- A plane traveling from Florida to Delaware, near where President Joe Biden owns a home, could be carrying more migrants, according to Newsweek, as tensions mount over immigration.
According to FlightRadar24, this is the same aircraft that Florida used to fly migrants to the tiny island of Martha’s Vineyard. Last week, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office sent two flights to the island, saying they were part of the state’s “relocation program” that intends to send migrants to “sanctuary destinations.”

This should be standard operating procedure. If migrants enter illegally through a border state that isn’t designated “sanctuary”, they should be transported to a migrant friendly sanctuary state! They got them to a place where all of their needs can be met as they figure out what to do. Putting them on a military base where they’re currently taking care of Ukrainian refugees and where the Katrina refugees stayed. They’re completely set up for exactly this. Martha’s Vineyard is taking very good care of them. That’s right-wing media twisting the story.
The truth is, NYC and Martha's Vineyard were disappointed only a few hundred showed up. The sanctuary states want as many as you can send. I pray they get the millions they dreamed for..
Most of these migrants were duped into getting on those planes, being told they would have food, lodging, work ready when they got there. DeSantis is paying someone to go recruit and get migrants to 'sign-up' for relocation. Then, they get dumped off, with no prior warning to the end location. That is FRAUD and KIDNAPPING. Note, when they got dumped at Martha's Vineyard, the locals jumped in and provided for their immediate needs, then the state (with GOP governor) took them to the base, which DID have facilities to house them until they were able to talk to immigration attorneys and figure out what to do. The MV immigrants had already been processed and had hearing dates set in Texas, which will now have to be moved. I imagine that Delaware is making preliminary plans in case that plane does have immigrants on it. Short notice, but at least a few hours time to prep.

I'm in Houston, TX. Just to give folks in other parts of the country how much this affects us...Our car insurance (no accidents or tickets) AND we work at home, almost doubled recently. We are in our 40s and it should be going down at this point. We have repeatedly been told (for years now) that the county we live in is the highest in the Nation due to so many accidents caused by uninsured drivers. If you press them, they will admit it's the illegals. This time, with such a significant increase, I called to tell them we were switching companies. They read to me from a script that it was because of the medical costs of the same said uninsured drivers. Our city literally does NOTHING to get rid of these people. They create crime we would not have otherwise and cause a ridiculous number of accidents.
It hits close to home for me because one of these uninsured drivers almost killed my husband several years ago. She caused such a horrific accident that his car was unrecognizable, and he was left badly injured, covered in glass, motor oil, and burns from the airbag. He is a Stage 4 cancer survivor that works 12 hours a day. He (we) did not deserve this! We certainly did not vote for it. We actually live in the Houston suburbs, pay Harris County taxes, but not allowed to vote in the Mayoral elections. We are affected by their decisions, but not allowed to vote when 'others' are allowed that shouldn't even be here.
We were also left hanging for the balance of this new vehicle because our GAP insurance would NOT cover the cost since the other person was not only an illegal and uninsured but driving someone else's vehicle. We have an attorney and sued, but only recovered minimal medical expenses and not the cost of the car. We had to buy another vehicle and still on the hook for one that was in a junkyard. Most people are not aware that things like this go on every day and are a serious reality. And most Mayors don't do anything about it. I say we share the burden, expense, and danger of this issue with other cities and states. It is not until it affects you personally that you finally 'get' how serious it is.
**I updated my story to give more details...The woman that caused the wreck was not concerned about the fact that my husband was hurt. Her only concern was begging the police not to arrest her, which they didn't. I was crying my eyes out and she didn't shed a tear. She only cared about herself. Zero conscience. Before we were even out of the emergency room that night, she had already made an attempt to file a claim on OUR insurance for her supposed injuries. I had already reached out to our attorney expecting this. She was reported to ICE, immediately. Our attorney sent investigators to the home of the vehicle's owner repeatedly and were told that the not only was the vehicle owner not there, but the woman (driver) was not there. Shocker. This is WHY they should have arrested her at the time of the accident.
She was driving so fast through a red light that she flipped the SUV she was driving 3x's. So you can only imagine the impact on my husband's car. She gave a false story and blamed it on the brakes. -Even the insurance company went after her for this. 4 eyewitnesses said she made no attempt to slow down and actually sped up, hitting my husband and crushing his vehicle. (From their perspective, it looked like she did this intentionally). He was in a convertible and coming home from doing some extra work at the office, on a Saturday. I thank God every day that he survived, but as I was driving to the scene of the accident and saw the fire dept, multiple police cars, paramedics, etc...And what used to be my husband's car, I thought I had lost him. It was a hurt and terror I cannot explain. I would also like to note that 3 other people in my family have had their vehicles totaled by illegals and never got a dime. Insurance companies look for ways to not pay you (even though you pay them) and I never knew that GAP had loopholes to cover the criminals, but not the victims of accidents. If I am pulled over for no insurance, I will get a ticket. So will any Texan. But if they are pulled over and have no insurance, hurt or kill someone in an accident, there are no repercussions. None. THIS is why our car (and even home) insurance is so expensive. Talk to people that live along our Southern border. Their lives are a living Hell. And they did not vote for this either. If you work, vote, or pay taxes, this should scare you because it could happen to YOU.

My insurance just went up 300$ a year ..I called and asked why...because I haven't filled a claim in 20+yrs...oh and also said..if my insurance goes up shouldn't there be a itemized statement showing the increase...but I told the person..I'm going to cancel if you can't put it back were it was...they didnt....but I've had friends get ran into by non licensed immigrants and no insurance... And cops just let them drive away....me I would get some enormous ticket and possible jail time

See, nobody died at Martha's Vineyard. They are dying at the border. And if that doesn't spark some action, then maybe it will take 10's of thousands like these border towns have been experiencing for someone to slam on the brakes.
Besides, I'm sure the emphasis placed on these 50 lives I would venture to say they are being treated better than the 100s of thousands sleeping in the streets of these border towns and cities. Would you not agree?

I bet you yourself know someone, probably even a family member who has died of a fentanyl overdose. Where do you think that is coming into this country from?
