I'm a big M83 fan, so I've loved the original for years (still haven't seen the movie tho, lol). The arrangement in this cover is so creative; in the original, I don't think there's *any* guitar, but in the cover there's tons! Heavy and beautifully layered! And the way Floor hits those "oh-oh-oh's"... So much power!

This song, and also "Winner" hit me like a truck. Floor of course has an absolutely phenomenal voice, but she also radiates an almost unique kind of warmth. It's emotional. It's charismatic. Above all, it's genuine. Put the voice and the emotional warmth together, and it makes her an artist we'd be lucky to see once in a lifetime.
I litterly JUST watched the video for the first time and saw as I refreshed youtube that someone reacted to it so I immediately watched your video because I wanted to see how this song touched someone else.. I was litterly watching that video with wide open mouth and also tears in my eyes. Without even paying close attention to the lyrics the first time. I'm Dutch like Floor so even though English is not hard for me, I couldn't focus on the lyrics the first time. I was just too much in awe of her vocals, the music and esspecially the emotions she was conveying.. I'm a new Floor/Nightwish fan since last November and have watched A LOT of performances and they all are freaking epic but it's been a while since I had such a visceral reaction as I had with this one.. I am speechless and in tears.. I also had a bit of a bad day today (happens sometimes in these times. I too have gone through some stuff the last 2 years or something and the virus striking did not help..) and this song made me feel better :3 I can imagine Floor helps you with your own personal stuff (brave of you to talk about it!).
