Join me in exploring Wario Land's spiritual successor, Pizza Tower, and it's scariest level!
The Mario Bros Gameplay and the few seconds of Banjo-Kazooie Gameplay belong to packattack04082. Superliminal gameplay belongs to Punish. And, obviously, Markiplier's Fnaf 1 video belongs to Markiplier. It's not mine, and I don't claim it. All other gameplay footage, however, belongs to me.

a fact i love about the butcher, is that he's not a robot, but an actual zombie, his animations make him look more like a puppet on strings than the actual robot puppet on strings, his deactivated form is literally him just *dead* , and hell, there's literally blood coming out of its head.
There's a poster with a human wearing the same uniform as that animatronic somewhere in the level
@@LTeleVision8 ik, but everyone thinks hes a robot for some forsaken reason
@@ritchiedevon4907because the rest of them is robots and we didn't think that Pizzahead would stuff an _actual dead body_ in one of those suits
but uh
he did
It's like he's the Springtrap of Don't Make a Sound
Springtrap confirmed fr
Fun fact: The Sausage Toppin Monster (yes they're called that) slowly gets faster the longer you're chased by it.
Well that's horrifying 😅
"You can't RUN from ME"
He starts out mad slow, then his max speed is just a teensy bit slower than Peopinos top speed.
@@rianmela3825 so you can still outrun him…thank goodness
I bet its because he progressively gets more tired of your shit
And he didn't even mention the scariest jumpscare of them all: the Octoberfest...
I actually find the cheese jumpscare to be the scariest, it's just that huge mouth that's just DARK there's ot even a tongue or anything it's a huge gaping hole that you could totally fit in, and it covers a huge chunk of the screen while it's the smallest animatronic, giving the idea that it just enlarges itself to swallow you into the void... I find that really uncomfy in a good way
That's actually really cool! Thanks for sharing your interpretation of it, I wouldn't have seen it that way!
"Uncomfy in a good way"
Maybe work on your phrasing there bud.
Doesn’t help that it’s original jumpscare (the 3D version) is it literally eating you
Took the words out of my mouth, it's the only jumpscare that actually really disturbs me.
Other than oktoberfest, of course
In America, you eat cheese
But in Soviet Russia, cheese eat you!
oh and you can see teeth inside the pizzaboy costume’s mouth so yeah there is a corpse in there most likely
also the joke with the title card is that it looks all cutesy and family friendly and then theres just the name DONT MAKE A SOUND in the corner juxtaposing the cheery visuals
You took the words right out of my mouth
yeah it makes it seem like the level is holding up a facade
Basically the opposite of golf. The titlecard makes you think it's gonna be a tough and action packed level. But no, it's just a chill game of golf.
pizza boy anthony
The thing i like the most abt dont make a sound is the fact that all the animatronics are introduced in the same order as the toppins in every level. First the mushroom then the cheese, the tomato, the sausage, and finally the pineapple during the escape sequence
I'm afraid you forgot to mention the PIZZA RAT
rat
literally the cutest thing ever and nothing can change my mind
BRICK‼️‼️
i like the juxtaposition in the title card between the silly happy art and the small shaking bright red text in the corner saying "DON'T MAKE A SOUND." in all caps
Trust me, even title is extremely unnerving
It's all fun, colorful, cheerful, childs playing with their favorite animatronics from Pizzaboy's Pizz-Pizza (yes, that's official name of restaurant)
But at bottom left, it's dark and says "DON'T MAKE A SOUND" with red letters
While it still tries to convince you that it's a good place, it also tries to protect you by advising you to not make any sound, otherwise animatronics will get triggered
also missed the opportunity for get ready for spaghetti 0:17
Bruhh that would've been epic
Spooooooky spaghetti
You forgot to show the Pineapple Monster's original jumpscare. It was cut from the game and replaced with him taking you to the other monsters.
The Pineapple's jumpscare is him pointing his fingers at you with that Elvis Presley-esque smile of his. It's my personal favorite. :^)
...
What? Were you expecting a skull or something??
