- Sigma males have a variety of traits and characteristics that are unique to them and can be used to determine whether or not you belong to the rare archetype of the sigma. In this video we're going to give you 15 Critical questions to answer, and a guide on how to answer them in-order to asses if you truly are a sigma. You're going to want to stick around right till the end to give yourself the most accurate judgement on your personality type.

I was very happy to catch the 'sigma male series' as it answered many questions I've wondered for most of my life. I always thought I was the 'weirdo' in my small social groups. Alphas avoid me like the plague lmao. It's nice to understand myself better as it makes interaction with others easier. It also explains every failed relationship (they ALL failed). Now I know why I attract 'broken' women all the time. I never gave a rat's behind about hierarchy and personality types exclusively in males. Being largely introverted and finding social media intrusive and ridiculous, I didn't even know of the term until watching the videos. BTW, it doesn't take another sigma to recognize or understand one. We stand out even though we are repulsed by being in ANY spotlight.
Self employed for 45 years, accept responsibility for actions, learned from every mistake. Lost it all more then once. Landed on the streets with just the clothes on my back. What did I do? Went to a freeway ramp, stuck out my thumb and landed 1200 miles away. Hit the bricks with more than a dozen different trade skills I'd acquired in my life and soon had a new start. I've had my own shop for 22 years built on word of mouth clientele .

Same at 56... I think I was alpha before because I didn't believe in myself. I was very co dependent until my aha moment 2 years ago. I learned why I was the way I was thinking 10 you'd my self-improvement journey based on the new knowledge. I'm much more confident now, finally been recognized for my hard work at my job and learned that I'd really didn't ever want a lot of people in my life but I needed them in the needy way because I always thought I was a people, which I am but not to the degree that I used to think I was. I've definitely started to enjoy my solitude once covid started and then I started working from home. What I thought was a big circle that I had of friends has become a tiny dot of people that I know I want in my life, not need
Being a sigma may look good from the outside, but It is not easy when you are young and get picked on because you're "strange ". My mother was a pretty handy seamstress but she had her work cut out keeping my school uniform presentable due to constant fighting. Fortunately the "alphas" worked out it was easier to be friends or ignore me than be antagonistic.

I’m a retired tradesman in my seventies. I have found the vast majority of tradesmen like myself are sigmas. Independence in personal and work life are paramount and achievable in the trades. Their off time will find them hunting and fishing or other outdoor solitaire activities that involve self competition and the companionship of a small group of like minded trusted friends that share their interests but does not directly involve them in the activity.
When I first began watching videos on sigma male traits I fell for the hype. I knew I wasn't alpha and definitely not beta. So sigma began to sound as if it described me and some traits do. But several don't fit me. So I'm not worrying what Greek letter I identify with. I'm who I am and I've never relented to please others that wanted me to change and conform to their idyology.

That attitude sounds very sigma! Not every channel describes a sigma the same. This one fits me well except I am not so reserved. We just need to know ourselves and finding that a profile doesn't describe you fully is part of the discovery.
Yeah, we aren’t defeated until we yield, which we rarely do. We may quit (stop) when we realize our effort will not allow us to reach our goal. We are smart enough to know some games are rigged. We aren’t stupid and we often realize the “game” will never allow us to achieve the extremely high level we know we can reach. But, if we want it, we will figure out how to get to the level we want that is also worth the effort.
But, we don’t waste our time beating our heads against the wall. We usually find the weak link to win in that case. Or we pick another achievement that IS POSSIBLE and just as important to US.
For Alphas it’s about winning, for Sigmas it’s about achieving. The reward is reaching the level or goal we want (and that may not be “the top”). The reward is in the accomplishment, not pats on the back or praise from others.

If I can assume the sigma designation, I can say that it is a way of assessing and being critical, inexorably, decisive, courageously, irreplaceable, sure, visionary, meaningful, with purpose.
And I didn't choose these things, I didn't even knew at a young age, why, I saw myself, things or the world that way.

