The last Princess cruise I took was over 10 years ago onboard the Grand Princess on a 7 night Alaskan cruise and I’m looking into booking with Princess again onboard the Caribbean Princess next year out of Port Everglades for a 10 night South Caribbean with Martinique. This will possibly be my second cruise with Princess and my third cruise in general. I’m really excited for the itinerary and the private island. It seems more relaxing than booking a Royal cruise and stopping at Coco Cay and deal with all of the noise and large crowds along with the jacked up prices that Royal Caribbean charge for the the extras that are offered on the island. Happy cruising!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. This sounds like a fun cruise that you have planned. We have a video on Princess Cay that you may find useful here: ruclips.net/video/FfDpm6_USrY/видео.htmlsi=2DNRXIgrsKvT_lbz. Welcome to the community and happy cruising!
Great video. I am contemplating doing a Panama Canal transit in April 2025. I have seen other videos that spoke to the need for a major refurbishment and they mention that she was to go to dry dock in the fall of 2024. Do you know if she did and if so what was the scope of the refit?
Hi Thank you for watching our video and leaving a comment. Yes, the Caribbean went into a 3 week dry dock about 2 weeks after we got off. We are currently on the Island Princess which also had a 3 week dry dock since we last were on her in December 2023 and there are a lot of changes. The biggest changes are around making her more accessable - more ramps, some lower bar counters, wheel chair lifts, etc. Also almost all new carpet. The hot tubes also look new. So based on our experience on the Island, we expect a lot of updates for the Caribbean as well. Happy Cruising!
Which Princess ship is your favorite?? The only Princess ship I've been on is the Regal Princess which sails out of Galveston at different times of the year. Good video, folks!
Thank you so much for your comment. It is very difficult for me to say what is my favorite Princess ship. All of them have aspects I love. I especially love the Enchanted Princess, the Crown Princess, the Ruby Princess and the Emerald Princess. For some itineraries the Island Princess is my favorite. I am going to quote one of my friends, “My favorite Princess ship is the one I am currently on.” Please let us know if you want to hear more information on any particular ship. Happy Cruising!
@@ACruisingGoodTime I noticed in your tour of the ship you mentioned that you like to dance; so do I! did you find a place (besides the atrium) that played some good rock or Motown? Perhaps a real piano bar??
Have your cruised on the Caribbean Princess. Please let us know what you liked and disliked.
Great video, thanks for sharing
