LOVELY! 3411 Heaven Media, you are a CLASSIC! Govee made some DECENT LED lighting products over the years and that RGBIC light strip you demonstrated was just the start. I LOVED the way you demonstrated the built in effects on the app. Let's have some more videos from you please

@@3411HeavenMedia I dont know about OP but I can be sure because of logic: The power and ground of the LEDs are connected in parallel, which means if one is broken, the others are not affected. So every LED will still get power. But the data line that tells each LED what color it should light up is connected in series, meaning that if one LED (the data line of one LED) breaks, the other won't get the signal and therefore the lights will not turn on. They will have power, but they will not receive the instruction to turn on and therefore will remain off.

So could I hang this LED at the top of my wall (like how you did in this video) without a cord running from the outlet up the wall, or is that just inevitable?
@@3411HeavenMedia sorry I forgot to add this to the original comment, but how long is the normal cord that the LED’s are attached to? Like will the normal non-led cord stretch to the ceiling from my outlet without having to attach the LEDs to the lower end of the wall so it can reach the top?
Hmm I think it should, the controller is in the middle of the cord. Mine didn’t work out that way since I was 5ft or so to the right of the outlet instead of right above it.
So questions I can't seem to find answers to in the comments: 1. Do these also display WW (warm white+white) or just W? 2. Can these be cut to a preferred length? 3. @@3411HeavenMedia I dont know about OP but I can be sure because of logic:
The power and ground of the LEDs are connected in parallel, which means if one is broken, the others are not affected.
Are these lights worth the buy? Also what are these argb lights that people are talking about? Which is better?
Personally, I would say that they are a decent buy. You can see from all their reviews that most people that they are satisfied. You can probably find a better value out there, but these are just really popular. Don't forget to subscribe and join the 3411 Heaven Fam :)
@@3411HeavenMedia ok subscribed thanks!
Btw, ARGB stands for addressable RGB, which basically means every individual LED can be a different color at the same time. RGB-IC is technically addressable, but instead of addressing each LED, it addresses sections of LEDs.
So don’t cut at all because I might to fit them in my room
Good plan, please consider subscribing :)
quick question, ive been looking for LED lights with the meteor shower option but i ever find any, does this one by any chance have it? perhaps DIY is open to the option?
I believe their latest ones have the meteor shower effect. We did a video on those as well!

when I went to the link it says minger led lights. Does this one also have the ic effect? I really have a keyboard and I love the wave effect but most led light strips out there are like solid colors. I will order these led strips and hopefully they have the rainbow wave effect
Yes, the ones I have linked are still the IC. Govee just goes under Minger as well. How do you like them so far? Don't forget to subscribe and join the 3411 Heaven Fam! We would love to have you!
I thought you were Luke from Modern Family for a second there..
This is an honor!
So could I hang this LED at the top of my wall (like how you did in this video) without a cord running from the outlet up the wall, or is that just inevitable?
It’s inevitable, I just hid mine in the corner.
So it's a strip of WS2811 LEDS that have been around since 2012? 🤣 Come back when you have RGBAWUV leds that do the same thing...
We were planning on saving the RGBXRAY for 2023...could release sooner but tbh I don't think the world is ready 🤷♂️
So questions I can't seem to find answers to in the comments:
1. Do these also display WW (warm white+white) or just W?
2. Can these be cut to a preferred length?
3. Can multiple stips of the same type/brand be connected?
4. Is it Google and Alexa compatible?
5. Does it come with a wireless remote control (like other rgbw or rgbww strips)
6. Is there a better product out on Amazon or Aliexpress (or whatever) since this video was released lol?
7. Do you have a rgbic/argb for exterior use suggestion?

4. Not these ones, but the WiFi version.
5. No just app and wall mount controller.
6. These have the best app interface, but not the best hardware.
8. We did one outdoor set, but not particularly.

How good is the white one the strip Most importantly? I've got smart RGBs everything's basically the same apart from its one colour at a time but who wants rainbow LEDs 🌈 all at once really I'd have no use for them I'm needing a good white light on them! Having them on all day n night in a Burplre blue's uvs etc but heck they get so irritating at nights simulated white I just heard oh well not for me!
5:36 j just realized that u're on a green screen
Gotcha! :)
Wow they look amazing! Do they connect together if you you have to use 2 or more of these?
You can control them both from the same app, but I’m not sure if they sync. I wish I had two sets to try it out.
Like if you only come here out of curiosity but ended up buying them .... I'm such a easy target

Do these have any bright spots, when it shines the led shines on your wall are there any spots brighter than others?
Hmm I will have to do some closer analysis to give this a good answer... looking to get these for a certain project?

@@3411HeavenMedia I’m just looking for something for my room, but I think that a lot of LED light strips look tacky because of the light isn’t evenly distributed.

I’m assuming you can still do a single color of you want like the original tiktok lights?
Of course!
I have a question, I want to get rgbic strip lights but they don’t come more than 35 ft. I need like 45 ft but no one sell them so what should I do

Whaaat 2 days ago, i just build my setup and was looking to get some rgb led, seems im going with these only down side is there’s too many gover leds so idk which ones are good or not, also do i need alexa pr google home for these or a phone works fine?
If the ones in our video look good to you, go ahead and try them :) You do _not_ need Alexa or Google Assistant, just a phone with Bluetooth! Also, please consider subscribing 😀
Is there that rainbow mode on the regular Govee rgb wifi strip lights?
If it’s not listed in the app I would say no, but they do make a WiFi version that is RGBIC though if you want that feature. Don’t forget to subscribe and join the 3411 Heaven Fam, we’d love to have you :)
the amazon link doesn't work anymore, what other variant should i go for thats still available?

Thank you for your fast reply, once you programmed the sunrise and sunset on leds do i need a contious connection from my app to the strip OR once programmed no more need to have application running on my phone so the app will write a permanent code to keep the sun simulation running on the strip?
I think it keeps it going I disconnected my Bluetooth and it still turned on at the scheduled time.
Can I cut this strip to a certain length or will it cause the strip to stop working?
can i cutt them if i want them shorter?

Does it work with Apples HomeKit?
Wait do these stick to the wall because they seems like they are kinda hanging
I didn't use the back adhesive, only held on by clips. That is why they are hanging.

So it's just the cheap RGB lights are upgrading? Any decently priced leds can do this
Any decently priced RGBIC I see lights can do this... not just any old LEDs. Govee has one of the better apps that I have used in combination with the RGBIC strips. Definitely better tech out there at this point, just more expensive!
Could you connect a 32 foot one and a 16 foot one together?
You could control them both on the app and then group them, but they don’t sync up for music mode. Does that make sense?
