I love the idea that the “Let It All Out!” taunt will play indefinitely as long as the button’s held down. Sometimes you just need a good 5 second long scream into the void.
They should add an Easter egg where if you wait on the character select screen for 40 minutes with Peppino selected, you get jumpscared and the game closes

I love how much you manipulated the Peppino model! Usually when people use the Peppino model they understandably keep it within the restrictions of how it looks but you made it look sorta 2D and cartoony.
This moveset is great, and it's actually pretty similiar to his rivals of aether workshop one There's a peppino mod for that game made by the original creator of pizza tower (mcpig), and it's pretty epic too
For Peppinos smash attack, he should have done the part in the final boss where Peppino smacks pizzaface a bunch of times, and then slams him into the ground
Fantastic moveset ideas! I really feel like Peppino would fit right in in Smash so I'm glad to see concepts for him. One thing though is I think it would be cool if when you held down the taunt button as Peppino he would pull out a juke box and start break dancing just like in Pizza Tower.
In the middle of the Smash Bros rogue's gallery, Peppino's just an ordinary middle aged man with an extreme amount of anxiety and desperation, and he's amazing for it.
This is the video that got me into serious moveset design, and I’d personally want to say thank you for making something as beautiful as this. First watched this video a year ago, and I’m finally getting a second rewatch of this masterpiece. I literally can’t think of any ways to improve upon this gameplay wise, it matches the hectic speed of Pizza Tower to a T and I absolutely love it. His weird physique and disjoints, unique mechanic that actually adds something I want in Smash… a straight up command run… it’s all amazing! You rock, dude. Keep up the good work! Seriously!
Funnily enough, I bought pizza tower a few days before this released, so great timing! I really enjoyed this moveset, especially since rushdown is my preferred play style. Great job!
I love this idea but I think that his down smash should be Peppino picking up the sword and have a small lighting bolt that hits him and make a electric explosion like when he picks it up in the game and the lighting bolt should have a small spike like pikas that leads into the attack. Also his down air should spike like most stall and falls in smash. And finally I think that he should have a p rank purple outfit
I really like the knight down smash idea, since it’s more of a direct and specific reference. The P rank outfit would also be very cool and fitting as well

If I can add as maybe an idea, Mach 3 is unlocked by pressing diagonally down to the left or the right for around maybe half a second, while preforming Mach run level 2, this buffs peppino’s grabs, smash attacks, and special moves, giving them new properties as peppino goes ballistic, and he runs even faster, able to catch up with sonic, however, he loses even more damage on his other attacks, gains quite a bit of knockback, their turnaround is laggy and reverts them back to Mach 2, and while he does have more hits of that armor, it isn’t a lot so he can still be comboed out of it, while damage is non lethal in pizza tower, outside of bosses, you can get comboed, and lose score if you aren’t careful.
An example would be his Mach 3 grab dash which when they grab them now transitions into a cargo throw just like dks due to adrenaline, but is forced to walk while cargoing their foes, but allows them to set up some unique combos, peppino’s super jump launches peppino even higher, and deals more damage, but loses the ability to grab the ledge, peppino’s taunt is replaced with a super taunt, that can clear the stage of traps, and acts as a powerful finisher, but stops Mach run instantly
While this does seem impossible to put Peppino in smash, Undertale managed to get a place in smash as a Mii costume so there’s probably a good chance for Peppino to get into smash.
In my opinion, I think it’d be cool if one of the victory animations rank changes depending on how well you did. I don’t know how it can be implemented, but I think it can in a creative way. Also the taunt of Peppino doing his little breakdance I think should’ve been one of the taunts, with the hand biting being reduced to a idle animation. You can continue the taunt for as long as you can.
I usually have a huge gripe with the model used in this video, but it turns out its just because most of the time hes used incorrectly. Some of the renders here look FANTASTIC!
Peppino’s up taunt should be his “YEEEEAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUW)” scream that he does at the beginning of boss fights His side taunt should be his “ mama mia 🤌” idle animation, Finally, his down taunt should be his taunt from the game, you know, where he strikes a random pose. (It be cool if he could parry projectiles with his down taunt)

