Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, originally released as Fierce Turtle Ninja Legend (Gekikame Ninja Den?) in Japan and later as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in Europe, is a 1989 platform game for the Famicom/NES.The game was released in Japan through Konami themselves, then in North America through Konami's Ultra Games imprint, followed by a release through the European equivalent, Palcom Software, in PAL regions.This was the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game, and is based on the 1987 TV series, which was in its third season at the time of the game's original release, although the art style more resembles the original TMNT comic series.The game was ported to various home computer platforms in 1990; the original NES version was ported to Nintendo's PlayChoice-10 arcade

I don't care if this was terribly difficult, the music always was fantastic!
Tmnt on nes was a work of genius from the game play the soundtrack and box art pure mutatnt ninja genius the design team hit a home run especially considering the tech at the time, same for Tmnt2 but they are very different games still fun to play every now and then

It is sad how despite playing so well it took twice as much as a good Leo/Donnie playthrough because you have to keep looking for pizza and avoiding some enemies.

Technodrome on first Foot Clan door? This guy has both skill and luck.
You need both if you want to make it to the end with raphael. Four meters of health would have kill the purpose. More time farming for pizzas. I was so nervous while fighting shredder, just one more hit and everything would have been lost.

Every enemy is strategically placed for you to get get screwed by..clinb a ladder..get to the top , bump into a enemy..cheese games..but classic

The makers of this game were saditisic pricks who loved making cheap-shot little critters in every level. But to beat the entire game entirely only using Raphael... damn. I never could get past that terror drome with the eye-ball on top.. I always thought that was the final boss. But nope another level full of cheap-shot litlte shits to deal with :) Nicely done bro
Hats off to you sir, that's some fine playing. It's feels odd seeing this, it's like I'm watching it on double speed setting- I didn't know it until much later that the PAL games ran so much slower.

Man I forgot what a weird and terrible game this was. There's literally no way to avoid damage in some places. One character was amazing and one was absolute dog doodoo. Every now and then you'll be in the middle of a level and walk into an area, boss fight music plays like there's about to be an intense battle but it ends up being a fight with one of the same enemies you've been fighting throughout the whole level already except now it's alone even easier to defeat than usual.

Some of this is unwatchable. He's just blatantly taking hits not even trying to avoid them in parts. Like in level 3 where he re-enters the first building multiple times just because he doesn't have confidence that he can get to the full pizza later on hitless or near hitless. It's just shameful when runners can't even attempt to go through their playthroughs hitless and have the deathless run come as a result of it.
