Teddy, never apologize for the length of an excellent video. I believe most everyone appreciates the work that has to go into these type of videos. Keep up the good work!
Persona 9: the quarantine collector who gets all dressed with nowhere to go so he buys watches that Teddy shows and tries them on and models them at home then sells them on ebay for a loss.
Got a hamilton khaki auto. Being in the military, I've worn this watch out in the field, at the shooting range, and on the weekends with a t-shirt, jeans and boots. I love this watch.
I too am in the military, but favor the skx007 on an olive NATO for my field watch. Gets a lot of nods, both compliments and negatives from some salty Sergeants who think it is too “shiny”. Jealousy I say!
@@dparis2172 negative, the order says green khaki or black or anything inconspicuous. The steel case is the same gloss as dog tags which people commonly wear on the outside of their boots. Also, Vietnam GI’s wore dive watches all the time in enemy territory. That’s what I tell them and they have nothing left to say and I carry on with my watch still on
honestly, Teddy, this is some of THE most relatable watch content for young professionals: $1000 well-made watches with history and great movements. not cheap microbrands, but no omegas/zeniths either. there is a LOT in the $800-1800 range especially with gray market and you are really hitting all the best watches that most of us can afford, at least a couple of. GREAT vid Teddy, thank you!!
Even 2 years later, I can firmly say I completely agree with this comment. Lots of prices have inflated over the past couple of years, but these videos remain a great resource.

My suggestion for the dress watch persona in the $3000-$4000 range: 1. Oris Pointer Date (bronze w/ green dial is my personal fav) - dressy enough for a suit but also works as an every day watch, looks beautiful and adds a splash of color to the collection. 2. Max Bill (white dial w/ black leather strap) - light-colored option that looks so clean and the white dial with dark strap makes a nice contrast. 3. Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 (black or blue dial on bracelet) - bracelet and dark-dial option with an 80 hour power reserve at a great price, I personally think bracelets look best with a darker dial and this watch offers great value for the money.
The Conquest 39mm is SO underappreciated! Pictures doesn't do it justice at all, it's stunning in real life, such great specs and beautiful to look at, it's my favorite watch (blue dial) to wear daily and feel most comfortable with, among much more expensive pieces in my collection!
Really enjoyed this video Teddy. Please keep doing these. I learn about brands I had never heard of before, and I'd rather learn about them from reputable and knowledgeable sources.

Amazing video! I am a 3 watch guy on a low budget(under 3k), have Seiko SRPE43J1 as my dress watch now. My eye is on the Tudor 1926 now. It looks beautiful! Or Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80! Thanks for such detailed videos of watch collections 1 could have.
Awesome video Teddy! You picked some great watches for these categories, most of which I wouldn’t have even though of. Except the Tudor Black Bay 58 (That what seems to make every list haha).
I always look forward to and enjoy your watch roundouts!😉👍 Even though I am a dive watch fanatic, I love to watch your episodes because I learn about different brands, I get to see eccentric design pieces I would normally not look for, and I enjoy seeing what you put into each persona collection! I noticed that any and every Watch reviewers never bring up the Wegner 125th anniversary , but the Hamilton khaki is always brought up. If you have already I apologize that I missed it on your channel. I seriously can't believe how nice this watch is . Thanks by the way for bringing up the Canadian brand Marathon , I've been a collector of them for over 20 years . Proud to have a good brand like them out of Canada . Cheers !

Teddy, good job as always. You got me interested in watches, Eighteen years ago my wife got me an Oyster Perpetual Date and since then I acquired two Oakley's and for this past Christmas I purchased a G-Shock (big fun!). I've been looking at another Rolex or an Omega but you are making it tough; every time I watch one of your videos, I say to myself "well that's cool too!"
@@adaptivekalman yeah I agree this watch should be worth around $20,000 because of how good the quality is but grand Seiko is nice enough to sell it for a fourth of that price
Great stuff as usual, Mr. Teddy!! Coincidentally, I recently saw IN PERSON a friend of mine’s Rolex AirKing....man and is it beautiful!! And I was not a fan of that specific model. Definitely different when you see some of these watches in person!!
Great video on all fronts. Very well put together and considerate of different personas Thanks for the Mido recommendation. I’m between that and the Sub 200 now
I’ve never been a fan of dive watches…..then this vid with the very first piece, the Zodiac…..I heard a POP! In my brain and my heart is now set on owning the Sherbet AND the Pepsi version. Super fun and very nice build.

Fantastic video as always Teddy!!! Thank you very much. Just one little disagreement with your choices. I would never recommend a watch without a date function for a "single watch collection", because if you're going to use only one watch every day, in every occasion, practicality is a must, and the Blackbay isn't. May the fine reviews keep on coming. Cheers.
I finally got my Sinn U50 all tegimented! After 4 months of waiting, but it’s worth it. It’s an amazing watch, love it already. The only thing I wanna see improved is the clasp, but I can live with it. The watch is too amazing to nitpick it. That Sinn and Tudor BB 58 are my favourite watches 👍🏼
Nice video, Teddy, thank you. Kind of surprised you didn't have Rado True Square Open Heart or something like that for conversation starter. Bruce W did a review today, it's funky but kind of cool .

Hey Teddy, I have two recommendations for videos I'd love to see. First, a list of best third party straps/bracelets (obviously you're my go-to here, but I really have no idea where to begin looking for third party bracelets). The other video would be a review of the Oris Aquis Lake Baikal Limited edition. It's on your shop and I'm in love with that issue. Also underserved in the youtube community imo. The only shortcoming for me is that I feel like I'm outsized, but I'd love to hear your opinion on its truly unique dial/bezel.
Something to consider would be to put time stamps for each category of collector. I've seen a number of youtubers starting to do that right in the video progress bar.