Although this quiz is not bad, I think it is important to note that whether or not you're a sigma male you can still become one if that's what you want to be. Traits and habits can be taught and learned as well as unlearned. Yes, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of that, as they were giving the questions I was marking myself out of one to 10 for each question. Out of 150 I got 114. I was much less of a Sigma when I was younger, but as I've gotten older, I have developed my inner Sigma and can see that I would like to develop it more.

This was a great video and answers I lot of questions of why I am the way I am. I didn't realize I was a Sigma till I watched this video. I will say though, being a Sigma is in today's world is hard. I have 3 or 4 friends max, and they all have something to offer, or have the ability to challenge me so I can learn something new. By definition, the personality type doesn’t require determination or validation or advice and guidance from others.
This then raises serious questions regarding the validity and opinions held in the narrative held in this video.
Determination is part of going through struggle and reaching your goal. I would say you really need it. Advices and guidance is also necessary if you want to achieve your goals faster or even gain necessary knowledge. We are blessed to have access to global library and people around the world with different expertise. We are always getting our guidance and help, you just don't recognize it.
I partly disagree. I agree for the validation part. But you can take advice and guidance from others. You can learn from others without having to go against your convictions. Else, pushed to the absurd, you wouldn't even be able to speak 😉
The nuance is that you should be able to tell apart the guidances that are insightful and guide you in the direction you want and those that do not. Critical, open mind in some sort
I used to be another male archetype (I believe I was a gamma male when younger), but I think I became a sigma through learning how life worked and all those things that rule a sigma's life.
I wasn't born a sigma, but, even without knowing about this archetype, I'm progressively becoming one. Still doubtful about the reliance I can put in such archetypes, but whatever... I am who I am and I'll stick to that 😁

As long as you always aim for self improvement you shouldn worry about what goes on around you or what anyone thinks you have the the gift of always becomeng a beter person than what you were yesterday and i look up to you.
As stated early on in the video. You should be considering which archetype you most closely align with. Even if your not spot on with every question. Doesn't nessisarily mean sigma isn't your closest archetype. It's not a hard definition. It's an archetype. You could be a sigma with problems like addiction or learned habit that obscures your core instincts. I very closely align with sigma. Accept my priorities are different. Greatness not a concern of mine. My time often poorly optimized due to marijuana abuse. I started to help ne sleep but quickly noticed it ..slowed things down. I was always thinking. Sometimes multiple inner monologs contemplating unrelated things. It's was enough to drive a young kid insane. Now I find it has its advantages. But still keeps me up at night. So easy to fall back into the vicious cycle out of some misguided feeling if nessisity. But hey bright side. At least it's pot not heroin. I could be completely squandering my gifts

You should be fine on your own, if you want to take care of your family though, you need to do better.
You would be surprised how much information you get out of small talk it may not help with your goals directly every time however in-directly most of the time I try to learn from everything no matter what there is is a lesson in every conversation every word sometimes it is a lesson you already know but those are just reminder it all comes together in the end.

It is great to be a sigma male, it requires a level of spiritual development. To know who you are, what you are, where you com from and what the purpose of life is.
I think question 13, the way you ask it, is a little too focused on two things I really don't care about. Status and wealth. Life without those things, or the endless pursuit of them is not a sign you're not a sigma. No small number of us are reclusive, independent and have created lifestyles that provide ample comfort far outside societal norms. Our homes can be (like mine) an off grid cabin surrounded by natural paradise in an exotic place, or a scrappy looking boat they own outright, keep fixed themselves and take wherever they feel like going. Many of us don't have (or need) careers or financial success in any traditional sense. While still very much motivated by singular, almost obsessive goals, not all of us have goals that require us to participate in the rat race. My primary goal, for instance, is to establish, maintain and then savour the peace and tranquillity around myself. I do that by managing a rainforest property for my landlord, so I have very low rent, autonomy and loads of time for my interests and hobbies. It is interesting that you acknowledge the fact we like to live outside societal norms, but then try to box us right back into them. I guess I'm just saying sigma's goals and the standards they judge their success in life by can be just as hard to pin down as we ourselves are. I feel a lot of the wealth oriented "sigma grindset" attribution comes from people who are trying to typecast some of humanity's biggest mavericks and misfits. Good luck with that.

