When I am in a high stress situation, I am as cool as a cucumber, but once it's over and I am alone, I lose my shit. She could have the same response system. Fight or flight sometimes turns to pause and stay still turning all emotions off and just being matter of fact. I don't know because I am not her, but I know what happens to me.
This grandmother completely BLOWS me! Absolutely no emotion! I totally love how “specific “ the cop got after the dad’s smart ass remarks. He shut the dad up QUICKLY! RIP to this gorgeous baby girl. ❤
The dad needed to say what he said, the detective was leading a confession. The father also made the right choice to stop the interview when he did and request a lawyer. I'm not saying it was righteous, but it was the correct legal response.
I'm pretty sure I've done that with all 4 of my kids when they were babies, " What's the baby doin?" "Where's the baby at?" when talking to other people. And I would've called them by name when addressing them directly. I'm not sure you can draw anything from that. I love all my babies and they're all still alive ...
Jayden's mother, father, and sister's behavior is so nonchalant, its so shocking. The way his sister basically waves off the fact the baby was in critical condition is so disturbing.
That's because they are trash. Nothing more, nothing less. That woman has 7 children for God's sake. When trash people have that many children it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.
@@muggleintheupsidedown I think I know what you're talking about. My son in law's brother's girlfriend was pregnant back in 2021 with a little girl. My son in law and his brothers are half Hispanic, half Caucasian. His girlfriend is black. Well, ex-girlfriend now. Her parents were not happy that their daughter was having a baby with a man that wasn't black. When she was only 24 weeks pregnant, she went to the hospital because she hadn't felt the baby move much. The Drs discovered that the baby had an infection and was in distress. So, they had to do an emergency C-section. They delivered the baby but she only lived for a short while after she was born. Like, maybe 10 minutes. My son in law's mother was there and so was the girlfriend's parents. My son in law's mother was crying and so broken hearted when her granddaughter passed away. The girlfriend's parents showed no emotion at all. They acted like they didn't care.
God, just the way Riaana's head DROPS when she's told that Jaydan lied to her about where the baby was just breaks my heart. You can tell everything just clicked in that moment and you can tell she's just thinking "I left that man alone with my baby, I trusted him, and he fucking killed her"
Or hear me out. She could've realized she messed up and now they have even more prove that he killed the baby, cause honestly she didn't seem too affected by the situation either and when I heard both parents would put the baby in the basement under dirty clothes well that says a lot.
No I don’t agree with that atall, that’s very wrong!!.. that rihianna one looked as guilty as he did & that evil grand mother too!! She didn’t she’s one single test either didn’t u see that!?!?all she was doing was sitting having a gab where were her tears ?& also she was only backing that wee creepy Bf of hers up aswell, didn’t u hear the rumours about them both locking that poor little angel in the fkng basement c’mon surely your NOT that nieve here,I have a daughter & I’ll tell u now if I was that mother hearing that about my baby girl I would be inconsolable 💔💔your wrong about what u think of that Rihanna too
The Mum sure was sobbing when Jayden was under arrest, but not a single tear for the infant her son murdered. If my child killed an infant they would not have my support, evil.
I know it's hard to believe but a lot of times the mother knows exactly what's going on in these abuse cases in these death cases the mother or the stepmother or the girlfriend always knows about the abuse weathers intentionally inflicted or an accident they are usually in on it or they allow it to continue for the hope of of forsaking and not forsaking the relationship for the hope of keeping their man around because let's just be honest a lot of women will respect cook and clean and honor their man before they even think about looking at their child
One grandma was screaming and crying and hysterical over the fact that her precious little grandbaby was dying. The other was acting like it was just another Tuesday. Unbelievable. I hope the maternal side of the family is able to heal from this. The paternal side can kick rocks.
You’re right. However, I’m holding all of these families accountable because why are these young people having babies?! That boys mother is out of her mind.. she’s mentally somewhere else
Bro you sound d u m b People grieve differently. She maybe a victim of a b u s e herself and doesn’t show emotion. U have no idea what she was feeling just because she wasn’t outwardly hysterical. Y’all are amazing. Blaming a grandmother that was GONE when it happened.