Another fun fact: The jumpscares were originally going to be in 3D
@@capsulecat8569and for its 3D version, it spins doing the point thingy mentioned
"the main point of a video game is to have fun right? Except Dead By Daylight" LOL
Dark souls: lol
@@SecondGenerationHumorbecause it’s hard? There are harder games out there, and it’s still fun
Can't forget the Oktoberfest secret "jumpscare"
I... can't believe I forgot

To be fair, the triple digit temperatures we had in July was pretty scary.
To get me to love a horror level in a non-horror game, I feel like it's a necessity to let me take down whatever threat that was looming over me over the entire level by way of giving me a power-up or some other method. Not because of some deep, technical reason or anything, but if a game is going to give you a middle finger by springing a horror segment on you out of nowhere, it feels really good when it lets you give one back. I think giving the player a gun during pizza time in this level was one of the best game design choices in this game. It makes me think about how much more I would have liked Vanessa's Manor if there was a segment at the end that let the player burn down the mansion or something.
4:35 if you look at that pice of papper on the floor, you would see that reads "get me out, HELP" with an drewing/image of the tomato-topping-puppet
That's another great detail! Mcpig hid so many fun things in this level
thats because its a maze drawing where you have to draw the way to the exit
My favorite horror level in a otherwise normal game is def Vanessa's Manor from A Hat in Time but Don't Make a Sound is close behind.
Don't make a sound: the funny fnaf level
Vanessas manor: the funny hello neighbor level
A HAT IN TIME MENTION JUMPING UP AND DOWN WITH JOY
God, I love this game so much. It pulls no punches with anything, even horror. When it wants to be scary or unsettling, it manages to do so while keeping the vibe of the game intact.
One fine example of this is the fourth boss fight of the game.
I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on that one.
Same! I'm in awe of the way Pizza tower can switch up the formula so often, and almost *always* hit a bullseye!
As for boss 4, it's easily the best doppelganger fight in any game I've played. Shadow mario or metal sonic are fine for their games, but I love being able to point out almost every moves origin in peppino's kit, but more twisted. It would have been my favorite boss, if Pizza face wasn't the best final boss I've ever fought
Thank you for checking out my video and this little nerd blurb of text!
@@averageboi No problem!! I’ve been really into Pizza Tower as of late (and by as of late I mean, like, since late April lol) so I thought I’d check this out. Needless to say it was really fun to watch. Great job on the video!!
Oh yeah also I agree with you on the final boss. One of the most hype moments in modern games
@@averageboiwhat pizza time remix you use? I want listen full version
@@danielscomentclub2636 this remix was found in the files of older betas of pizza tower, and unfortunately, I can't put a link to it here because RUclips won't let links in comments due to bot spam. If it helps, the thumbnail on RUclips should have fake peppino on it
@@averageboi thx man
When you kill the cheese, it becomes Swiss.
When you kill the cheese, it's neutralized.
I don't know if this is intentional or not, but it's funny either way.
P sure the swiss cheese holes are bullet holes from the shotgun
@@gabs3147look, above our heads! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the whole joke!
It might be my mushroom bias talking, but honestly the Mushroom Monster is probably my favorite Pizza Tower character. They are just so goofy and a fun design overall.
I like to call him "Mr. Mush". 🍄🤖
Just because McPig never played any fnaf game, that doesn't mean the level is not a reference. You're just assuming too much things
You forgot to talk abt the fact that we see a picture of a human with the clothes the sausage monster have, so mabybthat the sausage monster wad human
You forgot to mention that the sausage animatronic is wearing the same clothes as a human butcher seen on a poster
The kitchen makes you uneasy, bc it gives you the feeling that you're stuck, by the walls and the chesse. It's like if the cheese animatronic got you in his lair
3:34 Just because he never played doesn't mean he hasn't heard of it
I love that the animatronics are adequately scary and threatening while also having an interesting mechanic and having designs that are consistent with the wacky cartoony art style of the rest of the game
The tomato is a discount Pizzaface
13:08 yes, because i too would be quite gloomy if i was turned into something from Switzerland.
also, at 7:50 you forgot to mention all the unsafe products there.
