Dutch V100 Stelvio PPF owner here. The original wind screen is way to small, and makes the stelvio quite uncomforable for tall rider at me at 100komh+ speeds. Luckaliy he GIVI D8208ST screen makes a massive difference in wind protection. I also added a MRA X touring spoiler screen large to further reduce turbulence. I do recommend de high seat for tall riders. I absolutely love the seating postiion, the engine rumble and howling noises, the looks, on-road handling, (never done off-road) , the wide mirrors, the smooth throtlle response. I do have the PPF, it works, it is not perfect. But if it ever warns me of something I have overlooked, it is worth it IMHO. Super annoying it does not have a button for warning lights... such a weird omission, and I do still miss self canceling blinkers. Really quirky that these features are missing on such a capable and expensive bike. Wou;d I buy again: without doubt. The comfort levels and ergonomics for tall riders (after GIVI+MRA windscreen and higher seat upgrade) is really fantastic. It almost feel llike you are riding a cruiser (position and sound), but in a way way sportier and much more capable bike.
No self cancelling blinkers is bad and doesn’t exist on the Mandello either….but what I noticed on my Mandello is if you leave the blinkers on for a longer time, >6 blinks if I remember right, it actually turns off atomatically!!! Very strange!!!??? Why not do it after 3 blinks?
Yes agree, My Mandello indicators cancel after 500 meters or circa 20 seconds, and no way of adjusting in diagnostic either. like my 2 Bmw that offer 5 sec or 15 sec option in gs 911.
Mandello s owner here. Since you owned the mandello s and tried the stelvio did you noticed any improvement to the gear shifting into first gear and the way it quickshifts from 1st to third gear? I think this is the only negative thing i can say about the mandello s after riding it 6.000 km.
Agree with everything you said, it's a great bike, except for the suspension. It's very basic, harsh and doesn't give me confidence in the corners. Fortunately I only use this bike for relaxed touring, so it doesn't matter too much. I expect they will offer the active suspension soon.
The only thing I don't like about the look is the motor and gearbox should be black. I'm guessing they will do that as an update. I wish somebody would do a review of this bike with the factory hard cases. It's a great touring machine and it would be nice to see one set up that way.
hahaha. Thank you! I have ridden about 14 hours in total in this bike. But I do a lot of reviews in a year, and ride a lot of bikes so I don't need a lot of time on a bike to get to know it's short term strong and weak points. I always recommend long term reviews or owner reviews to get good picture of a bike, although that takes some time with new models of course.
The bike looks like directly taken out of the showroom. I guess you didn't even ride it for 1'000 km. That's not a review, that's just plain promotion. 😂

Original windscreen here, working fine for me but I am only 1.79cm tall.

The music is to loud
I have the same impression but!!! my tank has started leaking and third month waiting for service!!!
I was torn between the stelvio and mandello, went for the mandello in the end, but I do keep thinking about the stelvio
The Mandello is better looking, but I think the stelvio is a better ride!
Nice review..
Could you please make a review for aprilia Tuareg 660
Thanks
Next season!

Good question! Exactly the same! It has always been pretty agricultural

Он подойдёт для новичка?Мне 54.
Absolutely!
Find it difficult to understand how you can make a review after such little time. Great video nevertheless. Ps no cappuccino after 12

@@droommotor I see thanks for the answer. I rode this bike too and really enjoyed it. Love the fact its so different and has an amazing engine
You are 187cm? Ok, the bike is big then. It looks smaller on pictures
Yes I am! It is not a small bike.

It's a demo bike. I have ridden it about 400k. But also was the owner of the V100 mandello.
Stupid repeating music
