Love Hall of Greats but enjoyed this way more than I expected! Would definitely be up for this alternating with Hall of Greats every few months. This is the type of content that makes me love Easy Allies.

@Easy Allies - why don't you just put numbers/values on the chips? So you all just have 3 chips - a number 1, number 2 and a number 3. Would make it easier to hide how many are put in each container.

Duke Nukem Forever is the only game that I ever smashed and burned the disc of. It felt necessary to keep anyone else from ever playing that copy of that game again....
Not sure if y'all consciously decided that every presentation needed a visual element going forward, but I think it added a lot to the show and made it feel more consistent through out. There was a lot of passion here and it was fun to watch.
At first I was skeptical because I watch EZA for their general positivity, but the recent HOGs have been very underwhelming and this was great. Everyone seemed to have fun. I don't think this needs to be a "series", but I do think spicing up HOG every once in a while with a new concept is very welcome.

Both the 1998 (quake2 engine) and 2001 (Unreal 1 engine) trailers of Duke Nukem Forever were awesome. If they would have released them at the time. 3Drealms would have grown as a developer. Hell, even the 2007 trailer was great. Scott Miller is still one of the greatest minds in gaming and its a shame the old 3Drealms/Apogee is gone.

Ngl, early into Blood’s presentation (like around 1:06:30) I thought the UI looked weirdly looked like Skittle and was really hoping one of the allies would pick up on that too and make a joke during the question time... but when it was revealed that it was actually a Skittle my jaw dropped, lol.
For all the good games we get, there will obviously be tons of bad games. Some made by an inexperienced studio, some with a small or nonexistant budget or lack of time. But that alone doesn't make a game shameful. What makes a game shameful is when there are stakes. When the studio or the franchise has a precedent of being good. When a game has a fantastic polish and hype that doesn't match the actual product. Thats why the inductees where what they were, and why Minesweeper, Darkened Skye and to some extent Buck Bumble didnt deserve the title of shamefully bad, imo.
This was fantastic. Each were deserving of Hall of Shame for different reasons: Dead Space 3 - Shameful greed and trend following is a slap in the face to the series. Duke Nukem Forever - Should be ashamed of the lack of effort and tasteless writing and gameplay. DMC2 - Should be ashamed of the lack of effort. Darkened Skye - Shameless marketing and product placement at the core of the game. CP77 - Shameless promises made by the executives that go beyond cut content, but outright malicious overhyping and underdelivering. Minesweeper Genius - Shamelessly deviates from the core of what Minesweeper even is, without any care or consideration for the genre. Buck Bumble - Should be ashamed by the lack of effort.
CORRECTION: DMC2 now takes place before DMC4 and in an untranslated DMC5 novel Dante goes back to Lucia’s village to help her slay Balrog so they haven’t abandoned DMC2 but they sure as hell don’t like to talk about it