@@QuestofthenightI understand some people are calm and contained when in distress or shock, seen it a lot. But there's still body language or something in the voice that will usually show it one way or another. But if you ask me the boys mother knew more than she was letting on aswell and still very much comes off as she is keeping something from the cops. Perhaps covering something. Her body language is also a little TOO relaxed for the situation. Too laid back. She looks more bored and fed up than in a silent state of shock.
Riaana's mom was clearly devastated as a grandmother would be! The other grandmother looked cold as ice. May this beautiful baby rest in peace, poor little angel.
Yup, its so frustrating which family was treated worse. Obviously we're not shown the full clip, but I've seen MUCH worse crying and wailing in hospitals (both my parents are in medical) and those people weren't treated with such force and disrespect. The immediate family can very easily request certain family members to stay with them, which is what Riaana clearly tried to communicate. I definitely agree with Riaana's family, those cops were prejudiced ass motherfuckers.
@@utopiacore3978you are absolutely right! The baby’s mother’s relative in the hospital said what she said for a reason and I hate that they were put through that. To be honest just looking at the 2 families, his family looks like drug addicted trash. I’m sure they may not all be like that but the ones seen. I feel for that baby girl and her mother and their whole side. I’m sorry yall had to endure any of this.
@@utopiacore3978 I normally hate the way that "card" is thrown around so often, and is many times unjustified... but I gotta agree with you to some extent. It's likely the cop unfairly grouped the entire family as "that type" of people, if you know what I mean, and didn't wanna deal with it for that reason. At the very least, he could've instructed or explained it with more emotional understanding and care. At the end of the day, the hospital is private property and it _is_ their call to run the facility, within the confines of the law, the way they see fit. He could've sympathized with an already traumatic and emotional experience though, and even offered to speak to hospital staff to ask for one last chance to allow certain family remain, if they promised to stay divided and calm as possible. If the hospital still says no, it is what it is, the only option then would be leave peacefully or in handcuffs. But he instead only offered the latter option from the start, to a possibly innocent and concerned grandmother that wasn't even present at the time of the altercation. Just an awful situation, made even more unfortunate.
Him saying “when I tell my mom to come, speak…” when the detectives were questioning the reasoning behind calling her instead of 9-1-1. Man, that tells you everything you need to know about THAT dynamic. I don’t believe for one second she doesn’t know everything that happened to the poor baby.
@@kimpettiford3676she's doing that for a reason. From the start, Jayden's family use distancing language by calling her an it. So the detective is also using distancing language to mirror them and to confront them whilst not attacking them for their shocking lack of emotion. By calling her an "it" she is minimising the crime by not saying "her" or "baby". "It" is much easier to say and is a common tell that someone is guilty when they do this. It's distancing. She flips between guilting him with using terms like baby and her when he's weaker and using the term "it" when he's shut off so that she can still get information. The detective clearly cares a lot as she is a good dang detective. They brought in the right person for sure 🎉
See how they are eating right before he gets arrested? That's because they go to sleep at dawn, this is just their regular dinner time. And that is because this woman, without a shred of a doubt, takes hard drugs. I have never seen a house THAT messy except in houses of drug addicts, who spend more of their time high or trying to get high. I would get if it was a teenager's home, but a grown woman, a mother, even has all sorts of shit on each step of the stairs. And that disgusting baby mattress? Their dog (BTW, a pit bull of course, typical of drug dealers) was kept in better conditions than that poor baby. And he made that child when he was just 16. I wish there was a way to bring her to justice.
@@katemangos1705 the 100 yr sentence is a start, plus going into prison on charges of brutally killing your 8 mo old daughter & other charges pertaining to assulting a baby is putting you in bottom of the inmate Peking order. I just can’t comprehend how any human can do that to such an precious innocent child, and that her own father did that is just evil. The moment the det told him he was getting charged with 1st degree murder & seeing his reaction was the BEST part of the show for me
@@elsalvsAngles yes, especially cause the father was being such a d*ck through the phone; I know us viewers and the detective wished we could've seen his face.
