I currently have aquas, and they feel awesome, but are annoyingly loud, and I work in my living room with my mom occasionally which makes it weird to type because of the sound
I'm a huge fan of this keyboard. The only downside is it's price but it really has all the features you'd want. Wireless or BT, USB C, best in class RGB, classic green switches (or yellow if you prefer), and you can buy it in the phantom key variant which looks so sick. It's also nice and small to keep the minimalist look but still feels great to type on side it's just the regular black widow with the right side cut off. I think at 149.99 it would have been the perfect price for price to performance but when it's $180-200 that's just overboard for what you get.
180$ for no optical switches, abs keycaps its madness. Something is wrong with whole Blackwidow line up pricing. Huntsman TKL and mini have better price and hardware.
Nice video, just wonders anyone knows why the "C" Key turns on while pressing the "Fn" Key? I didn't see any function binding with the "C" Key. Thanks.
Thumbs up ! Great review, Just what I needed to complete my Razer setup. I have no problem with the price. Razer make great products. Glad you only mentioned the price but didn't harp on it because it's always up to the consumer if they want to pay for it.
@@mohawk4759 oh I don't know...since all of their products started filling up all stores and youtubers started reviewing their products every release...etc, etc....
@@mohawk4759 whats your problem dude? I don't work for Razer, ask them. I just said that I don't have a problem with it. I'm pretty sure the price will lower at some point like everything else. They probably set the price high because its their 1st 65% keyboard is my guess.
This, huntsman mini has bugs. I can’t even use mine anymore because it hangs the task manager and my taskbar, windows icon, and some apps are unresponsive and frozen because there’s something wrong with it that razer hasn’t fixed yet.
do either of these come with the wrist pad? or is it purchasable maybe? I have issues with arthritis and enjoy having the pad like on my older blackwidow

That price is insane! Wtf Also ... can someone explain the draw of wireless keyboards? Keyboards don’t get moved. You find a place for a cable and you’re done. There are questions about latency. That’s moot with a cable. I’ve also played with people who suddenly have battery issues needing to replace or plug in wireless devices. That goes away 100% with a wire, and it introduces real problems. I don’t get it at all. I’ve been playing PC games aggressively since the 90s. I do currently use a wireless keyboard for work as a programmer, but when working I occasionally actually move around and connect to workstations in meeting rooms and having a wireless keyboard for that is actually good and doesn’t have any real negative impacts. ..... also my wireless keyboard for work is a cheap Bluetooth anker (will work for PC, Mac, and iOS).
Razers hyper speed wireless is faster then my last mouse with a wire. I use 400 dpi and low sens, swinging this mouse around at 90mph the lack of wire is true freedom haha. Looks great on desk with no wires. I'd love that keyboard, not only would it sit pretty on my desk, I have an OLED TV next to my desk that I swap over to for casual games sometimes, would be cool to just move my mouse and keyboard over, if I wanted. I've never lost connection or ran out of battery on my mouse, if I did you simply plug in the USB c to charge and play like a normal wired man for a hour or so. I'm not sure why people want a wire if razers hyper speed connection is so good and fast, maybe it would save you $50 getting the wire.
As someone who does a lot of studying on his desk, I find that I move stuff on my desk around a lot. Wires just make everything feel very cluttered and annoying to move around. I am also studying computer science right now :).
for that much money you can buy something like a gk68 or any other hotswappable keyboard or a prebuild kit with no switches and keycaps, you get your preferred switches, lube, foam and keycaps. You put the foam in. you lube the stabs, you lube the switches, you put them in with the keycaps of your choice and there. A full custom keyboard thats way better than this trash that razer sells for almost 200 dollars. And all that for way cheaper, maybe if you're going all out and you get some 70 dollars keycaps and holy pandas or something expensive like that you end up paying the same.
couple reasons people wont. 1 they like razer, 2 that's too complicated for them, 3 doesn't integrate with their system the way they want it too, 4 not everyone is an enthusiast that cares about perfect sound or anything. while its easy to soak up words from the internet and add it to a comment, theres also those who would prefer to save time and focus it on their workload, and just buy a prebuilt keyboard that will be perfect for their needs. razers not trash just not what you want for the money.
Man this mechanical keyboard rabbit hole... Now I want this! 😢
I like it. But the price? Wow.
Steelseries if you’re listening build this, just because I can’t have so many apps for every brand’s peripherals.
If you like tactile switches, I recommend you try the Hyperx Aqua, they are my favorites. Great review but is too expensive for me
I currently have aquas, and they feel awesome, but are annoyingly loud, and I work in my living room with my mom occasionally which makes it weird to type because of the sound
Yes, even though I have money and all, the Magic Keyboard just gives me more usage of a hyper light and thin wireless keyboard, even while gaming

Totally - plenty of features, but that's a lot to pay for a non-custom keyboard. Hopefully we see some good deals on it this holiday season.
