Completely agree, It's one of the songs that I kinda didn't want Floor to do, as Anette did a great job with it. It's like Scaretale, which just suited Anette brilliantly.
I loved Anette's version but everything is better with Floor. I close my eyes and imagine I'm in a smokey nightclub in 1935 when i hear this song. My mom would have loved this.
Floor’s high notes are legendary but her lower register is like whiskey and honey …so underrated! 🔥

@@TomTomson81 Not everybody. I understand what he means. Some people complain about Floor "holding back" in Nightwish. Nonsense. Not everything is belting and singing high notes for 8 seconds, but some people just want vocal acrobatics, specially some "reactors" that only wait for "THE HIGH NOTE / FLOORGASM" to come and miss all the subtleties, low notes and colours in her voice.

Floor is fantastic as a jazz singer, what's new, this woman can sing anything. Adore the vocal dynamicas from the very low rich sounds, till the crescendo in the end, also have a little bit Jessica rabbit vibes with this perfect jazzy performance

Floor singing slow jazz.... This woman never stops to amaze me. As I don't like wild metal (love the more quiet tracks of Nightwish, but that is as far as my brain will absorb), I love these more "metal light, mainstream, and now even jazzy songs from Floor.
This woman is capable of so much!

As a floorist from Germany I finally got tickets for your concert on the 1st of June in Eindhoven and get chills each time I think about it. I hope I have the pleasure to see this song live, but I know whatever you will bring up in your playlist for that evening will tear me up anyway. Had to grow up till 63, to feel that kind of emotions I always get listening to you both solo and with nightwish.

If you really love this song that much, you really should check out the original with Anette. It's one of her clear standouts with NW, shoulder to shoulder with Floor's versions. There is a live version from Montreux that's quite good, not to mention the original music video.

Never clicked on a video so fast! Always love hearing this one and this one was literal heaven. Talking of, would love to hear Meadows of Heaven, have yet to hear Floor sing it! Backing singers nailed it for this one too, quite often they're a bit much but this was by far their best performance, not too much, not too little, just right! Wonderful video!
They have never played it live. Jukka said in interviews that if they every did a show with a live choir it would in the set

Finally! I’ve been getting back into Nightwish a lot lately from reactions and the last few live albums & studio albums, but there were a few songs I’ve been dying to hear Floor sing, and this has to be pretty much top of the list, along with Rest Calm and The Siren