Hearing him say he dropped her a couple of times so nonchalantly, sent chills through me. Jaiden wouldn't be allowed to be with my child unsupervised. But, seeing their lack of emotion for his child and her grandchild speaks volumes as if they'll be okay with or without her.
As far as I’m concerned, jayden’s mother knew more than she’s letting on. You can’t tell me these two monsters sat there stone faced with no emotion while that baby girl was on life support in the hospital. And then when they find out she passed they barely show emotion. I hope they get what they deserve
Tina, the grandmother, is guilty and showed no remorse when told of the baby's passing. She didn't like the baby's mother or her race. After picking up Jayden and the baby, they stopped for pizza and a quick errand at the mechanic. Then, they returned to Tina's home to eat the pizza. Within a short time, after eating the pizza, Tina left again with the excuse to go to McDonalds drive thru. Jayden thought the baby was sleeping after his mom left. I feel after returning home with the pizza, the baby was fussy and crying. Tina, thinking her young son was throwing his life away for the baby and she didn't want to be involved to care for the baby she became overwhelmed with the babies crying and shook her when Jayden was out of sight eating the pizza. As an excuse to not be in the home when Jayden would find the baby unconscious Tina left for McDonalds, way across town. Jayden thought the baby had slept long enough and tried to wake the baby. The baby wouldn't wake up. In fact, she was unconscious from Grandma Tina's abuse. It's sad Jayden didn't get good legal counsel. His mother is guilty as sin, and Jayden is paying for it with his life. Some way in the not too distant future, someone will hear about this farce of justice and Jayden will be cleared.
Toni and Jayden going to like 57743 different food stops is weird to me. First Toni picks up dad & baby & go to pick up a pizza, then gets food from the baby mama, then mexican restaurant before home, THEN Toni is in the McDonald's drive through when she's called to come take the baby to the ER. Is that normal?
I found it hilarious when the dad was being an asshat and asked the detective if he had any specific questions. “Yeah Jayden, what did you do to kill your daughter? Thats a specific question”
Yeah the detective was trying to be subtle and caring towards Jayden even though he’s a suspect but then the father decides play smarter than the detective. Instant karma
You find your child not breathing and lifeless, but instead of calling 911 and attempting CPR to save her life, you call your mom?!?! How did that decision make sense him?
People don't normally call 911 on themselves when they commit a crime. He probably had to ask that emotionless woman what to tell the hospital. I bet he thought he'd be able to avoid police this way.
@@heybigbender Look beyond the obvious conclusion that was put there on purpose Anyone with any sense could see what's going on and to me it appears as though the Grandmother set this up
Don't try to fix a man at all with any method when they show you who they are believe them. But given how she was a teenager she isn't to blame for making a mistake a lot of young people do in being with the wrong person. Just a shame the child had to pay the price cause her father was a violent degenerate.
When they began the interview with the babies mother (Riaana) I was mind blown at how intelligently & eloquently she spoke, in comparison to the father's speech and behavior. Then she said she "felt like she could save him" from his demons, and I understood completely; I've been there myself. Sooo many people lower their standards (especially women) & have a heart for people they feel need "saving", but destroy themselves in the process because those people can RARELY be saved. Absolutely heartbreaking story.
@@briangreen256or love them so much, you want to save them, or help them because you don’t want to see them struggling and going down a horrible path. Then you have the “men”, that complains about that woman, as being controlling 😢
The detective’s response when Jaden’s dad asked if there’s a specific question…..BOOM! Well played, detective! rip to that precious baby girl. No more pain, sweetheart. 💕 Condolences to her maternal family.
That was actually a terrible move by the detective if the goal was to get more information and/or a confession, since him losing his cool caused the family to lawyer up immediately.
