Josh Kramer of saint was great metal voice, lots of depth to his vocal, he had a rob Hal ford type voice
I love Theocracy. I really love progressive metal and that's what they seem to play. I listened to band's like Queensryche, FATES WARNING and Dream Theater and I've been praying for the Lord to show me a Christian progressive metal band. I was sitting at the bus stop and one of their songs Easter, just popped up. So Praise the Lord! Stryper, Michael Sweet has an amazing voice.

Offense: Nancy Jo Mann of Barnabas ! some fine talents mentioned here, and Nancy Jo deserves to be on the list. i suggest listening to Approaching Light Speed, Feel The Fire or Little Foxes for further proof.

Approaching Light Speed was an awesome album,I wasn't familiar with them back in '83 and music store recommended them,it blew me away

Schlitt isn't metal, but hard rock.
His voice would sound epic doing metal as well. An honorable mention would have been cool since Petra paved the way for these guys.

Yeah I agree with many of These choices.but I got to mention also how about Ransom's Lisa Faxon.?Great voice for heavy rock,also had the glam metal looks and stage presence and probably still does.A Christian "rockchick" not to be overlooked.Tremendous Talent and very heartfelt devout and moving lyrics.I only wish they'd come out of the woodwork and start up good ol' Ransom again.How God spoke to me and challenged me thru their first Album back in 1993.I think made all the more potent BECAUSE Lisa was the singer.i actually needed to hear those lyrics sung to me by a Girl and this hit home all the harder.(I had been thru many a bitter experience witht the opposite sex by that stage in my life).It felt like their lyrics were written especially for me.Tony Ortiz in interview said probably the majority of clubgoing Rockers of the day couldnt care less about the Faith"But if one Person was touched then it was all worth it/worthwhile".Rest assuredly ,I was touched!

Another awesome singer ,who in two languages praises God. Johanna from the Finnish band HB. i. believe they have now dissolved but hope God finds a way to bring them back.

Incredible songs more mature and my be a little too polish but great tunes! Funny how people knocked them for doing it a a gimmick and still going strong 33 years later!

My dad and I saw Stryper live, they were awesome!
Larry Dean of Trytan, Steven Patrick of Holy Soldier, Andy Denton of Legend/Legend 7. To name a few, but the one omission I was shocked by was Sonny Larson of Motherlode and XT. He can really hit the high notes. I have little over 1200 albums and there are so many great vocalist that never got signed or recognized. Some are cassette only and I can never find them on the internet.

Theocracy has the best singer on this list. Power metal singers always have the best voices and vocal ranges.

Michael Sweet is 100 times, better, stronger, fitter, better looking, better guitars, voice, song writer, cooler, and seemingly more Christ like than he was in the 80's, I defy anyone to name a 50+ year old that can say the same? I'm sure it has been a LOT of work. He and Stryper deserve more accolades for sure!

daniel carro he is a good singer, but Petra is rock, not metal, which is why they weren't on the list. Petra was my favorite Christian band growing up though.
I think Micheal Drive (Lee) (Barren Cross) should be high on the list and Les Carlson ( Bloodgood) should also be higher... but i can see why Micheal Sweet is #1 and i do agree with that. Bride need another look and think it need a higher rating.

I am surprised the Christian from Narnia wasnt in the top 10. He and Michael Sweet are definitely two of the hardest-working vocalist in Christian Metal history.

Found Demon Hunter about a month ago. I was listening to a Metal mix on Spotify and they came up. Raining Down was the song that played. After that I started following them and created a channel just for them by liking all their albums.
Try convinctions and as lions and lambs. They are up and coming bands that have some huge breakdowns and drops it compare as lions and lambs to the christian version of lorna shore

To me are Daniel Heiman, Fredrick Sjoholm, Michael Sweet, Rob Rock, Christian Rivel and a lot of other great singers, for Black Metal is impossible to have this very HIGH QUALITY of Singing!!!
