Wonderful! Just got my 2024 Nismo a month or so ago. I plan on getting a EcuTek dyno tune and an awe touring exhaust. What’s your thoughts on that? I won’t track my car or anything I just want some extra power and a better sounding exhaust. Will I need a better heat exchanger with these mods?

If you are getting it tuned and running an exhaust, I highly recommend doing lower downpipes as well. The lower downpipe to the stock tail pipe is 1.75" and should be replaced together to get the most out of your tune. This car has full downpipes and exhaust and is also ECUTEK tuned.
@@peterbiviano747I really recommend the borla exhaust, I have a vr30 with the borla s type and it has the v6 rumble at low rpm’s. It’s by far the best exhaust, and I really recommend the borla attack when it comes out for the z.
I've owned 2 maximas so I love Nissans VQ engines. But for 60k+ this is what a Nismo should come as. And nissan has to offer a manual or dual clutch. Beautiful car!
He's right, they are selling for several K under MSRP because the car wasn't what we thought it might be. An M2 you can have full leather, adaptive suspension, 18 way power seats, better tech and stereo, etc, etc.
I agree. I would much rather get a M2 or RS3 for mid-60's if I ever decide to trade in my custom ordered 1320. Now if there was a way to bundle those mods in the payment and still be under warranty...but still not perfect as it lacks decent color options and really should get something with awd for NW Ohio winters.
Very cool car and i think people are missing that this is easily a daily driver where the GTR is absolutely not great daily. The maintenance costs i eat up are insane, not to mention if you have to replace something serious like a trans etc...

The OEM nismo suspension and nismo coils are very similar. The primary difference is the nismo coils allow you to adjust dampening and height. The OEM nismo shocks on here are very stiff, great for track but could be harsh for the daily commuter.
I used to own a 1974 Datsun 260Z. It was IMPOSSIBLE to find parts for back in the 1980's.I bought it for $900.00. The prices of the new Z's are insane. That goes for just about every car these days. I thought about buying one. But, I just can't justify the price.

Great video! Got my 2018 370Z Nismo brand new, love it for the style. Did some mods, Stillen Gen 3 longtubes, AAM cat deletes and a performance tune above the standard Nismo factory. LOVE IT. I just can't get past the Z front "lego brick" - Boaty Mc Boatface look or lack of junk in the trunk that the 370Z Nismos have. The new Z Nismo, improved a bit on the stock, but I'm not love'n the style. Not to mention the price and most importantly, no M6

Worlds apart. The Z32 on stock wheels/tires was a comfy GT driver, but handling on track would get circles run around it, even by the 350Z. The 370 was even better and this would demolish it.
Daily drove my Fairlady Z TT for 3 years, just got a 2023 performance z. The driver safety’s on the new z lets you push it without feeling out of control but on stock suspension with the electric steering driving feels very vague and you can feel the car float around curves and turns. It’s definitely a faster car but the z32 feels more raw and connected, assuming yours also has coilovers the z32 feels way more planted and responsive, about to buy the nismo coils and some sway bars for the new z so hopefully that buckles it down some.
I’m absolutely gunning for one of these in passion red within the next year or two! Just letting them depreciate for 1-2 years because I can’t justify the prices of these new.

No, same turbos from base to nismo. Nismo comes with different suspension and brakes, as well as a more aggressive tune. There is also some cosmetic differences, front grill, rear spoiler...

The auto is very quick on shifting, way faster than a human could be. That's what I tell myself to cope with having an automatic race car haha. Plus I have the z31 if I wanna play with a fidget stick.
Shouldve been a regular Z. You can get a used 2023 Z for about 35-40k. Buy some good tires, add better coil susp add a cold air intake and youre at under 4.9 sec 0-60 and 450+ hp depending on how yoi tune it. All this for under $50k USD.
I mean if anything they should’ve called them a 300z or just go back to the classic 300zx since it is a 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo. Just like the beautiful 90’s legend 300zx twin turbo.
If that car got the weight down to 3200 lbs from the 3700 pounds it is, it would be a complete animal on the street. My cousin has a old 02 z06 that had 500hp 500tq crank hp and it weighed just over 3000 lbs with bigger tires than yours and it would haze the tires until you hit 80mph. Weight is HP. But it is still an amazing car. Love the color.
I dunno why other than my mind is super saturated by the Amuse 380RS body kit but sitting here wishing they make an add on body kit to Nismo models like the 380RS (which that adds onto the Nismo 350Z)
I like it but it needs power seats option for those that want it, full leather for those that want it, has to have adaptive suspension so you can daily drive it as well. Maybe it should be widened like BMW does its cars rather than just putting stick on fender flares.

Only reason why I would get A Nissan Z over a Supra. Well first E brake. Supra is button while the Z is a hand brake. Second the price. 6 speed Z vs 6 speed Supra. Supra more expensive
Automatics have been faster than manual for a long time. The love for manual is less about speed and more about enjoyment. I prefer auto for a daily but for my car car I like the manual(Z4 35i).
It's not about shifting fast. It's about the entire driving experience of a sports car. These new cars are kind of boring (tamed) even with 500hp, take away the gearbox and third pedal and after a few pulls becomes numb and boring
Gonna miss true manual car!!! Not saying that with new and better technology they aren't great. Will miss manual rocking the transmission thru the gears!
You could literally get 750whp on stock internals and trans with the z my guy. No supra can do that in stock trans, and it cost 10k to upgrade the trans.
My thoughts. Supra is significantly cheaper than the Z and it’s faster out the box and you could see 500-600 hp relatively easy with a Supra you really don’t need past 500hp for a street/track car past 600 without heavy suspension mods car will fall apart on the track and only he roll racer. Internet makes everybody think it’s about hp and torque

Buy a lightly used 370z. Lots of almost no miles cars for 1/2 price of new. Fantastic car to daily.

In the new cars you're assisted by electronics and good luck if you happen to burn through a clutch which can be costly.

You could literally get 750whp on stock internals and trans with the z my guy. No supra can do that in stock trans, and it cost 10k to upgrade the trans.

My thoughts. Supra is significantly cheaper than the Z and it’s faster out the box and you could see 500-600 hp relatively easy with a Supra you really don’t need past 500hp for a street/track car past 600 without heavy suspension mods car will fall apart on the track and only he roll racer. Internet makes everybody think it’s about hp and torque
