    Easy, Crown Signia because made in Japan.

    I am leaning towards the Crown Signia. They are very similar in features, but I could save a little money if I drive the Crown Signia.

    I am surprised that the vast majority of these comparisons fail to do an interior dimension comparison.

    I would always choose a wagon over a crossover for ride quality, simplicity, fuel economy and lower price (also, without unuseful sunroof (for better structural stability) and leather interior ( hot in summer and cold in winter)

      I have the 2013 Venza Limited. Have functional sunroof and moonroof. Never use either. I'm also not completely sold on the leather seats. Cloth won't burn you arse in the southern summers. And hate the big wheels, wrecked a tire sensor hitting a pothole.

    Signia all the way... except I want it in Plug In... Japan has Plug In Signia, so bring it to the U.S. and it'll be a huge hit for sure

    Love my 2023 Venza which has all the features over either of these two. Never understood why it was so short-lived. Yes:cargo limitations and no pulling a trailer load.

    • @RosyMapleMoth55
      @RosyMapleMoth55 Месяц назад

      The Crown Signia is replacing it for the two reasons you named: cargo and hauling. Crown is more like the 1st Gen. Venza in cargo space than Gen.2 Venza and more towing capacity than either Gen.1 or Gen.2 Venza. Along with all that beautiful luxury that was lacking in Gen.1 Venza. Ppl that travel more want the x-tra room and hauling capacity. And definitely the luxury!

    These are both smooth rides.
    Signia best bang for the buck.
    If I had a diva of a wife, I'd go for the Lexus.
    Otherwise I'd probably go for 4-Runner or Passport.

    just got a Signia XLE, very silent inside till you push the accelerator for extra pick up, makes that sporty engine sound. But silent overall. It's been a week since driving it and current average is 32 miles in city highway combo. The interior is plush and the sound system is OK (6 speakers in the XLE trim) .

    Are there any issues if this hybrid car is parked for 2 or 3 months in a hot garage near 100° while away on a long vacation?

    I love this comparison video. I hope you make an updated one of these two cars again in about 3-5 years when I’m ready to purchase a new car as soon as my car dies.
    Also I hope the signia gets an increase in mpg up to 45-55 in 5 years. For a hybrid, 38 is way too low

      These are 2 ton (4 kip) cars. You won't get Prius (3 kip) like fuel economy.
      Rav4 is 500 lbs lighter. Helps fuel economy some.
      If the Crown sedan was a lift back it would be higher on my list. Sedan shape helps fuel economy. My minivan covers my wagon needs.

    None need a panoramic sunroof to make it feel airy, just ditch the dark headliner ! We have a 2020 RX450H which has been disappointing in a few areas. Wind/road noise ,Audio system is mediocre compared to my 2020 Ram pickup. Also we just purchased a 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige in Florida and it is hands down a much better than the RX. Tried a 24 RX hybrid and gas only and were not impressed. Likely will trade the RX for a KIA or Hyundai

    Lexus all the way.. no HUD on the Crown. No retractable moonroof on the Cowwn. Low clearance o the Crown - more like a station wagon. Not what I am looking for. The Crown signia is a poor replacement for the discontinued Venza which had HUD, greater clearance and retractable rood. I own a 2015 Venza- best car but it's time to trade up after 10 years and 110k miles.
    The Crown Signia only has 3 exterior color choices and 2 interior - not much of a replacement for the Venza. I am afraid...

      I have been waiting on the Crown Signia for 2 years. But seeing that it only has one low-mounted headlight per side -- that may be a deal-breaker. If it does not have excellent night-lighting I will go with a Volvo or Lexus.

    Lexus is ugly on the outside and boring on the inside. Two tenths of a second faster and requires premium fuel as well as less mpg average. I think Toyota kicked itself in the tailgate for its premium brand.

      Toyota Crown Signia for me! Even if you opt for the Limited version of the Toyota, you are still looking at a price tag that is $6,300 less than the comparable RX350h, and the Lexus is ugly. Plus the Crown Signia offers 23 cubic feet more cargo capacity than the Lexus when both vehicles have their rear seats folded flat.

    It's just that the RX is one of worst exterior designs on sale today. It's a tasteless mess of unnecessary shapes and creases - bad design by definition.
    This new Crown Signia, is quite nice looking, surprising for a Toyota product. Both have too much front overhang.
    The RX looks especially dorky with its front wheels practically under the windshield. I wish the Signia had an optional engine upgrade.

    • @canto_v12
      @canto_v12 2 месяца назад +1

      It feels like the design committees decided that Lexus had built some "brand equity" in its RX buyers, enough that they didn't want to disturb some design elements from the prior generation. The swooping C/D pillar window treatment still clashes with the relatively angular body lines. The C pillar is still totally disjointed and stylistically irrelevant to the rest of the car, and also irrelevant to the swooping window behind it.
      The NX is a much better-looking car.
