Reinsdorf is one of the worse owners in sports history. If it wasn't for Michael Jordan, Reinsdorf would only have one championship as an owner, that 2005 world series would be the only one.

This systemic failure started years ago. Letting Kenny Williams push Ozzie Guillen out the door started the derailment. Convincing Ventura to step in as manager, mistake. Promoting Kenny to president and making Rick Hahn GM, mistake. Putting Gets in charge of minor leagues, mistake. Letting Kenny and Rick wrestle with player decisions, mistake. Building the coaching staff and player development staffs with people who can't train players how to swing a bat or run to first base without pulling muscles and going on the IL for months, mistake. Firing Rickey Renteria, mistake. Not making serious free agent offers, mistakes. Settling for washed up players like Benintendi when you need some real studs on the field, mistake. Promoting Getz to GM, mistake. Hiring Pedro and his current staff, mistake. Everything boils down to one of two scenarios. Either Reinsdorf knows absolutely nothing about how to hire a sound baseball organization, but he's too damn proud to admit it, or he just doesn't give a dam, as long as he is in the black and generating a profit. Reinsdorf is the root of the whole poisonous tree.

Reinsdorf needs to sell. Only 1 World Championship in 45 years doesn't cut it. Wish MLB could force him out. Front office has not shown the ability to assemble winning teams consistantly. The fact that the manager & coaching staff not played in the big show speaks volumes. Limited success in the draft & trades. I have noticed that traded players do better elsewhere. Worse team I ever saw. Sox fan since 1966.
