Great video. We are on a seven day cruise on the Grand and five day land tour the last two weeks in July. This is our very first cruise for our 45th anniversary.
Very nice video. Going to Alaska in June and have watched lots of videos. Yours is one of the BEST, nice quiet, soothing back music. Nice video feeds. Appreciated all the information! Thank you
Oh cool! We were on this cruise actually. Our very first. We were also on deck 5. Took some videos & photos with our phone camera only so i love this film you made. Husband & i will go back to this so we can relieve our own experience. Thank you for this wonderful documentation. Goodluck on thenext ones🎉
Stunning! Great capture. We did the loop from Vancouver last June. Same stops except for Hubbard. Loved every minute of it. What camera did you use for your video? Absolutely loved it
@kathymichaels498 we got in late after 10pm. Stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Anchorage Airport, 3501 Minnesota Dr and W 36th Ave, Anchorage, AK, 99503-3650 United States of America. They had a free airport shuttle, then the next day took the shuttle again back to the airport to catch the tour bus to Whittier.
If you think about Glacier Bay, it's a classic case of climate change. All 65 miles and 1400 ft deep used to be filled with ice. It's stunningly beautiful, yet sad at the same time.
The NPS covers how much the glaciers receded between mid 1700s to mid 1800s. Most of glacier bay. All before the Industrial Revolution. Natural climate change but that’s nature.
Never been on a cruise ship. Husband wants to go. Thanks for the great photography. Where was the wildlife? Did you see any whales or land animals? Also was there anywhere to sit on decks to watch for wildlife? I saw no seating and everyone looked cold as they stood to watch the scenery. Seems like living at a hotel with amenities you can't use (pool at 40 deg) connected to a mall. I just don't see the value after watching this. I really want to thank you for opening my mind to what it would be like. THANKS.
That was our 3rd Alaska cruise. May was cold, but lots of snow to see. There are chairs on the outside decks. Seen whales, otters, and a black bear walking along the coatline. Recommend taking binoculars. There are always excursion you can take to get closer to wildlife. I'd go again, so pretty.
We were on the Grand last August. Sailed from Vancouver to Alaska. Great experience!
May is my favorite month in Alaska. I lived in Anchorage for 12 yrs 😊

Thanks for your video to cover what I missed on my Ruby Princess cruise all the way heavy rain on 21-28 May
Sorry you had all that rain..
Thank you for this video. It brought back memories!
Nice job. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks...
Thanks! We are going on the same cruise in about 3 weeks. Can't wait!
Have fun, enjoy...
We were on Grand for her first cruise of Alaskan season. Amazing how much less snow there was on White Pass for your train trip.
I'm glad we got to see the snow we did. Our past two cruises were later in the season, so not so much snow.
I enjoyed your video. We’re doing this same cruise in July. I’m getting so excited.
Hope you enjoy it!
Great video and thanks. We are going to Alaska cruise in Sept 14-24 with Sapphire Princess.
Have fun, September should be nice...

How did you land that lovely table by the window every night?
That was assigned to us for the whole cruise.