I remember being a teenage mother, while living in my moms house. I also remember how protective she was over my son. If we ever got pulled into the police station, and the cops proceeded to inform us that my son had sustained those kinds of injuries, my mother would’ve flipped the table. And if they even alluded to the fact that I had inflicted those injuries to my own son, she would’ve had me in a choke hold. The fact that this grandmother showed NO reaction or emotion after learning that her grandson received life threatening injuries while in the care of her son is extremely telling. That poor baby didn’t stand a chance with that family and it’s heartbreaking.
I’m not afraid of my mother. My mother isn’t violent but she can be if her family is threatened. My father was immensely abusive throughout my childhood. So while she’s not violent by nature she’s not afraid of dealing with another individual in a violent manner if it means defending someone she loves. I think most people can be violent if their family is threatened. But considering she spent most of my childhood protecting me from my own father, I wouldn’t put it past her to harm someone in the process of protecting her grandson. Even if it meant me.
@@Sigyn26 I completely understand what you’re saying. I am a grandma, and I would be the same way. Im not naturally a violent person, but mess with my grand babies and I’ll flip.

Despicable. The grandmother didn't even FLINCH when they told her that baby had died. Wtf is wrong with her? And she has 7 kids of her own?! That makes it even worse.
Is very easy to understand the reason tho, I guess the boy family never like the baby Mum, I think the boy don't even want to be with the girl anymore but just responsibility to the baby , sometimes different colour of us not getting well together due to the culture, so they act very cool of this, so seems like when the baby gone they can get rid of the girl aswell. I don't think a 19 years old really want to be a father truly since they are still kido themself, kids just give birth whenever they are pregnant without their parents teaching better, I had three female friend had kids in a young age like 20 and now one loss both of her kids (gov took them ) due to some court cases and the other one thinking to leave her husband every single day and insults her husband how little money he just made sometimes beat the husband up and blame him made her become a mother of two and housewife so she can't go out work and make money lossing her wonderful life. And other one divorce due to the husband non stop cheating while she taking care of 2 kids. Tbh I m a women myself I don't support women always blame man for their pregnant, for a young age mostly the boy just got force to accept it, there's always pills and condom there for protection also after pill, always having sad story for young parents , not everyone ready to be a parents .

Don't be distracted by silly details. Lots of parents wake their babies from naps for various reasons. Usually it's because they don't sleep a full 10-12 at night if you don't, or, if it's like my kiddo, he has a sleep disorder that makes waking up hard and the longer his nap is, the harder it is for him emotionally. Some kids just need sleep help. Also, adjusting bedtime routines can also make nap wake-ups an imperative. There are far more alarming red flags in this case than the lie that he tried to wake his baby from a nap.
I have to say, when the father was on the phone and tried asserting his authority about “no further questions. @@thebellakittylove true. I think not enough time passed for them to be guilty and if he’s the dealer he don’t have no need or want to be hurting they child they are his income
@@thebellakittyloveyeah right ..lol. that's a random unsubstantiated assumption. So you claim the neighbors is an addict as well AND he needs a ride to get his drugs ..lol nevermind the man carries a bag from a store in his hand when returning home just ignore that
@user-bn2st5kx8h yeah you can tell it was a chance interaction between them that led to her taking him to the store. The body language of the neighbor reflected that completely.
As a mother of a daughter who's father was abusive to me. This hits home because I left the father of my child, he put his hands on me while my baby was in my arms. That was 11 years ago I never went back and my daughter has never met her dad .. everyone down talks me for keeping them apart... This case is a example of exactly why I have protected my child for 11 years. In fact the father of my child is in prison for animal abuse.... I trusted my gut and I just knew in my heart I had to make the decision to never look back .. I am so glad that I made the decisions I made. Although it's sad to raise a fatherless child, shit happens and as parents we all have to just find a way to make the best of life every day .. my condolences go out to The mother of this child, she did not deserve for that to happen to her precious baby. My heart hurts for her in the most personal way from my life experience.... I pray that she has support that she needs. Unimaginable
All of Riaanas family showed up and showed emotion on top of fought to see the baby and even went as far as to threaten the other family in the baby’s defense yet Jaydens mom didn’t even shed one tear or show any emotion and the sisters look burdened by the whole ordeal.
