A little more info about a system's sec status. All systems with a security status of 0.1 or above have sentry turrets defending all aritificial, non-player owned, non-mission objectives (this means jump gates and space stations) These turrets will engage any red flagged (criminal) player with-in their range. Also, players can't use jump gates or dock into stations, if they recently unlawfully attacked the station, the gate, another player or the sentry turrets. This means even if you jump into low-sec, you won't die instantly, but it's not rare to see player gank squads camping low-sec jump gates, with ships that can actually take the damage the sentry turrets dish-out and survive with-out a problem. WARNING: Players in beginner NPC corporations should take extra precautions not to venture into 0.4 or below system, especialy in starter ships, since every player on the other side WILL shoot you as soon as they see you, on suspicion of being a scout (basicly a spy) since it's a common practice to make a noob character and send him/her ahead to scout for other player fleet's.

On the 5th mission of the industry career agent I got killed and lost my cargo then lost the mission and the rest of the industry career agent path what do I do?
You don't need to tell what happens when your ship is blown up. If you will do all career missions there will be IIRC two missions where you have to lose your ship as an objective. Hopefully, you, dear Quill18, will do tutorials for all career agents and show us. IIRC it's an advanced combat agent who gives you this suicidal missions.
I don't need to buy an extra miner as one of the rewards for my next mission is the same miner. I will have two just by completing the missions. Right now I need to buy more ammo as I ran out due to pirates.
The miner I is only slightly better than the civilian miner. On the Venture the civilian miner figure shows 14m3 for 10secs of mining. The miner I shows 97m3 but that is for 60 secs of mining. The more comparable figure for each is shown just to the right of these figures which for the civilian and miner I are 1.4 m3 per sec and 1.6 m3 per sec respectively.
Great game, highly recommended, well worth the the time and effort required to truly understand this game. On a side note NPCs buy sleeper loot, selling to a player will likely lose you a ton of isk, but that’s a little more advanced lol
Hahaha! Sounds like me, "Don't worry, we'll blow up our ship soon enough" :D If only these kind of tutorials for tutorials would've been available when I first started EVE (in 2009, I think... :D ). Of course, I haven't played in 10+ years (well, just got omega in like two days ago), so these are good still :P
Drop the graphics setting to very low, try moving stuff up slowly after playing a bit. It will run but gets lag if the graphics are set to high. Many play on older pc's myself included.
I'm pretty sure you can fit a Venture so it "insta-aligns" (align time < 2 seconds), making it effectively impossible to lock you before you warp off. EDIT: Never mind, you can only get the Venture down to 2.64 s align time.
PVP is why I avoid MMORPGs. I just want to play and explore and have fun, not have my entire character and life totally destroyed by some asshat with a god complex who blows other people up for the shits and giggles of it. I really wish there were like two versions of EVE- one that allowed PVP and another that gave more NPC threats but didn't allow PVP, so you would be forced to band together to defeat the enemies, and don't have to risk some rando shooting you out of the sky because you have a different flag color than them.
The fact is, even in HiSec it's **possible** to get (suicide) ganked. That being said, even in NullSec or wormhole space it's possible to avoid the vast majority of PVP so long as you "play scared"...which can be a hell of a rush (see episode 4). You WILL lose a ship to another player at some point, but it doesn't have to be a big deal -- and it doesn't mean you have to truly participate in PVP.
cycle time, Quill civilian miner is just under 7m3/10 seconds Miner 1 yields .. 46m3/60 seconds .. 7m3 x 6 cycles/minute = 42m3 over same time, 12% less?

@@flamekirito151 Yeah, but in an asteroid belt there are no asteroids to mine. The only object that shows up on the Mining tab in the Overview is "asteroid belt", which you can travel to, but there is no option to mine and no asteroids listed. It is just empty space.
Nope. You need Omega to cloak and to access the higher tier (but far from mandatory) ship types -- but AFAIK you can do everything in the game on a free account.

