You need to make a tier list over the best get rich quick schemes in the sims! It would be a good way to look back at your older videos in this series and gives us a better over view over the best paying activities in the game
you can send your bees out to get stuff, like the dust bunnies. it'd be cool to see how much you make from just the stuff they find on top of how much you make from honey
Would the bees bring back things as valuable as the dust bunnies do? Maybe it's time for my own experimenting. I only asked them to bring back gifts a couple times, and they were inexpensive things, and since I was playing Cottage Living, and was getting tons of gifts from bunnies and birds, I started using the swarm to pollinate my garden instead.

I'm surprised you didn't mention you can put honey in the fizzing machine to make honey fizz, or you can bake a honey cake, or with the tea brewer you can make Bee tea, or even that you could use the beeswax to make candles. There are plenty of ways to make money with bees.
Tiny Homes do affect the relationship with bees, as well as the Friend of the Animals aspiration (from Cats & Dogs) bonus trait of Animal Affection which will give a boosted friendship level upon interacting with each of the bee boxes for the first time (aka "meeting" them).
Okay so here me out: Stanley has a sister (maybe Stanella or something?) Kayla puts them both in game and it's a contest on who can make the most money, gain relashonships, have the most kids, etc. Loser gets stuck by lightning.

I've noticed people coming onto my lot and doing things like planting and knocking over my trash can since the trait update. I know they're usually mean or evil when they kick my trash can but I'm not sure what traits lead to the free gardening.
Last night I literally had to fence in my sims garbage can because it kept getting knocked over every 5 mins. May or may not have had my sims get into a fight with their neighbor because I caught him in the act.
I was once stung by a bee when I was jogging out in the fields and I wasn't sure if I was beginning to be lightheaded from exhaustion or because I was allergic to them so I rushed back home cause I wasn't very fond at the thought of falling unconscious and dying out in the middle of nowhere where no one knew where to look for me xD turned out I wasn't allergic, just paranoid 🙈 thanks for listening to my short life story

I always do bees along with the garden because all the plants within a certain number of squares around the bee box improve faster... plus you get the honey. Between the honey and eating the cheaper produce instead of cooking all the time you can survive pretty cheaply... plus eating fresh produce and honey both give good buffs....and talking to them helps social. So if you're do8ngvrags to Riches the bees can definitely be a help.
Someone you have to redo this and do the send to fetch gift with the swarm to give bees their full shot at rags to riches. Also it's like a free idea for a video one day when you just need one. In the future if you need more ideas maybe you could use Stanley to try the making a million coins scenario as a mini series? I think I might make my own stanley-esque sim to try to reach 1mil without cheating
Yeah, the only time I was "stung" by a bee was when I was in 6th grade, and a 5th grade boy killed a bee (on accident) when he swung his baseball bat, so he took the dead bee and put it on my head, and when I went to get it off my head I accidentally grabbed it by the stinger...what an ancient memory you unearthed today 😅
I stepped bare-footed on a yellow jacket wasp when I was a little kid. It'd died on the backdoor mat, and I was heading inside after having oodles only fun playing outside. The stinger got between my toes as well. That was a terrible day for me.

After work she put the carrots in the back yard, planning to not plant them so that she can make food syrup. Then my sim invited a teenage friend of hers and that friend ,without doing anything else, went to the back yard and planted half of her carrots. I hurried to put the rest in my inventory. So I can understand the struggle with having plant-able food items outside while having visitors; Invited or not.
I would love to be a freelance beekeeper for a living, but bees in my house is a recipe for bee death. I do not pay any attention to the bugs in my house, which can and has led to accidental deaths. Being a beekeeper in TS4 will have to do for now.

I know this is an old video but i actually did a rags to riches only using bees before i even saw this video. If you do the collector aspiration at the same time there is a chance you can make a lot of money off them when you complete it. You can also send the bees out multiple times in a day to collect things and still make a decent amount of money depending on your luck. If you know all the ins and outs and tricks they can be a decent way to make money... If you don't mind being stung a lot that is lol. I did another one later where i used bees, birds, and rabbits the premise isn't much different then just bees but it did give different options of items.

[ I have two kids from my legacy family -twins - that decided to live off the land as much as possible. They've got crops and a couple bee hives and insect boxes. One does flower arranging and the other one is supposed to be a fabricator but doesn't do it very well lol so she's more of the crops person. It's been really fun with them all their kids have had very well... hippy-ish names like Leaf, Elm, Pepper... last boy is named Dragon lol. I love it so much. Next generation I'm working with is one of the twin's twins and I plan on having them move from growing up on the farming community to living in an apartment to going (eventually) into this huge mansion. They're still in high school but one has sold three children's books and the other is a pretty good painter already. They'll make it lol. ]