@@allison257 She's the baby's grandmother and they had no sympathy for her and telling her she's not immediate family. Riaanna literrally said "so you guys are just going to let me go through this alone?" They did not care.
This seems very fishy all round. 100% Jayden did it and his Mom knew, but i also think Rhianna knew he was physically abusing their baby. At the very least she knew about the appalling conditions at that house. Ugh. So many failures to protect this poor baby from her monster of a 'father'.
Yea i think she was turning a blind eye if not whooping that baby as well. Their home was filthy and seems like a neglected home. Also she’s barely showing emotion.. If my child was in the hospital dying id be hysterical
Maybe. This is not an excuse for her but I think being abused herself she was in a warped effed up reality of if her daughter was actually in harms way… Honestly I think regardless of if the spouse is being abused they have a responsibility to save their child and if you knew your daughter was being abused in any way then you are liable to get them away from that danger in some way. It’s one thing to keep yourself in that type of relationship but it’s a whole other thing to keep your infant daughter that is defenseless :(
Careful now, pointing fingers at anything but a penis will get you kidnapped by gypsies for 6 months as your Bugatti collection is auctioned off for drugs.
It REALLY depends on what kind of fireworks you're setting off and where. We regularly have our own firework show - the legal, NON-Class B kind - every 4th of July. We did our fireworks about 2 weeks after my 2nd daughter was born and the year my last child was supposed to be born, we postponed it until after she was here & I was healed - so she was about a month old. For both times, as per usual, we set off our fireworks in our backyard behind or to the far side next to our house - depending on wind - and even the BIGGEST/LOUDEST bang/pop WASN'T audible inside, where my daughters was slept. I fed, changed, & turned on their sleepy music before laying them down and sat with them for the first couple pops/bangs - to make sure there was no startling sounds - before leaving them under the view of our camera monitor and meeting with everyone outside to enjoy the show. My babies were so content that they didn't even flinch throughout the whole show! And we've continued to do these every year and NEVER had any issues with startling or scaring the babies as mine got older (now 9 & 6) and relatives came with their new babies. It's really _NOT_ that hard to be responsible when engaging in this kind of recreational activity.💯👌🎆 P. S. It's actually better and many doctors recommend NOT restricting noises during new babies' slumber, to acclimate them to all of the regular/background noises that we're ALWAYS hearing, but not actually listening to or noticing. If you intentionally make everything extremely quiet, then even the SLIGHTEST unexpected noise will not only wake, but SCARE the baby and thus make getting them to sleep & staying asleep harder.👌👍🏻
I do believe he’s guilty but I believe his mom knows a whole lot more than she let on. She showed zero emotion when they were both told the baby had died. That home was absolutely disgusting. Also, was it just me or did they stop at several places to pick up food? They got a pizza from the grocery store, stopped by Rianna’s work and she brought food out to them, then the mom was in the McDonald’s drive-thru when Jayden called her..? It’s a very very sad case and I feel terrible for that poor helpless baby 😢
It’s possible that Toni, jaden’s mom, didn’t know what happened in that situation but it’s definitely obvious she did not like the baby. I think she’s just thankful that the granddaughter she never liked is now gone.
