I have the same issue. I've found that using a grinder to cut along the back of the tile first to essentially reduce the tile thickness from 10mm to 5mm and then score and snap works. No chipping.
Hey, You need a diamond grit grinding wheel. I used this one from harbor freight. www.harborfreight.com/4-12-in-turbo-rim-wet-or-dry-cut-diamond-saw-blade-57534.html
The grinder definitely makes some dust. I always wear a P100 respirator mask and safety glasses when using the grinder. It's possible to either set up a shop-vac or get a rig with the vacuum built in to collect dust as it's produced.
Excellent. I'm dealing with cutting just a few porcelain tiles and opted for the angle grinder . I like the idea of scoring the tile first

That's a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
I’ve ended up hiring someone with the big machine to do it for me, got beautiful cuts with hardly any chipping
Thank u! Super helpful
Glad it was helpful!

How does the grinder make no dust? When I cut there is dust going everywhere.

You have to just hit it not push it down