We are far beyond that now and those critical thoughts have been long surpassed. So, where then? In the last, best, most effective ideas that surpassed, in force of truth, those which came before them and have yet to be surpassed, those of Jesus Christ. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, were powerful enough that their names and substance of their work has carried their name through so many thousands of years but Christ has them all beat. His ideas dominate the world and remain the pinacle. Name who is more note worthy or influential as a man of ideas. Go ahead. Who? Yep, nobody. Still the best selling book of all human history is the Bible, a book domanantly about His life and His ideas. What book does better? Sure, in any given year, some books out sell Bible sales but, over time and duration, those books and ideas fade away and the Bible remains. I dare say, there has been a large up-tick in sales very recently due to the mass insanity of the idea that a person can use synthetic, entirely un-natural means to carve their bodies into happiness. Far more sane is the idea, "your body is a gift of God, and the temple of the Holy Spirit"... So, respect it as a gift and not some play thing of yours.
So, my answer is the one you haven't given. My purpose is reality and truth in purpose, power far beyond today or even my own life time. Real "good" ideas endure and better humanity IF they are learned and listened to. Test them for yourself, Sir, if you doubt me. And before you embark on some insane accusations about the history of religion and hypocrisy, permit me to say this, under the religion of Atheism no greater quantity of life has been taken, nor has there existed any greater hypocrisy. So, while the men of religion may fall, as is expected, and while men may lack comprehension about ideas relating to balance, which seem contradictory, the people became better shitty people because of Jesus Christ, not perfect people. Atheism has, by fact, evidence, and proof beyond all doubt and scientific measure, debased and lowered humanity, to the extent that regression is painted as "progress" and hate is called love. How is that for obvious contradiction?
Atheism is a lie so empty and vain and useless that it digresses humanity to inferior days of humanity, and that is the simple fact, evident all around us now.
So, I challenge you now. Do you bend to definitive fact and evidence when your face is shoved within it? Or do you behave as one for whom the fact is respected because reality has merit, the reality being, God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible are reality, the essence of that which elivates humanity the best, and most, in all of history to date?
Or is critical thinking a blid spot because, reasons? Either way, I have answered your question with facts, hard (insane) evidence, logic, and reason. Can you answer mine, Sir? Or do you hold to some debasing values simply because, like a child, it takes from you power you'd prefer to imagine you had but, never really did. And service to God is something you defy because, insane reasons of your own. A Sigma man is a realist because reality must be owned along with self. You cannot be accountable to a thing that does not exist. So, a real Sigma would never let ego or selfish feelings stand in the way of his own goals and real accomplishment. Accomplishment can only be achieved in the light of reality and cold, hard, fact, or it is no real accomplishment. It would make ones accomplishments nothing more that vainty and self ego-stroking. To have value, what is done must be real and must be done in full view of reality. If Atheism is at fault for the degridation of humanity, it must be discarded and whatever was before it must be taken seriously. Logically speaking, to this day, nothing has advanced humanity more in class, character, and the betterment of itself than Christianity. Science used to chop up your body is insane. Science used in the light of, "your body is a gift and you should respect and appreciate it, treating it with care and healthy purpose" is sanity born of God, the one who designed and built the very mechanism of it. A mechanism, I might add, science has yet to surpass. A single human mind, of any average person, is beyond the powers of humanity right now. So, untill we can craft a human brain without using a human brain or the very structures of God, and with only the base eliments off the periodic table, what God called, "the slime of the earth", I'd say humanity missed the mark by a huge margin. And, at the very least, the objective merit of God is due re-examination and serious research. If a being, advanced enough to build us, exists and indeed wishes us to adhere to certain rules, ideas, and the spirit of those ideas, so that humanity, in doing so, may achieve its greatest potential, I'd say that the Atheists bet on the wrong horse against that being and lost spectacularly. Humanity is not God. Humanity has the potential to be amazing, under God. Humanity also has the potential to become a parody of itself, a bad joke based on other bad jokes, without God. Well, sir? Sigma or just another vapid ego maniac, too in love with itself to desire what any Sigma would desire, the damned truth, relentlessly and without mercy or ego? I am because God is, is a simple statement of fact. A being, far beyond anything we are or ever will be, made us in His image and loved what He created and seeks our betterment according to ideas beyone what we are capable of being perfect at doing or comprehending, which makes complete sense. Do humans not ponder how to make synthetic humanoid life? Do we not consider how we might treat a being we create, that would then exist on our level and what rules we might impose on that existence. Rules such as, "no killing"? By nature then, we mirror in ambition and immagination what "God" has already done and mastered. Would it not then behove humanity to heed that creators words, words given to us along with free choice to even disregard that word, to our detriment?
So, what you ask as challenge, I deal back to you, Sir. Sigma or just some cocky dim wit, with more in common with the beta rabble than a man of intelect and appreciation of things the grant the fruit of growth and maturity? Were I to not know God at all, I would, at the very least, take time enough to gage the merit of God and learn. You see, God is not just the God of Sigma men. He is the God of all humanity. As such, His message would appeal to all humanity at each different level of our diverse capacities. To the low of IQ, He would appeal as equally as to the very, very high IQ. So, in that way, God would give, to each human, that insight of which it is capable of seeing and also that which might seem simple and childish also. His words would be give in that way, helpful then to the greatest and least, in equal measure. If you did read the Bible with respect, you might gain nothing much from some things and quite a great deal, more so than you may know or realize, at other things. And some things that, upon first reading, might seem simple but, are of such vital and crucial importance that the success of your very soul, in eternity, depends upon you "getting it".
God is the Alpha and Omega, all in all. You would do well to not under estimate to futility of human existance or under estimate the answers given to humanity that give it its value and meaning.
Can you flip sides and be both at times? I often feel that I do depending on the circumstance... if there is danger I react before thinking and train to be ready for a situation like that, and I also like sitting back out of the spot light, low key and silent, i have my battle scars which is alpha, and emotional mental which is sigma