His whole family seemed like they were on the same drugs. Lil or no emotion for that child or anything but they got a Rude awakening when the police were too nice in the interrogation room then his dad got fly & the detective says okl you being charged with murder. My baby my baby he didn't give 2 pumps about her n killed her to get back at his bm. Selfish demonic narcissistic kid n it's apparent his family would let him get away with murder CLEARLY.....pitiful
Seems like a prejudice family that really didn’t love the baby bcuz the mom was black. They spewed hatred not only towards the mom but the baby also. I understand that type of behavior bcuz my daughter’s father family was caucasian and his mother always had something racist to say about my daughter. I pulled my baby from that family, 40 yrs ago and I nvr looked back. Ppl are very wicked & mean and sometimes when they can’t hurt the mother, they’ll take their hatred out on the child. That was a beautiful baby…
Over 20+ forms of contraception and yet, people who have no business having children are still out here making them and then neglecting them ... this angers me to no end. Edit: Seems I've caused some sort of divide, as I said in a reply: "My rational is, don't have intercourse to begin with if you're unable to accept the responsibility that could arise from it, abstinence is the most effective form of birth control. Stick to oral or abstain completely. Abortion should be the VERY last resort if there are complications, or if there's a very valid reason to consider it. adoption after birth is the better option." (Though it can be argued that adoption could also be horrible for the child if they end up going from home to home without a forever family). Note that this is my opinion on this subject, it's not an end all be all solution, it takes two to make life. There's literally no point in blaming the other s*x when both parties are willing participants in intercourse ... Stay respectful in the comments people. Being rude isn't going to get us anywhere.
For real. So many people just straight up shouldn't be allowed to have children... but laws like that would be a bit tyrannical. Idiots are the cost of freedom. We can't just send em to the firing line like communist countries.
I know "orders are orders" but it is honestly cruel to make that mother go through that alone. At least let her pick one family member to stay and comfort her.
As a mother of 3 (ages 35, 33 and 30 years old all are parents themselves) If I was sitting in an interrogation room with one of MY CHILDREN there is NO WAY I WOULD BE NOT TELLING HIM HE NEEDS TO SAY WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!!!! How she is sitting there acting like she don't care & wants to be ANYWHERE but THERE.. SHE IS THE REASON HE IS THE WAY HE IS!
The feeling never gets easier does it? It breaks me to think someone hurting their baby, as I have a 6 month old. I would die for her and I love her more than anything in the world (next to her father of). I feel so sad and anxious whenever I hear my baby cry (like when she meets new people. She pouts and starts wailing)
I actually think it's the grandmother and the son didn't truthfully know what happened but she let him take the fall. It wasn't established who put her in the car seat to begin with and the grandmother had issues with the girlfriend from the start and her demeanor was sus during all the interviews. Her lack of emotions finding out her grandchild died was nonexistent.
She honestly seems to be disgusted and in shock not nonchalant. I think she doesn't know what to do. She can't condemn her son (in her mind) but she can't support him totally either, so she sits quietly.
I am with you! My son is 31 and I would be yelling and screaming at my son for even being in the integration room! He knows better.. he is a Detective lol! That aside I still would yell at him.. probably give him a black eye if he ever laid a finger on my Granddaughter or his wife!
I dealt with my own daughter NOT taking her infant to the ER to protect her husband... Then accusing me of calling CPS. I didn't call nor reported anything. Just talked HIM into taking her a doctor appointment. He told on himself and CPS , Of course, got involved. I've been "disowned" and forbidden to see my grandchild. I didn't DO anything. I'm glad my granddaughter is okay and my daughter has custody. Young men need to be shown how to care for children.
The way he cried after finding out he's being charged and the way he "cried" over his daughter... two totally different cries!!! What a sick human this guy is
Something is wrong with the whole family. NOBODY is completely emotionless after a babys death! Will probably never know what really happened but I have no doubts his mom was involved also. It makes me sick to know this poor baby was killed by the very people who were supposed to care for her the most💔
It's so terribly sad. I recently heard a similar story, but the parents actually didn't abuse their baby. The baby had a rare genetic disorder that made his bones very fragile, like glass, osteogenesis imperfecta. It took months to figure that out, and they lost all their kids (the state took them away), and they had to fight to get them back. Very different situation than here, but it is shocking nonetheless.
