Quick question to the sim community (im new to the sim community) how can i get the graphics to show the shadows of the lights coming in through the windows and the shadow of the exterior house? What are good cheats to use as well?
Gotta say this was probably the funniest way to get rich quick we ever experienced Would watch an one-hour video just of lilsimsie transforming collectibles into furniture
"he just started a fire and peed his pants at the same time!" and people say the sims isn't relatable. this is also stupidly addicting, i'm beginning to see why gambling is attractive... i just wanted to sit here and watch you transform stuff until you had the most eclectic house ever.
I love how Kayla's constantly worried about whether this is interesting to watch while I'm absolutely transfixed and am kinda sad I can't do it myself because I don't have the packs.
Get the Get to work pack. It can be quite fun. The scientist career is the funniest one. In that career, you can create the Satellite antenna that allow you to influence the mood of the whole neighbourhood, including a bladder failure epidemic, make everyone dance, or call the aliens and greatly increase the chances of an alien abduction. A cloning machine, that can clone anything that can go in your inventory (even magical potions), and, eventually clone Sims. A worm hole generator that can be used to explore the alien world, for a LOT cheaper than the rocket. Cheaper like essentially free.
I would honestly watch this for hours, with perhaps a game of "object bingo" on the side lol. "and the ray gave us a …. who had toy car on their card?" lol Honestly the fact there seems to be absolutely no method as to what object leads to what object is awesome!
The rules are: - starting with transform ray and 0 simoleons - You can only buy items from the Build menu, such as walls, doors and windows and RUBBER DUCKS! - you can buy as many rubber ducks as you want, but you can only furnish the house with furniture that comes from them. - you can only transform an item 5 times, if you have no use for the item, you must sell it and buy more ducks. - have fun! :3 - (you can also buy lights, but only ceiling lights)
I love getting a peek at the behind the scene script adjustments, 1:30 when she crazed the same sentence slightly differently was so cool to spot, she really puts effort in with multiple takes to get the video right. I really appreciate it!
YEAH when she said you probably dont know this item i was like hum that must be what its like to he normal and not know dan and phils dil series 😂 cant relate at all
@@mainecoonie5516 not exactly in this video she transformed until she got an object for every need. My suggestion is that she decorates a normal house and transforms every item once and then redecorate with whatever it gives her.
Transform ray was one of the ways I used to "get rich" in the early days. What I found is that the game mostly sticks to the tile count of the thing transformed. So I would buy a punching bag for $160, transform it and it would turn into more often than not, a bed. Also, often enough to make it worth it, it would be a Princess Cordelia bed for $12000. It gets borked the more packs you have because the game has more items to draw from for the RNG.
Yeah olive green looks really good on her, makes her hair look a little more red and her eyes more green. She even looks more tan lol. It suits her well.
Idk why but the house at like 14:00 reminds me of an early animal crossing house 😂 I think its just the random mixture of furniture in a single rectangular room
I’ve been rewatching Kayla’s short legacy challenge and it really made me want to make my own short life span legacy challenge which I started and I’m already stressed
This is my favorite one of Stanley's adventures so far! I was so invested and I laughed too. I love this😹 Good job Kayla, you're doing great! Don't doubt yourself, specially when it comes to your content, If you're having fun we also will ❤
OMG you are sooo pretty!!!! I love your freckles and your content ! Every time I watch you I get weirdly excited and open my computer to play sims 4 ! ❤❤
Found out early in scientist career that you can transform cups of water. Got lucky and obtained an antique radio thats worth 5-7k. You can also place this item on the cloning machine and print simoleons until your bank account is content.
I think this could be a good challenge with some rules: *A set amount of items *A set amount of times you can do it (x per item? x per whole challenge? increasingly less?) *You can either choose to use these items in the build or you can sell (x amount of) them to buy anything you want *Build a functional house
I did this before and the toliet was the last thing I got. If its still works the same as it did back then there were some tables that would turn into beds but it took a long time. If you are looking to make money by buying random items and then transforming them though I recommend cheap beds for some reason they usually stay beds so it makes it more likely to get something more expensive quickly.
I love watching videos like this because get to work is a oack I'm not interested in at all, but seeing Kayla have so much fun with it is so fun to watch and gives me the experience without having to play
How to get rich: 1. Make a row of the cheapest base game bed (the one that makes sims uncomfortable) with one tile in between. 2. Transform the beds into better beds (it works most of the time because it likes turning beds into beds) 3. Sell 4. More cheap beds 5. Profit
This was by far my favorite get rich quick challenge with stanley, i really hope you actually make some sort of playthrough with this because it was so entertaining to watch!! Trying to see if you can get a functional house just from using the simray (but buying walls, wallpaper, flooring, doors, and ceiling lights are allowed)
I feel so bad for Stanley. At this point, he needs like a hot-dog themed mansion/base of operations where he can rest between these insane videos and everything he gets put through. Build idea??? He deserves it!
I actually loved this one! I agree with some of the suggestions of building and decorating a full house only using what the sim ray gives you! This one was super fun.
You should start with an empty house and try to fill every room with just items you get from transforming. Maybe only transforming what you can scavenge.