Bro showed them the bullet of 45
The reason DMAS is my favorite level in the game because I heard of a fnaf level in the game and with the tone of the game I thought the level would mock fnaf, and I love the fnaf series, and I wasn't very excited to see it
And then the level was respecful to fnaf and I was genuinely surprised
Also Tunnely Shimbers is my favorite song in Pizza Tower and that enhanced my love for the level
2:12 YOU KILLED SNOTTY YOU MONSTER
Vanessa's Mansion
13:26 his name is pinacool
13:20 I am not the only one who calls him elvis
Wait, you're telling me that the indie game that can be as unhinged as it wants is scarier than Mario??? 🤯
that's what i'm saying lmao calling Mario horror is so silly
“You get to SHOOT your way through the mansion” is probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve heard in a literal pizza tower video
Floor 1:Cool fun easy levels and the best floor for P ranks
Floor 2:Still easy
Floor 3:The part where the game gets harder
Floor 4:The start of horror and hard levels
FLOOR 5: FUCKING NIGHTMARE
“But… lets be honest, you’re not gonna get scared playing Supef Mario”
*Gets trauma flashbacks of 6-year-old me playing that one haunted house in World 2 in New Super Mario Bros 2. on the 3ds*
Its an amazing level because i actually feel like peppino, i truly feel nothing but anxiety and stress
Dude y are you so underrated
I like how ghost house is your mario example when they have hidden actual secret ghosts in some levels
Thé best Horror Levels come from non-Horror games. It’s the perfect bait and switch.
Exactly, you never expect it and so it hits that much harder
I disagree
The creepiest level in a non scary game, is: 0-S from ultrakill (AKA something wicked) i‘ve never been more scared of a friggin stick figure
ok that one's pretty fair
i forgot the name but there was a white level with mannequins that i played at 3am and woke up all my neighbors
@@pest-alt-account you mean the level from the new violence layer?
Homestly, nintendo DID scare me once, mario wonder. The fake doors, the first time I got to one in the haunted mansion in tbe game. I almost got a heart attack because of mario never being scary, so I never expected it
How does a ghost house scare you? Just asking
It's the best because it's scarier than the original material it was based on.
Outrageous glazing levels.
BRO THE UHYEAH THUMBNAIL 😭 😭
It's
That
Good
this lowkey like that one clip of spongebob and patrick screaming on the mitten rollercoaster
The skip in Queen Vanessa’s manor is there in case you’re playing with a child who would be absolutely terrified of it
He said Mario won’t scare you but the boohemoth absolutely scarred me when I was like 5
“The thumbnail that looks most like UhYeah’s thumbnails” “IT’S THAT SIMILAR”
7:46 I thought I would never see anyone reference that movie.
I think my favorite part of DMAS is how they managed to make a stealth level while still maintaining the game's core high speed gameplay. Sure, you COULD avoid getting seen by every enemy, but it's much easier and more fun to run through in a mad dash to take everything out before those timers reach 0
13:22 "pinapelvis" 🗿
7:14 THE CHEESE!
Glad someone else finds Misty Menace an appropriate horror music track
I disagree with your opinion on the title screen of the level.
The title screen gives the player a false sense of security. They’ll think it’s goofy at first until they enter it and be like:
“Something ain’t right.”
You could make the argument that Love Town in Library of Ruina is a "scary level," as the game doesn't really do much that's scary, but then it hits you with Silent Hill style body and psychological horror and it's really well-done, I'd reccomend that
Here's a fun fact: THE SAUSAGE TOPPIN MONSTER USED TO BE A HUMAN.
(Check for pictures in the background)
Also at the start of the level you can see the cheese animatronic hanging from the ceiling
4:55 he mentioned it already
I remember that even with spoilers i had fear to this level, its so well done
10:35
Bit of precision here. This skip isn't there to avoid being bored.
It's there for people doing bad with scary stuff.