WOW! I have a friend back in the 70's whose baby was later diagnosed with that, but not before an investigation was launched, during birth she had a broken arm and 2 ribs due to the trauma of the birth, also according to mom, one of the suspicions the Dr had was the white of her eyes was indictive of osteogenesis imperfecta and immediately ran tests but baby was in CPS until all charges were cleared and that took 8 months, 8 months her baby girl wasn't with her, she also found out this is genetically driven and she got a divorce as this was too traumatic for the young parents - fast forward later, she remarried and her other 4 kids are fine and she has home care for her 50 yr old daughter to this day
This happened to my husband's cousin. He was sent to jail for almost 2 years and the baby who had that condition and their other child (who had no injuries) were put into foster care. It took almost 2 years with the foster parents bringing the baby in with injuries they claimed they didn't do, go doctors to run tests and find out the baby had a condition and they let the dad out of jail and returned the kids. The family had to move because people weren't interested in the truth. Small town, Small minded people He never got an apology from the judicial system either. Heartbreaking
I love ads every 3 mins especially when they are 2-3 themselves and since 3 mins passed, guess what? New ads play again. Having it my way and I'm lovin' It!
His mother knew exactly what happened to that baby!! She should have been arrested as well and the fact that Raija’s mom let them watch that baby in those living conditions is beyond me.
She might have if they would have been able to prove it, or if they had put some pressure on the calling his mom aspect, but maybe they just didn't pursue it. My guess is that he called his mom and told her what happened and she rushed home to help and for them to get their stories straight, but she never actually told him to call 911. Because she wasn't surprised at anything. She seemed to just know.
@deborahhall7278 I said the exact same thing, she didn't like the babys mom and maybe took it out on the baby. Either she did it or knows who did. Absolutely no reaction to hearing about the baby's injuries or being told she died is not normal !
I can't be fully satisfied with this case until I hear a sound explanation and confession from Jayden. I feel like there's something beyond what is being told. It's super scary what happened 😢
He did something horrible to that baby - he had anger issues, maybe because she was teething she was fussy and crying, and he got mad and hurt the baby!! May her little soul rest in peace. Hope that monster gets what he deserves in jail!!
Something like what? It's pretty obvious he intentionally killed the baby because he didn't want to be part of her life. The mother even seems to be relieved that she is no longer part of her life as well. You can live in denial all you want but that's the reality.
I think I can guess… The times we see him pop out he was trying to pick up; but he couldn’t get anything. Then when his daughter was crying, the sober him who was clucking for some weed got angry and beat her. The fact he went to go smoke shows you where he placed his weed over his dying daughter (at his hands). I think one thing we can all be satisfied with is he is getting the treatment he deserves in prison; a big Nazi screwing Jim from behind for the next 100 years 👍🏽
I watch a lot of these interviews and it amazes me how calm people are knowing a family member is seriously hurt or dead, especially a baby. Even the child’s mother seems so calm about it all. I would be hysterical to the point I couldn’t even talk knowing my baby is in a coma or dead. I panic when I think something is wrong with my dogs. I’ll never understand emotionless people.
Its not having a connection of any sort that makes sense. I've been called about family members who have died, that i was around growing up, but I never really cared about. When I learned they died, felt nothing still, because I never really cared about them. My cats? Yea, im going to be worried, because I care about them.
Right, the mother was so calm and collected. I wouldnt even be able to speak nor would i be there, i would be right at my babies bedside. Reagardless if I was summened for a interview or not. Babies having babies.. Here is the result. He is a monstor, and the rumours of the mother puting her in the basement and covering her with clothes to muffle her crying is disgisting.
Look I'm 17, I have a half brother from my stepmother, the kid is barely 4 months and my heart races everytime I hear him cough. A couple weeks after he was born we were sitting me and my family in the living room and my half brother started coughing and gasping for air and immediately I felt like "yup hes gone", luckily my dad knew to position him in a way where he could breath and the whole thing probably lasted half a minute and describing it right now makes me relive it. I cried for a couple days afterwards. Raija was 8 months old, by that point you as the parent or close family member know her as a new family member and instinctually want to protect her. Watching this even having experienced a mere fraction of what happened in jaydens story is just disgusting. I feel repulsed by jayden and his mother and I think the only redeemable person in his family is his dad. He acted accordingly, so did Rihannas family. With something like this I'd be yelling and cussing left and right. The apethy in jaydens demeanour is nothing but repulsing, not only because of the abuse, but considering that he was doing it to a baby- you have to be a monster to conflict lethal harm to a helpless baby who looks up at you as though you were their god. This world is fucked.