Holy hell. Your story about stepping on a be near your grandmother's is the exact way i was stung. I was playing in the church yard my family ran, which shared a pathway from right into my grandmothers yard they were back to back. And i didnt have any shoes on because at 5 years old in the mid 90s, shoes are the devil, and i was playing pretend and running and then this hot stabby pain shot into the heal if my foot and felt like i had stepped in a nail and like it was still in my foot. People are always like "how did you step on a bee?" But you confirm that it is possible to step on bees!
in the spirit of you sharing your stories about how you got stung, here's one of my stories: i was maybe 7 or 8 at the time and a family friend took my sisters and me swimming. we later went to get some ice cream. i felt something on my lips and thought it was a fly so i slapped it in hopes to get it away. in a way it worked but turns out the 'fly' was actually a bee that then stung me right in my lip. i started crying and screaming and had to basically drink soup through a straw for about a week until i was able to eat again :) not my finest moment but definitely a memory that will forever be funny to me
Improving your relation with the bees improve the quality of the honey they produce. Also, good quality plants help for that. A random NPC sim planting your garden ? That don't happen often. What would be nice would be one coming watering and weeding it out of nowhere. Risk dying ? Not as much as with vending machines... You can put the toilet at some random spot of the terrain. It don't need to be IN the house. Same for a bath, a sink or a shower that is not set on a wall. Currently doing a rags to riches challenge. Started with only a terrain and zero funds. Built a house, a garden, and I'm now at about $250 000 with a toddler. Aiming for the million. I got stung by a bee once, because I stepped on one, with broken wings and hidden in the grass, bare footed.
HOW to harvest money fruits : Make sure that the harvester is at least level 3 in gardening so that he can harvest from multiple plants at once. Make sure that there is at least one other plant ready to harvest next to the money tree. If you have Seasons, having a non-seasonal plant is the best. Easy to get are the sage bush and lemon tree. If not, make sure that you are in a sheltered area or have four seasonal plants around the money tree, one blooming during each season. At around 5AM to 6AM : Click a plant and select «Harvest all» and watch as you get all of those nice money fruits in your inventory$$$$$$$$$$
Two things to remember with bees: - The bee keeping suit prevents you from getting stung, and makes you immune to the hot and cold temperatures - Crocus scented flower arrangements will keep the bees calm, so always keep one next to them. They will only last you 2-3 days, but it is worth it.
Bees get irritated as mites are growing, they are also more likely to sting you. They get enraged when the mites are here. You can also collect the swarm and have them go fetch a gift. You don’t have to bond with the bees if your friendship bar is full. Also, they do get your crops closer to evolving every day, so worth it for that.

One does flower arranging and the other one is supposed to be a fabricator but doesn't do it very well lol so she's more of the crops person. It's been really fun with them all their kids have had very well... hippy-ish names like Leaf, Elm, Pepper... last boy is named Dragon lol. I love it so much. Next generation I'm working with is one of the twin's twins and I plan on having them move from growing up on the farming community to living in an apartment to going (eventually) into this huge mansion. They're still in high school but one has sold three children's books and the other is a pretty good painter already. They'll make it lol. ]

Holy hell. Your story about stepping on a be near your grandmother's is the exact way i was stung. I was playing in the church yard my family ran, which shared a pathway from right into my grandmothers yard they were back to back. And i didnt have any shoes on because at 5 years old in the mid 90s, shoes are the devil, and i was playing pretend and running and then this hot stabby pain shot into the heal if my foot and felt like i had stepped in a nail and like it was still in my foot. People are always like "how did you step on a bee?" But you confirm that it is possible to step on bees!

in the spirit of you sharing your stories about how you got stung, here's one of my stories: i was maybe 7 or 8 at the time and a family friend took my sisters and me swimming. we later went to get some ice cream. i felt something on my lips and thought it was a fly so i slapped it in hopes to get it away. in a way it worked but turns out the 'fly' was actually a bee that then stung me right in my lip. i started crying and screaming and had to basically drink soup through a straw for about a week until i was able to eat again :) not my finest moment but definitely a memory that will forever be funny to me

Improving your relation with the bees improve the quality of the honey they produce. Also, good quality plants help for that.
A random NPC sim planting your garden ? That don't happen often. What would be nice would be one coming watering and weeding it out of nowhere.
Risk dying ? Not as much as with vending machines...
You can put the toilet at some random spot of the terrain. It don't need to be IN the house. Same for a bath, a sink or a shower that is not set on a wall.
Currently doing a rags to riches challenge. Started with only a terrain and zero funds. Built a house, a garden, and I'm now at about $250 000 with a toddler. Aiming for the million.
I got stung by a bee once, because I stepped on one, with broken wings and hidden in the grass, bare footed.
Now at nearly $3000000 funds. Harvested some money tree fruits and planted them. Now have 12 money trees from the single one that I bough.
HOW to harvest money fruits :
Make sure that the harvester is at least level 3 in gardening so that he can harvest from multiple plants at once.
Make sure that there is at least one other plant ready to harvest next to the money tree.
If you have Seasons, having a non-seasonal plant is the best. Easy to get are the sage bush and lemon tree. If not, make sure that you are in a sheltered area or have four seasonal plants around the money tree, one blooming during each season.
At around 5AM to 6AM : Click a plant and select «Harvest all» and watch as you get all of those nice money fruits in your inventory$$$$$$$$$$
Two things to remember with bees:
- The bee keeping suit prevents you from getting stung, and makes you immune to the hot and cold temperatures
- Crocus scented flower arrangements will keep the bees calm, so always keep one next to them. They will only last you 2-3 days, but it is worth it.

Bees get irritated as mites are growing, they are also more likely to sting you. They get enraged when the mites are here. You can also collect the swarm and have them go fetch a gift. You don’t have to bond with the bees if your friendship bar is full. Also, they do get your crops closer to evolving every day, so worth it for that.
Whenever I'm sad or sick I just watch your videos and I immediately feel better
