To this day, the best "value" phone Samsung has ever made.
I 100% agree with you.. especially because nowadays even budget mobiles doesn't offer expandable storage, and for those that offer it they go upto a maximum of 512GB Micro SD storage expansion compatibility, compared to the S20FE's 1TB exoansion..and seeing that flagship phones just come with 256GB non expandable storage nowadays, even if they have the latest processor, camera technology etc, they are rendered completely useless
Been using it for 3 years and still running great for my needs. Gonna need to swap the battery though cause it no longer able to last me a day.
I got mine used/ refurbished a year ago, and still love it. I've not had any issues with battery or anything else. It does everything I need it to and does it well. I dropped it and broke the screen last night so I've been looking at options as far as fixing or upgrading. I can get another one for less or about the cost of the screen replacement, not counting labor, so fixing it doesn't seem a good choice. Bottom line is I think I'm going to get another one over upgrading to the S21 or newer that have either tiny improvements or super high cost.
Been using the Sharp Aquos R5G with almost the same specs as the S20FE..so I'd say yeah it is still good to go device in 2024..the peformance is smooth all the way..minus the battery life tho on my Aquos..as it got only 3700mah battery..gaming maybe not so much a yes it got the power but..since it was made slim so the cooling kinda meh..okay for casual and normal usage..gaming only when you have some sort of external cooling for it..might wanna get either this one or Sony Xperia 1 II next for colection purpose.. probably skipped LG V60 as it only got 128gb version..
Good day day watched almost all your vids from budget 150$-200$, but still can't decide which i would get for a longer time use with minimal issue, I've comflicted btw the s10 plus, s20 fe and the s21 fe
I still got mine as a back up phone! Still reliable, the camera is still superb especially the OIS. Good hardware and that SD card support 😄👍🏻

@@genzboomer-sv3pl S22 ultra is my daily driver. I also use it for mobile games since the chipset is more capable while I use my S20 FE for browsing, watching, and reading articles and such

The ONLY problem I had was the overheating just when doing normal operations, and when I did emulation you could tell the cpu/gpu would throttle hard. When I replaced the battery I put thermal paste between the graphite tape from the cpu to the screen which did help a lot on the thermal throttling .
S20FE 5g user since 2020 here. No screen issues whatsoever. Phone still works perfectly and looks like day one. Second Battery now at 87%. Thinking about buying Xperia 1 VI because of zoom and insane battery life
So I had this as a back up phone for a while. It was my job phone then they gave us a S22 and told me to keep that one. O just got rid of it a couple of days ago. T-Mobile gave me 500 for it as a trade in for my wife's Pixel 8 pro.

The comparison between the regular s20 vs the FE were always interesting because the FE did sound "weaker" on paper but in real life comparisons, both phones were exactly the same but just different screen resolutions. What interested people the most was that the s20 fe had much better camera detail than the regular s20 which made people think "samsung did this on purpose to get the money and compete against other phone brands with flagship specs but at a low price" and Samsung did well! It has been said the s20 fe was literally a mini s20 ultra lol and i see it to be honest. The s20fe also beat the s21 in terms of camera most of the time too. S20 series were a gem.
S20 design was last peak samsung. If it had a headphone jack on all the models, it would’ve been the last “true” samsung.

In Europe it had a better chip, there was no reason to get the regular S20

I never saw that on a s20fe. I think that is only on curved displays which the fe doesn't have
Anybody ever tried using Micro SD card adapters or flashdrives that connect to usb type C to view and transfer files to the SD card?
I know it's not the exactly the same thing as having the slot in your phone, but does it still help in some aspects, or is it just a plain hassle?

though the iphone has better performance especially if you're a gamer but it not that the s20 fe is bad it a very good performer too. battery display and camera versatility s20fe is better(iphone 11 has a LCD dispaly not oled). you can't go wrong on anyone you go cuz they'll all serve you as you want. but for me I'll chose s20fe cuzi just don't like IOS.
also if you're going for S20FE,go for the 8GB RAM variant cuz the 6GB RAM variant isn't that good in heavy multitasking or you can go for galaxy note 10 plus it's 12GB RAM 256GB ROM
Used it for over 3 years, since february 2021. Great smartphone, the best I’ve ever had in terms of durability and longevity - gave it to my mom and still works well.

I had this phone for a while till it couldn't update to andriod 13 it was stuck on 12 so I ditch Samsung and got a iPhone 13 that works a lot better
Watching on my S20 FE though I got the Exynos version...still supported but the battery life has been horrendous over time... Cameras and performance are better than midrange phones of today so I'll keep it until it dies😊

@@artur89898 well on terms of display they are the same but the s23 fe has large bezels comparing it with the s 21 fe.However, the s23 fe has a better cpu which gives it the ability to handle heavy tasks in the other hand the s21 fe has also a good cpu not bad at all.To conclude, both of these phones are good if you have a higher budget ,and you are a heavy user go for the s23 fe but if you have a lower budget ,and you are casual user you can buy the s21 fe.
