- Memories are made with all senses: Why do I start with this? Its because every sound, smell, taste, sensation sticks to our memories. ✨
Thats why I left some sounds in - like the sqeeeeesh from the kitchen door, or the sound of shoes falling down on the ground, or the doors slamming on each other... and so on. 🥹
During my 30 days in India I stayed 28 days at @yogavidyamandiram3176 - I did my 300hr Yoga Teacher Training and had the best time. I expected something but nothing special and I got a bunch of love, wisdom and friends! 💚
You see in this Vlog Libby Ji from Australia, Benita Ji from Canada, Federika Ji from Italy and in the end you see Monu Ji - Teacher, Organizer and Friend.
It was a very special time and this Vlog gives you a tiny glue what we did every day for 28 days. 🥹
We did Yoga, sang Mantras, explored some temples, had great food and so on and so on.
Some of our friends were animals: dogs, cows and monkeys ...
We felt in love with Chapati - the house dog and his girlfriend (we called her "Mama" - I think the name was Susi). Susi had a few puppies (maybe 1 or 2 Years old) and one of them visited us regularly and enjoyed our company. We called her "Baby" and created a lovely relationship with these dogs during our 4 week stay. 🐕
It was special, it was unique, it was just love 💕
I can recommend this school deeply from the bottom of my heart. The teachers and the hole team is great.

We Indians are losing our culture while forigners are learning our vedic, sanatan 🕉science. I have met people who wanted to commit suicide because of depression, now they are living happily and blissfully because they have practised yoga. 🕉
Where can I have student training...? Why everybody wants to have teacher training?

Love Vidya Mandiram, I was there at the same time, September 2022 but I was doing drop in classes. Great teachers, loved my time there, learned a lot. Great video!

I am considering coming to rishikesh next year and am pondering about doing both 200 and 300 hours.
Do you recommend this and would you think doing all in one school or one part in one school one in other would be better? I would appreciate your thoughts. Thankyou
Hi Andrea I am happy you like it 🙌. My honest opinion is that this decision has nothing to do with the school or to switch schools - the question is: is your interest in Yoga that big, that you want to commit to 2 months intense yoga practise and learning in India - mentally and physically?
It is possible to do - I don't doubt that. I think as student it would be better to give yourself some time to process all the informations to get a better understanding in teaching and yoga philosophy. It can be a lot information.
But if you are already deep into the yoga topic in a very holistic way you will definitely enjoy it of the fullest 🙌 and you will have the best time in your life. The learning never stops and I for myself enjoyed learning very much in this school. I was sad that I had to stop and move haha.

Ich hatte die beste Zeit dort und kann die Schule wärmstens empfehlen. Ein Freund war jetzt im Januar dort - dieser kann es auch "kühl" weiter empfehlen 😁.

I am planing to go! Girls is it safe to travel on my own?
Hi Mia. In my opinion it is safe if you follow some rules. For this YTT the school ordered a taxi to pick me up from the airport. This was great 👍. Same on the way back to the airport. I felt super safe.
People in Rishikesh say that it is a safe place but you have to stay careful. A friend of mine travels by herself and said it’s manageable.
