The Walton brothers are the 11th and 12th richest people in the world. Inflation isn’t hurting them or their businesses. They’re still a monopoly that’s crushing nearby local businesses, with more than half of their employees in poverty.

My very last job before retiring was at Wal-Mart. After working there a year, I decided I couldn't take it anymore. Not because of the store. It had the usual mix of dedicated workers and slackers you'll find ANYWHERE. The same for the store's management. The problem was Wal-Mart's CORPORATE management.
Wal-Mart's leadership is OBSESSED with micro-managing and standardizing every detail of each store's operation. Abstractly, on a conference room white board, this may sound like good policy. But every store is different, not only in physical configuration but in the staff, and blind obedience (which they insisted upon) is the enemy of innovation and initiative.
They'd better get their act together, because it's a workers' market right now, and the turnover at my store was HORRIBLE. I can only imagine what it is in bigger markets, with more competition. They'll be going the way of K-Mart.

They need to make Walmart brand foods healthier. Read the ingredients and it’s full of sugar and bio engineered ingredients and other stuff that’s bad for your health. I also have noticed on many occasions that they label the meat to weigh more than what it is. Actually noticed meat 2 pounds less or more then what was labeled and paying the higher cost then what I actually got. They were American Made when they first opened. I remember when I lived in Texas they had just opened a store and where asking people to buy stock into it for $100 - sure wish I had! But $100 back then was a lot especially with military pay.

Walmart where I live is hiring a lot of middle eastern Muslim women. I’m sure they are also getting low pay and not good benefits but if desperate people will take the job. I also noticed the food quality is down hill. I have bought several products to find out the lids not sealed, bread is hard or goes bad right away, fruits and vegetables go bad quickly, was looking at lunch meats and hot dogs and they all were past expiration and I mean all the packets. The eggs in the blue styrofoam always make me sick and my adult children noticed it with their families too. I’ve bought big bags grated cheese and it was wet inside and clumped! Not once but three different times. The potatoes go bad and a lot of them are bad when u cut into them. It’s not very clean either when you look at where the fruit and veggies are and the meat. Can only imagine how the loading dock where the food is stored looks.

Higher position bc they don’t have a degree and have to give to a person who does and do a horrible job at running . I think is long overdue and is time to also give peoples what they good at and passion at an opportunity to rise too to be fair and you never know that person went to college too or not doesn’t matter your talents n passions wins above all . I am so supportive of him to do this and more should follow his lead 👍 the work atmosphere would be so much better when you hire passions n talents over anything else

The president of Walmart isn’t the brightest bulb in the room , so many of my friends work at Walmart and this is what they tell me .. there’s a coach team than there’s a management team than there’s employees that get manage by the coach plus managers. Why do you need so many higher ups to run one store each higher up makes almost 100k doing nothing for Walmart they don’t work they only walk around to check employees working . They don’t do inventory either they don’t check stocks so what’s the point of having them .. just get 2 general managers one day shift one night and hire employees that actually work . Even with all those higher ups the employees steal all the time and give each other discounts all the time so what’s the point of having them . That’s just one downfall about Walmart the other downfall is the security team why have a full staff that doesn’t do anything .. that’s why I said the president of Walmart doesn’t know what he’s doing .. he’s going to collapse like Albertsons if he doesn’t fix it soon .

