Brandon, any word on when Shoei may be releasing the RF-1300 (or whatever the designated successor to the RF-1200 is going to be called)? IIRC the RF-1200 has been on the market since late 2012/early 2013 and is overdue for an update/redesign. I would appreciate any insight you may have, thanks.
Ha! Personally, I am a huge fan of the RF-1200 and between the two, the 1200 would get my vote. I've owned/tested a lot of lids over the past few years and the RF-1200 still beats a lot of lids out there IMO. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart...Cheers! -Brandon
Heck yeah, that's awesome! I truly believe for the cost and value of this helmet, it really is a tough one to beat. I've ridden with this lid for a few years now and I recommend it all the time. Glad to hear it's working out well for you. Keep it pinned! -Brandon
TUATS NOT CENTRIFUGAL FORCE I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW A LOT AT WORK AND ITS GREAT FOR THE MOST PART EXCEPT THAT. Centrifugal force requires spinning like a CENTRIFUGE.
The rear spoiler is “going to add some centrifugal force for you.” No it is not, and that instantly made you sound like you don’t know what you are talking about. It’s a great helmet in spite of your lack of knowledge other than regurgitating the manufacture’s features.
Good catch. The term should have been "downward force". We were just chatting about wheel weights, balancing tires, and lacing wheels prior to this shoot. The term "Centrifugal force" came up a lot and I think that got stuck in my head. Ride safe! -Brandon

How’s the wind noise with this helmet. Looking at this one or the HD freeway helmet.