There is a mod called toppin gals that changes the monsters and makes the cheese ones actually "scary"
Young me died from Vanessa's mansion
Ain't no way he glossed over HL2 we don't go to ravenholm
14:32 HAAH NOISE GO BRRRRRRRRRRRR
It would be very funny if the game somehow tracked if you've seen that title card. Then ermanently switch it to a horror-themed one, gaslighting peoplw into wondering if that first one ever existed at all.
Btw, the pineapple animatronic is weird
Brick just eating a pizza
It's the FNAF Level; OF COURSE IT'S SCARY!!! IT'S CLEARLY BASED OFF OF FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S
The fnaf movie wasn't scary and was literally fnaf ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@averageboi It still was VERY Successful at the Box Office!!
marvel makes a shit ton of money their movies arent the most amazing thing ever
Nuh uh. Ravenholm from Half-Life 2
Can't believe you killed snotty
brick eating cheese
I agree with my dude :)
Why did the cover of the level scare me more than the title itself?
CAP! The Best Scary Level Is The E.M.M.I Zone From Metroid Dread!
A goofy thing you can do is open the hole to the first secret then come back when it's pizza time and shoot the mushroom in the secret (:
i thought they put the butcher's head in a bag, killed him, and then tried to make it look like he was a sausage instead to hide their crime. i've never played the level so tell me how well that works with the other easter eggs.
also bonus fact it still works with their premise of pizza cause while it's a nod to FNAF, Freddy's Pizzaria is well a Pizzaria...so they still did get their tie to food, it's just more subtle.
I mean, there is a poster with a human with a butcher outfit, same as the "animatronic"
No ultrakill something wicked?
2:53 i got scared playing mario when i was little, i was playing super mario world. i didn't know who any of the characters were, i was just playing on i think an older cousin's SNES. i got to iggy's castle and didn't know that worlds in video games usually end with a boss fight, so when iggy was mentioned i thought we were going to hangout or something. (edit: i don't remember if i read the points of advice or not.) the only thing i recognized was the lava, which i had seen in the underground of yoshi's island 3, and i could reasonably assume that there would be the same koopas as the other levels. i didn't understand why there were wooden stakes trying to crush me, though, and i basically got jumpscared when i went through the last door. why was i in a pitch black room? what was that weird platform i had never seen before? why was it moving? who was that guy and why did he have what i could only interpret as a devious grin on his pixelled face? i had no fucking idea. then he killed me and i never got to that part of the game until somewhat later in my life.
I wish it was uploaded on October
don’t hate on the cheese jumpscare
idk, man. Cheese is the scariest one to me. Maybe cuz it's like a blob but also an animatronic. It's like Muk from Pokemon but FNAFified
Something wicked
0:54 I think is scarier but that’s my opinion
I’m gonna be honest i didn’t notice the background elements the first time cuz i was running as fast as possible to just get out
This isn’t the granny video (the thumbnail made me think this was an uh yeah video)
remember the title point? the french translation kinda misses it, as instead of naming it "don't make a sound", it references a horror movie by naming it "Freddy vs Calzone" which does tell people that "yeah it's a scary level"...
as long as said people get the reference
I think Don't Make a Sound also clues people in to it being scary there's not that many games besides horror that involves not making sound
Why is this so underrated???
idk who would ever get scared by this tbh
2:25 finally somebody who admits dead by daylight is boring at
Someone might’ve already told you, so imma just gonna say it. Fun fact: Originally there was meant to be 3D jumpscares instead of the normal 2D drawn jumpscares. Heck even the Pineapple Elvis had a jumpscare
13:15 pelvis
It came out of nowhere as i went blind into this game, so this level genuienly made me shit myself 😂
Same with Peppino's jumpscare on the menu
I haven't watched this yet and this video is already the reason I wanna get pizza tower on my switch but I'm too broke
'343 guilty spark' is the best scary level in gaming
Oktoberfest 🍻
Cool Video. Also HaHa UhYeah Like Thumbnail
no way, tower.
Even though this is a parody of FNAF, apparently, McPig has never played FNAF and barely knows anything about it aside from reputation.