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHA - - - Democrats should look in the mirror to find the real culprit for falling revenues: Bidenomics and their special interest tax giveaways to the wealthy and well-connected.
      “Bidenomics” Driving Down Revenue
Families and businesses have seen prices increase by over 17 percent since President Biden took office - cutting real wages and sparking higher interest rates.
Americans have experienced a nearly 4 percent reduction in real wages and benefits during the Biden Administration. Because of higher interest rates to combat Biden’s inflation crisis, the Federal Reserve is no longer turning a profit - its payments to the Treasury have dropped from $107 billion in FY 2022 to under $1 billion in FY 2023. An underperforming economy lowered asset values, substantially decreasing capital gains tax revenues.
Biden’s economic policies have kept the labor force participation rate below pre-COVID levels, leading to lower tax revenues from fewer workers earning fewer paychecks.
      Democrats’ Special Interest Giveaways
Democrats’ so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” included over $650 billion in special interest handouts that will flow primarily to the wealthy and well-connected, including billion-dollar corporations and big banks.
These special interest handouts are a massive transfer of wealth from working families to the wealthy elite and are already putting a dent in tax revenues.
      Temporary Tax Collection Challenges
Following wildfires and other natural disasters, the IRS postponed the filing deadline for taxpayers in California - leaving an estimated $70 billion temporary gap in federal tax revenues for FY 2023.
Ballooning Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC):
As of September, the IRS has made $220 billion in ERTC payments, with another $120 billion in the pipeline, according to the Wall Street Journal - a total that is six times higher than the original CBO estimate of $55 billion.
Fraud in the ERTC program has become so prevalent that it earned a place on the IRS’s annual “Dirty Dozen” list of worst tax scams.
Biden’s Global Tax Surrender Will Drain Even More Revenues
The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) estimates that Biden’s global minimum tax deal negotiated at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will result in over $120 billion in lost U.S. tax revenues.
While draining U.S. tax revenues, the OECD plan will also harm American competitiveness and hand a strategic economic advantage to the Chinese Communist Party. < > WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE

People please don’t go to college guys or weigh all your options. You could be wasting your time. I am a vet with a bachelor & master degree with a focus in my 13 year career in procurement. With everything I still can’t get a job with a competitive salary. Had to beg my company for a raise only get 2 percent. At this point I’m starting to question everything. Even debated going back to navy and forgo my disability rating at this point.

These reporters seem almost disgusted at the idea of non-college grads earning up to six figures. I can detect the disdain in their faces.

Businesses supply merchandise and products to customers, businesses set and raised the price without increasing pay rate.

Praise Jesus for you Walton Brothers!
    Please keep prices affordable-
If it weren’t for your stores I would not be able to afford groceries for my family.

This is amazing. When you look to a population that didn’t subscribe to a standard system, you will find true innovators and incredibly valuable people. As someone who is successful without a college degree, I can tell you that “going with the flow” and taking on tens of thousands of dollars of student debt doesn’t always signal intelligence. It can often times showcase a lack of independent direction in life. I wouldn’t hire someone with a liberal arts degree.

BIDEN CLAIM: “President Biden and Congressional Democrats’ plan to grow the economy from the bottom up and middle out, not the top down, is delivering for the American people. President Biden and Congressional Democrats have worked together to grow the economy and create a record number of jobs.” The President says that his Administration has: “Created more than 13 million jobs; brought the unemployment rate below 4 percent four years before experts projected and kept it there for the longest period in more than 50 years; and achieved record low unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanics, people with disabilities - and the lowest unemployment rate in 70 years for women.”
      FACT CHECK: Recovery Versus Creation
Nearly 72 percent of all job gains since 2021 were simply jobs that were being recovered from the pandemic, not new job creation. In fact, when looking at today’s economy compared to pre-pandemic levels, employment is up only by 3.7 million, not 13 million.
On the other hand, in his first 2.5 years, job creation under President Trump was 5 million-1.3 million more jobs than the current President in the same time frame after factoring in the recovery from pandemic. < > BUDGET COMMITTEE

Well, you’d better take lessons from Chik Fila about customer service because when I see Walmart employees it’s like pulling teeth to get their help, or even have them say hi.

low prices?!? yeah right!!! i had to go there for my monthly groceries last month, due to easter. cost me 200 bucks more for the month, than it does at my local HEB... the "inflation" is fake... corps raised prices during the shortages, and now they wont drop the prices back down now that supply lines are up and moving again... beef and pork are wholesale cheap again, but they are still charging covid prices... even sams is higher on most things than my grocer is...

I was there for the last time because I couldn't believe the prices. Even hostess snowballs that my Mom likes were $3 for one two pack. The prices of groceries was higher than Smiths.
