Honestly, healing The Creeper was a 5th dimensional move. He swapped off of Sniper due to the pressure of being pocketed and wanted to be useful which made him instead played Heavy which allowed him to be a core part of your defense. We may be mocking the AI but it saw a play none of us ever thought of: Guilt tripping the sniper to switch.
I'd say it was coincidental, with cgpt only seems to remember the name of the player the medic healed during the screenshot it keeps instructing them to do the same thing over and over, even when they're not the one being healed it still insists to keep healing the last thing it saw on the screencap (even if there were none) because that's what it looks up as the optimal way to play medic. the same reason why it keeps telling his engineer to level up his buildings even when it's maxed, it's merely guessing based on what it sees and finds online.
TheCreeper was actually the goat of this video. Switched to heavy once they realised you were pocketing them, and then proceeded to destroy the enemy, even jumping into the enemies at the end of the round once they realised you were about to get another uber and probably use it on them
It seems like making it focus on telling the player what not to do can be beneficial, since otherwise it'll tell the player to do whatever it thinks of.
Next Uncle Dane video is gonna be an AI generated tutorial on how to "upgrade your sentry to level 3 for maximum firepower" and no one will know the difference.
My hypothesis is that because the prompt said coaching a game, and not specifically TF2, that due to ChatGPT being probabilistic, and a *lot* of writing about 'games' involves 'Creepers' that when given the chance to 'contextually' talk about creepers it did.
@@TnegaLibram I think it's mostly just because it's one of the first names it mentioned. Since it, as far as I understand, takes the conversation so far into account when decided on the text, then it makes sense that in a conversation where "TheCreeper" has been mentioned a lot, there's probably a high chance they'll be mentioned again. Since this is a positive feedback loop, it will continue to get more and more fixated, as the more it mentions "TheCreeper" the more likely it will be to mention "TheCreeper" again.
@@starup4960 Yeah, that makes sense. best way to test would be to put a bunch of 'normal' names and one named 'Super Mario', and then see if it gets fixated on the plumber.
AI in the title and the thumbnail made me believe it was about making some kind of Director AI (like L4D2) that will do chaotic dumb shit during the round. Imagine, randomly uber Sniper, force revive players on spots they died in, no reload needed for a few secs (rocket and pipebomb hell), goofy ragdolls mod active, and other.
That sounds like a cool idea actually, just not sure how you would give it context in L4D2 with which it can then make decisions but since the Directory acts over a longer period of time it might work better than this.
It's funny how the AI is so terrible when playing as engineer, when canonically, the robot engineer is the most intelligent of Gray Mann's robot army. The AI is also the kind of person who would think that engineer is meant to be played along the lines of Meet the Engineer, down to wanting to build more than one sentry.
To be fair, robo engineer does nothing but upgrade buildings, and doesn’t care about objectives since they are teleported in the right spot, so this checks out completely
Just to make a conversation. Doesn't Engie Bot build already upgraded buildings? I haven't seen a level 1 or 2 Sentry and I can't tell the difference of a Tele 1 or 2 or 3 from Engie Bot. Probably because most of the time he dies from my hands in a manner of seconds (Yes I always immediately go for Engie Bot no matter what class I am), dies from my teamate and if he does survive, I'm being bombarded by the other Robots.
