      It’s been one of my favorite parts of the build so far, but also the most work in one piece to date👍

    That is super cool and very clean looking. You attention to even the smallest of details is ridiculous. 🎉

    Hey I work on and own and love these 3cylinder 998cc engine , but as soon as you can I know of a problem part that can cause serious engine "Misfire" it is the P.T.O shaft that drives in your case the Prop gearing. Replace it with a "Speedwerx" PTO complete shaft and bearing pops out quickly. You will thank me later, I love watching your build. It is a problem part under a load will flex and wobble causing a terrible unsafe vibration. The new one acts like a Harmonic balancer and has a tighter clearances fitting spline.

      Appreciate the tip and for following along! I’ll look into that👍

    You have a winner. Liking the cowl a lot. Wondering if you'll mount it, and roll it out of the shop to get an overall perspectives of how it blends with the rest of the airplane.

      I’m just as anxious as you to get it outside and really see how it looks! I’ve got my plans on mounting everything so stay tuned to see how that turns out. Some times the details change as the build progresses so you’ll just have to wait and see! Thanks for watching and engaging, it’s always a pleasure to talk with you👍

    Is that a Milwaukee oscillating tool your using to cut the cowl?

    Nice job again Josh. Do you know how much the cowl weighs yet?

    • @Project2Aero
      @Project2Aero  Год назад +1

      It doesn’t weigh much at the moment, but I still have more work to do in it. I’ll make sure to get it weighed when I get done🤷🏻‍♂️

    Bro, I don’t mean to be a nanny but you should be wearing gloves and a rated dust mask as a bare minimum when cutting, grinding, or sanding carbon fibre. The stuff is deadly! Seriously.

      @@Jack-ne8vm that would be much better. Apparently carbon fibre particles are so fine and sharp that they can enter your body via the skin! I always sand, file or grind carbon fibre under a stream of running water. That seems to work very well and keeps everything clean.
