    I didn’t like the front design when I first saw the crown models but it has grown on me. Also having only 6 speakers on the “base” trim of any car feels like a crime, they should start with at least 8 cuz now now I might have to step up to the limited trim unless if there’s an extra package for the XLE that adds in more/JBL speakers cuz I need solo music sessions unless if my friends would like to join.

    I actually prefer the XLE. I think that the panoramic roof is a total waste of money. I like the rims better on the XLE too. I wish that they offered an interior color choice. The black interior is BORING. The brown is okay, but a lighter color overall would be easier on the eyes. I am nearly 70 and finding things in a black interior. Also dust shows badly. I had rain sensing wipers on my 2011 Avalon and I hope that these work better.

    My past experiences with 19"wheels vs 21" wheels tells me the 19" wheels provide a more comfortable ride and absorb road imperfections easily whereas the 21" wheels do not provide that and transmit the jarring bumps to the passenger compartment. Great video. Great job introducing the Signia. I don’t understand Toyota’s lineup with this. It’s actually more premium than the Lexus NX which has a lot of cheap materials. However, the prices are roughly comparable. It’s not the Venza “replacement” either. Venza had more standard features that are options on the Signia. There’s also roughly a $10k difference between the trims.

    I have driven the ‘25 Crown Signia Limited for about a month now. Approximately 700 miles. I have the same observation with the torque. The engine “feels” like a V6 when you are driving in Normal and Sport Drive mode. The full-time AWD does feel like you are actually in an SUV. Turning radius is very good, if I have to compare this to my previous 2016 Avalon. The seat is comfortable and we have been stuck in traffic with it. I hope that Toyota will come out with the “Platinum” model and maybe add the power steering column, HUD and maybe the retractable roof. I have been only using 91 octane for fuel and I have been getting 35mpg City and 42 mpg HWY.
    My only complaint is the manual steering column and no roof racks/accessories.

      Same for the LC250. They’re trying to cash in on their image for reliability, and it’s all happening as Toyota is recalling their TTV6 engines in the Tundra and LX600. All the factories around the world that have built Toyota’s TTV6, Japan ones included, have their engines recalled.
      …Toyota is cashing in on their name sadly. The whole industry is going to crap.

    Is torque only 178lbs?

    • @jml9550
      @jml9550 3 месяца назад +1

      The torque # is misleadinga d don’t tell the whole story. The acceleration is really driven by the electric motors, not the engine. We have a Lexus NX350h and it is surprisingly quick off the line for a 2.5L 4.

      We have a NX350h. There is no way it is as roomy inside as this Crown S. Your Venza is comparable to the NX and this crown is comparable to the RX I terms of interior room.