Hey! I know I've not watched all of them yet, but this one is by far my favorite so far. You've also convinced me to buy the Get to Work pack next. I can't wait to inflict ridiculousness on unsuspecting Sims. Oh the fun to come! 😂😂
The sim ray upgraded to transform objects, is hands down my favorite item in the whole game. I like to furnish my houses by diving in the dumpster and then transforming them. So fun!
In terms of "getting rich quick" the most expensive item you can clone is excellent quality ambrosia, and you can clone at least 3-5 of them within one game hour. If you're lucky, the whispering well of wishing will give you one without any work involved but either way it give you all the ingredients for one in not too long a time. All you need is a ghost. Aside from that, there are many ways to "cheat" money into the game without really cheating, i.e. whenever you evict a sim from a home, they keep the value of said home in simoleans when they move into a new one, thus accumulatively generating tons of in-game wealth as you repeat the process.
Haven't seen the whole video but this is literally what I do in my legacy challenges! Get the sim ray, buy a Bunch of homework and so everything is profit😂
My kids and I sat down and did this together last year. It's amazing the things you can transform and what they end up as. My children found it hilarious when we got a toilet. So yeah, that's the purpose of it, to just have a tonne of fun and laughs, maybe with kids and maybe without ;) .
Okay but this video was so fun and entertaining, I love the transform ray lol. Also it really takes me back to Dan and Phil Games, the transformation of the day 🥺
When I first started the ‘Not So Berry’ challenge, Vlad paid me a visit in the night. I jumped up and used the freeze ray on him, and didn’t crack him open until morning. He said “thanks for hanging out with me, I have to get going now”. It was hilarious!
Honestly I didn’t think this would be as interesting and entertaining to watch as it was! I just want to watch you make a survival/rags to riches with this.
I'm pretty sure I saw the $13,000 Villain chair from the Secret Agent career at some point in the video. I only know it exists because my sim bought it from the city living thrift shop festival, so I'm not surprised Kayla didn't know what it was or that it's worth a lot of Simoleons. Did anyone else see it?
It's odd that you could not transform the burnt cube, I was able to transform my broken cc computer- which conveniently turned into the exact same computer in a different color and not broken. I also set my bathtub on fire (lol) and was able to transform it again and it went from the cheapest tub to the golden swan!
@@ginasndergaard2709 Definitely edited twice. I notice it every now and then in her videos. She’ll say the same exact thing or the same thing similarly and I’m just like confused.

The timing is kinda hilarious considering I just wrote a rule last night where the Sage generation of the Character Archetype challenge I'm working on will make their living solely off using the chemistry lab to make serums after leaving the scientist career at level 4. It's a bit of work, but all the serums are worth a decent chunk of change. I'd only ever seen the sim ray transform things into something very similar, so I hadn't thought of using that for such a purpose.
Funny, a couple weeks ago I bought the GTW pack to play with retail stores, haven't touched any of the other careers tho. But now since you're playing with GTW more because of the NSB challenge it's really inspiring to try these aspects too ☺️
I was so inspired by this video, that I created a Sim, became best friends with my Scientist Sim, moved her into my house, moved her SimRay into my inventory, then sent her back to her original house. I collected items and sold them until I had enough to get a decor box from Seasons. Now I just make my Sim rummage for decor several times, then transform items until they're good enough furniture to keep, or expensive enough to sell. My biggest gets so far are a $12,000 bathtub, the $10,000 artsy toilet, and a $15,000 violin. I'm planning on building a big house with all of my treasures eventually, but I already have $40,0000+ in addition to my cute tiny home. I also keep visiting the park from City Living, because the big house has a full kitchen, a bathtub, and lots of skill building items! 😉
I used to buy a bunch (25, 50, 100) of the Kindermade chairs at $30 each (AKA, the cheapest BB item I could find without looking too hard) and transform them. I then sold the resulting items in my retail store, and then just through BB. You can easily make $100K in only a few minutes doing it if selling through BB. I've even got a few Schmapple stoves and fridges. At $13,000 and $14,000 respectively, and only spending $30 initially, that's a MASSIVE profit.
That's so much fun! I have done this before. "Pro-Tip": In winter you can build snowpals and then transform those! Guaranteed money because the snowpals are free.
i've been using the simray in my family. Once in a while I buy a bunch of 20$ (small ones) plants and 40$ plants (bigger ones) and I transform all of them. I got a few chicken, including an evil and a golden one, a few things that are supposed to be debug (like the massives crystal decorations from the magic addon), a few locked items (like trophies), a random corner shelf that has been removed from get to work, usb cards...

I just started this this morning and this may be some of the most fun I’ve had in the sims!
I would watch a full hour of this, it's incredibly entertaining content!
Yes I’ve done this for the noskills scenario works so well!! Beds are often my go to haha
That's so much fun! I have done this before. "Pro-Tip": In winter you can build snowpals and then transform those! Guaranteed money because the snowpals are free.
This has been one of my favorite Stanley videos! I think the early rule change was for the better and made a very funny and chaotic vid.
“I’m trying to experiment with my fish” is NOT something I thought I would ever hear Kayla say
i've been using the simray in my family.