To "react before thinking" is simply the nature of a Machiavellian.
A true sigma does not seek the spotlight, nor accolades, but is willing to take on the role of a leader in certain situations because he knows that he must. He sees failures in life as an opportunity to grow. While recognizing and respecting each person as unique individuals, people are naturally drawn to a sigma and see him as a leader and mentor of sorts, even though this is not what he seeks.
An alpha ultimately despises a sigma because the latter is in control of his own destiny and doesn't care what the former thinks.

We have brains, logic, reason, the power to evaluate our actions. We don't do things instinctively, we're no animals...at least I'm not, so why should I degrade myself with characteristics given to wolves such as alpha, beta or sigma unless it's a good justification for some why they act like animals.

Based on my incorrect expectations for this 'quiz', I am afraid this 'test' is contaminated, for after you ask the question, it is followed by a strong leading description of how a Sigma would answer that question. In a court of law, we call this 'leading the witness', and so this test I deem invalid. Even though the pretense is serious and the narrator has a slow pace and a low tone, still this is for "entertainment purposes only"....

A decent video but, you got a few things wrong. This is not an insult. #1. You discounted God, who can not be beaten, and I am a man who believes in God. #2. You discounted the reach of certain goals, namely the Sigma who sets the goal of the truly impossible, namely a traditional family in a world set against that being achieveable. #3. The colaboration work achieveable with God (see #2). Goals require the proper tools and if a family, a lasting legacy, is your goal, then you must seek the proper tools. #4. No love for money or power. Money is a tool akin to power in that, if you have a lot of it, you get a lot more attention. Sigma males are efficient men and, if your goal doesn't require a lot of money, you would shy away from it.
I mentioned all of this because, some Sigma men might think that they are not because of their awareness of God. Most of the great Greek Philosophers loathed interacting with people but, they did so because they recognised the value in values being passed on. Indeed, it is hard to master skills so alien to ones own inclinations but, for those who choose to climb the impossible, it must be done and there are no alternatives. No human can force another so, skill sets must be broadened. Having said that, it is painful yet rewarding. My son's can both solve a Rubiks Cube in under two minutes, they think critically, and both are under ten years of age.
Lastly, while genuine relationships are, by far my personal preference, and I have few friends, you owe society a poker players honesty. What I mean by that is, to the world I reflect the empty, vapid, chit-chat inclined man that makes them feel at ease. "Good morning!" * big smile (makes me want to puke) but, I do so because of what I do and don't owe society and, I can hide anywhere. The lie of it does bother me but, again, what are your goals?
If you claim to be a Sigma male then you must acknowledge reality and the reality is, no Sigma man would ever let himself stand in his own way, period. If God is real, God is real. What I want to feel on the matter has zero to do with it. If you want a family and you know you will have to endure brutally opposing forces to gain what you want, does that even matter? The gains, in Legacy, out weigh the personal sacrifices.
I'm a married man of over fifteen years with four kids. I served in the military. I will own my home in just under six years. I already own land. All of my cars are paid off. I am a benevolent Sigma man. There is a higher level of existence to be lived, one not of the flesh, of blood, or of your own will. "He who would save his life will lose it. He who would lose his life will save it." - Jesus Christ.
