Hi, I'm watching from Haiti, I really like it when you use real coconut, because anything with coconut, I'm in. Thanks a lot and bring us more. Pleaaaase.
As a displaced Nuyorican in Oklahoma, I love to use your recipes to bring a taste of home. I have missed your videos but I hope that you and your loved ones are blessed.
So happy you are back. My dad use to use a screw driver and the mallet from the pylon to get the water out of the coconut. LOL. And to crack the coconut, he would put it in the oven at high heat until it cracked. Out of all of my siblings, I am the only one who can cook Puerto Rican food. My Mom and Dad were great cooks and taught me well. My husband who is Italian rather I make him a good plate of rice and beans over pasta!
yasssssss! we need more boricua videos. i see all thee korean channels, thai, italian, bbq etc pero what about us? our food is poppin and its good for your soul. KEEP IT UP!
Love you guys!! I’ve adopted you as my brothers from Queens! I learned who my father is as an adult and he is from PR (I grew up with a white mom in NJ), so I watch your videos to learn to cook traditional dishes for my PR fiancé and family! So far you’ve taught me to cook arroz con gandules, Arroz con pollo, sancocho, and flan! I can’t wait to try this! Mucho gracias mi hermanos!!! Would LOVE a good recipe for Sobao! We’re in SC and only get good bread if we go to FL!
Nacho Mama , sorry to say but Florida does not have good bread unless it's made with bottle water my sister has been there for 32yrs now and when she comes to NYC she brings bread back especially bakery quality, water in Florida is not the greatest that's why bread is not very good.
It's a joy watching your videos. Not only does it teach us how to cook. It teaches us how to cook with Love. Thank you for putting in the hard work and love. It is truly appreciated.
I ran into this RUclips channel I am so amazed. I have some Puerto Rican background. But was never taught how to cook Puerto Rican food. You have made me feel confident to attempt to try your recipes. The only one I can’t tackle Pasteles. Since I only cook for myself. Thank you I am a fan now lol

You can use a meat tenderizer tool to open the coconut.
The word is inventive.
I wonder if you can put the coconut in the hot oven for a few minutes?
Lol... to funny! Put your weave on the table and keep it moving!
You guys are so funny! Did someone drink the coquito before shooting this vid? LOL Thanks so much for showing us how to make authentic Puerto Rican food! (Gringo here from Tennessee.)
