@@vtier9375 Back in 0.47, a demon master was one of the toughest fights an adventurer could possibly face. I don't know how bad it is in 0.50. Good luck.

It's difficult! There are so many problems. Sometimes troops won't return from battle, Demons are hard to kill, and goblins are cheaters. I had ~110 Steel Dwarfs I used to cut down populations, but occasionally I did need to go into adventure mode to finish the last few. Best tip I have is that Legendary Fully Armored dwarfs are little tanks. Get 100+ of them and you can destroy a lot.
@Glibling4 it will be a lot harder and you'll take more losses. you can trade for flux, though it is tedious. You can also buy steel from the trader and melt it. You could mix and match if steel is too hard to get, but the more steel the more better.

Most of it happens. I roleplay some stuff. Like, the king didn't build the new fortresses, I did, I clicked the new fortress button. I arrogantly plopped it. The leg race and wrestling comp happened. The Demon came to the dwarven fort, entered their wrestling comp, won, and then went back to leading armies and destroying their kingdom.

@vtier9375 do you think high quality iron armour is enough? I have no flux stone on my map so I can only afford steel weapons

It's buggy. Not everything exports. It doesn't export all the height data, for example, so you cant use isoworld yet.
