How to dye your leather seats red with good results will attach all links below here. Super bummed I broke my hand so won’t be able to do the front seats till the new year most likely. Get the air brush if you plan to do this! Major key is the sealant if you want it to last & not bleed. Be sure not to go too heavy w the resoline.

This is what Infiniti should've done as part of the Red Sport Option. I had a 2010 G37XS Anniversary Edition with Monaco Red Seats. I added Red Carbon Fiber Dash Trim.

just bought the whole kit for my g. i got 3 coats on everything except for my driver seat which is in my car still. i chose BMW estoril blue. Love the results so far

Works the same on sport interior just apply even n use needle for the holes if you clog them

Nice video that red is a very good look ...just an FYI most people with Q50 think they have a premium, fact is they have a base model with navigation, which has "faux leather" seats ...ALL premium model Q50's have real leather seats, premium seats have preforated holes in the seats like the sport seats they just dont have the leg support like the sport model. Thats how you know if you have a premium or not, also cameras in side mirrors & front grille
Only sport models got real leather perforated. Base/premium is fake leather
@@CRTFD_G 100% wrong ...real premiums have real leather seats with preforated holes in them just as sport seats do (they just dont have the leg support as sport seats do) ...if your seats are smooth with no preforated holes its not real leather & its NOT a premium, premiums also have electric steering rack, 360 cameras & front & rear parking sensors ...if it dont have these options its NOT a premium ive rebuilt more than 50 salvage Q50's since 2014
Okay wow just learned that in the Q50’s they had an “upgraded real leather” seats option. So I stand corrected. I’ve personally never seen one yet tho
@@CRTFD_G all good bro, ive had a few of them already the real leather option you mainly see in 14-15, they get more rare 16, but honestly the faux leather holds up better

Most videos I’ve seen they say from black to red takes about 10-13 coats
I’m doing this on my e90 as we speak and I’m on coat 8 and I’ll probably do 11-12 coats

You would need an air brush for sure for sport seats !

I love the 2014 Q50 sport model front ends more than the signature edition front ends. But I like the signature rear end way more
This is a 2014-2017 Rear End & 2018+ Sport front end
Any tips? I did this and after 3 months the dye started to peel off my seats. Idk what I did wrong. I put about 6-7 coats.

I would trust any of there dyes. It’s all by manufacturer so scroll thru the brands n see if they make a red you like

Just until it’s dry to the touch.

I bought the air brush to apply top coat. I did not have one when I did first dye

Where did you get the Front lip and how many coats did you do if you know ?
Front lip from eBay & no clue on coats, it was a lot
