I couldn't join you live, Katie, but I just donated to Save the Children. Katie and Jen, you are phenomenal women, and I'm grateful for your great work to help our neighbors in LA. ❤
Thank you, Katie and Jennifer, for being so passionate about helping the children in California. I know they have to be traumatized from their lives being affected by these fires.
Please monitor children who are at risk of being kidnapped; in the chaos vulnerable individuals are easy prey for predators. Thank you for remaining vigilant.
Thank you for thinking of the firefighters health and yes Jennifer, you should have a mask on. Any first responders, anyone breathing in all the toxic air should be monitored. Thanks for doing the fundraiser and thinking about the kids. I was evacuated in the Silverado fire in 2020 and remember how bad the air was. I can only imagine how much worse it is for all those going through this nightmare.
21:43 Heartbreaking. So good to see you more often, Katie. This has been the absolute best podcast I've seen since this tragedy began. If course, it reduced me to tears. Jennifer is truly an earth's angel. What an amazing, generous woman. It is too bad others in her field are not providing much needed boots on the ground. It is laughable to envision some of the most wealthy women out on the front lines~deplorable. You know who you are!!!!! Thank you Katie
Thank you sincerely for all the kind hearted people in helping the victims of the fires in California n Save the children The Oligarchs Billionaires Zacherburg the Newly elected Admin Trump Vance your Cabinet will have a hear to help instead of rejoicing fr the Disaster in California!
I sincerely hope that there will be fewer scams taking advantage of the generosity of donors.Hopefully the money will be donated and well spent by those who lost their homes. Amen
Naomi Wolf asks this very question in her recent substack article: Where exactly HAVE 180,000+ plus people gone? Why is there no reporting from shelters, hospitals, no footage of evacuation traffic?
Would you want a camera in your face at the shelter you’re staying at during one of the worst moments of your life, while you’re trying to keep your children safe and sane? It’s one thing for reporters to interview people on the streets in public outside of their burned down homes or businesses, it’s a completely different story to have media outlets camped out where families are staying while they deal with this massive tragedy in their lives. Victims are protected for a reason. Quit being so selfish that you need to see their suffering first hand to actually believe it’s happening. How cruel.
@@PeaceMeBish Accusations of selfishness are not appropriate -- it was only curiosity. No need to be mean-spirited toward others. But, you made a good point in that the victims' privacy is being honored. Surely, friends & family with roomy homes outside the danger zone have opened their doors, too.
Katie ,can one donate anonymously .looked up the link you gave us and they want a heap of info which they don't really need .all they need is to put their hand out so we can click and paypal can put the brass in .
Because most people want to help in some way, in any way they can afford to. If you don't want to or cannot help, that’s fine. Obviously those with greater financial means should also be helping out as well.
Perhaps find a more useful way to deal with your feelings of contempt when you don’t know how to deal with other people’s suffering. Blaming the rich or anyone else is not the answer. It’s a choice if people want to donate. It does not make you a bad person if you don’t have the means to do so also. No one is judging you for not donating, but you are certainly casting judgements on others that you don’t even know. Might want to examine that.
Jennifer garner always doing positive things. I love your energy Jennifer

Why don't all the extremely wealthy people in this country just donate lots of money and leave us less fortunate out of it.
Nobody ever said that you have to donate.
Or tax them like everyone else !