I kinda understand why Fraymakers "dropped the ball" on Peppino's inclusion. The truth is that he was always gonna appear as an assist first because his inclusion dates back to the Kickstarter days, entirely based on the SAGE demo version of the Italian man. The way I see it the demo probably impressed Team Fray so much they reached out to PTG to include Peppino in as one of the "hidden gem" kind of characters back then. Obviously now that the game's out with a tremendous explosion there's like 999% chance Peppino is going to get upgraded as a fighter and join the Fray, so we have that.

If you have 5, it's S rank, If you have 4, it's A rank, if it's anything else besides of stock, it will judge you on either max stamina percent, or exposure. But if you beat a battle without taking damage, you can get a very rare P rank victory.
We could add Fake Peppino as an echo fighter. the only changes being: A taller hitbox in exchange for more attack range, a few animations different than Peppino's, but act relatively the same, his down special has been changed. He still taunts, but instead of countering, he launches several projectiles that bounce diagonally. his final smash will be changed to the Fake Peppino Tunnel chase sequence. Similar to Mr Game-and-Watch's final smash, where he turns big and charges forward. any opponent caught in his mouth would be KO'd.
Move over, Shovel Knight and Shantae, and go and stay in the trash where you rightfully belong, Sans, because *THIS* guy is the most worthy indie character of getting into Snash.
The victory theme being the defeating a boss theme is an amazing idea but I personally would chose the P-rank or S-rank theme as the victory theme but again your ideas for this smash character are incredible keep up the great work
I would love if the Secret Zone was the map, cause it could have any transformation as a hazard, like the Spicy Curry could be instead a Kentucky Kenny projectile.
For the up air, I was thinking the little shoryuken style uppercut you can do in the original game. I mean, it’s literally the same input as a Smash up air, so it just makes sense. Or maybe you could separate his up special into a grounded and aerial version with the uppercut being his aerial version and the super leap for the grounded? Just spitballin’ some ideas here. Edit: Man, now I’m thinking the aerial up special could be the spinning jump he does when he gets the Satan’s Choice. It’d work similar to Samus up special.

I saw in the About section that you don't take requests, but I really want to put some character ideas here: Sam and Max from same-named series, Raz from Psychonauts, Cooking Mama, a penguin from Club Penguin, Spooky from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, the kids from Kindergarden 1&2, and somehow something related to Return of the Obra Dinn.

The victory theme being the defeating a boss theme is an amazing idea but I personally would chose the P-rank or S-rank theme as the victory theme but again your ideas for this smash character are incredible keep up the great work
think that if you don't take ANY damage, a p rank will happen, and it's got the p rank theme because... of course it is.
it would make sense if peppino was in smash, bc there is a grab attack where peppino could use his grab dash sprites for it
and many other attacks too
I would love if the Secret Zone was the map, cause it could have any transformation as a hazard, like the Spicy Curry could be instead a Kentucky Kenny projectile.
For the up air, I was thinking the little shoryuken style uppercut you can do in the original game. I mean, it’s literally the same input as a Smash up air, so it just makes sense. Or maybe you could separate his up special into a grounded and aerial version with the uppercut being his aerial version and the super leap for the grounded? Just spitballin’ some ideas here.
Edit: Man, now I’m thinking the aerial up special could be the spinning jump he does when he gets the Satan’s Choice. It’d work similar to Samus up special.
This seems like a cool channel! I saw in the About section that you don't take requests, but I really want to put some character ideas here: Sam and Max from same-named series, Raz from Psychonauts, Cooking Mama, a penguin from Club Penguin, Spooky from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, the kids from Kindergarden 1&2, and somehow something related to Return of the Obra Dinn.

only things i'd change are making one throw his bite throw from in game, and breakdance as a taunt or victory thing