Right now I need to buy more ammo as I ran out due to pirates.
thank you so much for these videos!
You are a great teacher
Lots of helpful info your giving me here thanks buddy. Liked and shared for you on twitter and full view given to you. See you next time. 👍👊😀❤
“What if we self destructed” is the equivalent of “I SAWED THIS BOAT IN HALF”
The end of the video cuts off the next episode "4" talks about something different haha.
Any continuation from this one?
Great game, highly recommended, well worth the the time and effort required to truly understand this game.
On a side note NPCs buy sleeper loot, selling to a player will likely lose you a ton of isk, but that’s a little more advanced lol
are you really not able to stop during warp anymore cause that used to be a thing....
It would be weird if they cancelled that. Setting up "safe" locations between jump points is an important tactic in null-sec.
Hahaha! Sounds like me, "Don't worry, we'll blow up our ship soon enough" :D
If only these kind of tutorials for tutorials would've been available when I first started EVE (in 2009, I think... :D ).
Of course, I haven't played in 10+ years (well, just got omega in like two days ago), so these are good still :P
I NEED MORE! this game look so good :( i think my pc cant handle it
Eve can run on potatoes. Has very good graphics settings to adapt
This game was played by your grandpa. It can run on OLD machines.
Drop the graphics setting to very low, try moving stuff up slowly after playing a bit. It will run but gets lag if the graphics are set to high.
Many play on older pc's myself included.
today is my second day in EVE, and my Venture was destroyed by a pirate player in 0.4 security system, while I was aligning for warping.
I'm pretty sure you can fit a Venture so it "insta-aligns" (align time < 2 seconds), making it effectively impossible to lock you before you warp off.
EDIT: Never mind, you can only get the Venture down to 2.64 s align time.
im glad my computer hasnt died yet. this game really intense holy shit
Is there a way to use a refer a friend link for a steam signup?
There are certain items that will be bought by NPC corps.
It's a curse, I was doing the industry tutorial and my power went out too!
Look at 9:40 I think that was something going through the Stargate
Hey quill18 is it possible to do only pve and still have fun or will pvp always be a thing to worry about in this game
Its possible to only play PVE (many players are pve focused). As a PVE player you will have to learn how to minimise the risks from other PVP players.
Let me know if you need ships, equipment etc - I can supply you with some.
For free ofc
I can imagine someone setting up a station with very cheap items and setting up ambushes to crush them.
That sounds like Peak Eve.
MOAR!
i opened the inventory and didnt find miner 1 !
are concord police real people or does the game spawn control them?
Cops are computer controlled. They're also invincible and do about 1000x times more damage than any player controlled ship.
you should do more eve
self destruct was the first thing I did when I started this game for the first time XD
cycle time, Quill
civilian miner is just under 7m3/10 seconds
Miner 1 yields .. 46m3/60 seconds
.. 7m3 x 6 cycles/minute = 42m3 over same time, 12% less?
I guess I'm getting back into EVE...
Mining !!!!!
18:50 6.9 cubic meters per second. Nice
0.69 m^3/s. The amount mined is per activation cycle. The Civilian Miner mines 6m^3 every 10 seconds, the Miner I mines 40m^3 every 60 seconds (base.)
Hey Quill you cheated on the second part of the mining quest. You never told us you cannot mine from Asteroid belts. there are no asteroids in asteroid belts. So how do you find asteroids?
If u click mining in the overview u can lock on a targets and then mine them.
@@flamekirito151 Yeah, but in an asteroid belt there are no asteroids to mine. The only object that shows up on the Mining tab in the Overview is "asteroid belt", which you can travel to, but there is no option to mine and no asteroids listed. It is just empty space.
Ty
Wait I have to pay $1.15 to learn how to mine? I know thats cheap but theses games can add up fast. 14.56 minutes
Hi Quill are you planning to make a guild in EVE, I would like to join, or what is ur name in the game ? :)
Guild? What century do you live in? Corporations! Big evil corporations enslaving new players. :)
Fastest rapping ups I've heard in a while
Ive been interested in this game but Chatter of big groups wiping out players turned me off.
You forgot to mention to get drone's you have to be omega...
Incorrect you can still use drones as an Alpha.
you rocks!
Crazysauce?
Looting other people's shit and become criminal?
NOW WE'RE TALKING BUSINESS!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I gonna do exactly that.
15:07 1 Dollar ? One real Dollar you mean for mining ???
что делать если при запуске клиента в лаунчере пишут:
клиент игры связанный с учетно записью ***** внезапно закрылся
don't you need to be an omega to mine?
Nope. You need Omega to cloak and to access the higher tier (but far from mandatory) ship types -- but AFAIK you can do everything in the game on a free account.
@@quill18 you cant do planetary interaction as a free account
I was just mining as an Alpha.
Pew peeing at !!! 😂😂😂😂
You can’t hear lightning, what you hear is thunder which is the result of lightning. Just kidding, I knew what you meant. :)
I put antennas in my ears so I can hear lightning directly. :)
Slow down on moving your cursor, let us find it before you go on to something else....dang
Just saying, Pandemic Horde gives newbeans a starter pack that vastly exceeds the rewards from the career agents.
Plus actual real life people to help you and fly with, plus nullsec space in which the actual game happens.
Join up, dont burn out of eve bored in highsec.
@Michael Jordan dude don't be rude. This is eve, all the big human Corps. and alliances recruit anywhere, and everywhere they can.
@@darthgavel6766 To be rude is part of the Eve. Eve is pain! :)
I want to be red forever