I work now on the ultimate challenge, saving my soul and going to heaven. As a solitary goal, you couldn't pick anything harder or more rewarding. You cannot change others but, you can change yourself.
Also, never forget this singular fact: Sigma's are the true Alpha males. Sigma is the name they gave us so, what's in a name? Who gives a damn. The reason we are the true Alpha males is this, who remembers the name of the leaders who poisoned the great Sigma philosopher Socrates with hemlock? Anybody? While some few may know, my point is this, Socrates was a force that endured and moved through history. Some may call Alpha males the true power but what they want can take three of four decades to achieve. What Socrates did has lasted beyond his death, by many thousands of years, even to this very day. Both in his students and rivals and his teachings have touched the entire educated world, expanding our knowledge and minds. He was also quite poor. The goals he set for himself required no money but gave birth to the power and understanding of the mind. And you can agree or dissagree with the man personally as you choose but, my point is well made in either case. Real power is never achieved in considering one lifetime, gentleman. Have you heard of the Alpha-Omega man, the All-in-all man, Jesus Christ, who's teachings influenced the entire modern world by teaching men the truth about "better" ways to live life? Feel free to hate Christianity to your hearts content but, His power was undeniable and He literally had no money at all.
I ask my fellow men of the mind this question, who was the real power of Jesus Christ's day, the men who killed him or did they end up standing in His shadow for all eternity? Alpha males are useful, true enough, but ultimately are un-necessary and can be ignored mostly. Sure, they can kill you but, if your goal is larger than the world and you can express an idea of true merit and benefit to the world, by the time you have shared that idea, it will already be far too late. Coins are the clattering of metal against the dirt. Women are path of new life and a modest Legacy. Ideas are the power of an eternal legacy. The earth will burn to ashes and the universe will go dark but, the name of Jesus Christ will endure. Be my guest trying to stand against that kind of raw power. If the devil shits his pants at His name, what chance do you have fighting Him? Even the powers that exist today fear those who believe in God.
You are a Sigma for a reason, gentleman. Make of that knowledge what you will or, make something more of it, with an alliance with the real powers of the universe, those which keep the sun rising and the earth spinning. If you are indeed Sigma men, all I ask is that you give some small thought to the value of 'perspective' at the very least.
God bless you, gentleman, and I do mean it. What I can do with God is overcome myself to be what is necessary for a wife and children and a job I couldn't care less about because all that it is, is a money despenser. My real work is done at home, home schooling my children in the ways of truth (and therefore reall power beyond ones own lifetime).
Change exists all around us about some truly stupid ideas that are already fading away and dieing because of their stupidity. Hacking up your own body to achieve happiness? Seriously? Name me a single animal that, for the purpose of its own self, rips and tears at its own body to achieve its real purpose and I will admit the merit of it, depending, of course, on the example you might give, that there is any. Even as radicle as the change of a butterfly is, it happens within the laws of nature and is because of its nature. Not a single scrap of metal or drop of synthetic chemical is involved. Yet people doing so will result in happiness why? If that bad idea can be as powerful as it has been, imagine what actual truth might accomplish. All that is required is the answer to, how, and, in what way. Still the power of bad, laughable, ideas cannot be denied. I wonder what power you all may choose, now that you know, and if you choose to let history be your judge, not the "Alpha" men of today?