Child abuse is at an all time high… neglect is is at an even higher level than ever… what do you mean by your family member gasping? After being beat up? Or you mean like, baby ended up choking on some spit up type thing, to which your instinctual Like panic sets into motion!? Heart sinks, stand up all crazy fast lol? But I’m not trying to be disrespectful. I may have read it wrong. I’ve been up almost all night. I’m 37 btw, professional Tattooer, north side of Chicago.
I'm a big sister, 33, we lost my 1st little sis at 6 weeks to SIDS and the next is now 26 and my best friend. It was exactly 1 week before my 5th birthday and I remember it so vividly still.. Both my babies I didn't sleep for the first few months, checking them all the time, had breathing monitors etc - I exist only for them at this point, how anyone could hurt a baby, their own baby, is so beyond me... if anyone hurt my babies I'd stop at nothing to get my justice. Peace and love ❤
@@heathergates3168 My partner and I did the same when our son was born. He slept in a moses basket on his father's side, my partner slept with his hand gently on our son's chest so he could feel it moving and I would wake up what seemed like every 10 mins to nudge my partner to check him or to put a finger under his nose. It might seem a bit obsessive but honestly I don't care and I definitely wouldn't give a **** what anyone would have thought about it back then. He is my baby, my world and we were new parents. I can't even begin to describe the feeling I felt the incredible over whelming need to protect and love my son, was there from the second I found out I was pregnant and even more so when he was born. Years later reading and watching things I was so surprised that mothers/parents put their new borns in their own rooms n what not. 😲 Our boy is 14 years old now and is still my world. I haven't been able to have any more children 😢 so I know that he is even more of a special gift. We are here to love, guide and protect our children. So this story is just heartbreaking. That poor baby. 😢
I said the same thing. This evil so-called grandmother did this, I'm telling y'all. That boy loved that little girl and was devastated she died. The grandmother? Didn't even bat an eye when she's told that beautiful little angel passed??? No, remember, he said, ..."when I called my mom she wasn't that far," and that "....she got there quick?" "She(mom) was just down the street". But, she supposedly lived across town. Nobody is listening to what and how the grandmother had the opportunity because police are so focused on it being the boy/dad.
@@ADJenks You nor I really know if he or his mother did this horrible thing. I don't believe he is guilty, I believe his mother did it. I can agree to disagree and be alright, can you?
I think Toni was a dealer (and a user) as she was always popping in and out the house, going here, there and everywhere (dealer)? No emotions at all, which is why I’m feeling “user”. Even I shed a tear for that baby. Not the most twisted case ever told by EWU, but certainly horrific, and I’ll never understand the mentality of a parent that could purposely hurt their own child.
Yeah, I got the same feeling. Lots of "stopping to see a friend" for 5 mins. It's def suspicious. She doesn't seem fazed by what her son is being accused of doing.
This had me crying as a father and for the family to show no remorse for the news of Rajas passing. This just shows the lack of emotion or attachment the Jayden’s family had toward Raja. Which could be an example of how Jayden was treated as a child and ultimately resulted in him doing what he did to that beautiful baby girl. R.I.P baby girl you are safe from whatever choas surrounded you and would have plagued you and traumatized you in the future.
Jaydens mother acted like she couldn’t have cared less what happened to that baby. She was absolutely beautiful. I don’t know how anyone could do ANYTHING harmful to a child. ANY CHILD. Pure hatred and evil.
All these captions with the different colors, all these videos of the suspects, AND THE NARRATOR IS THE BOMB 💣 This is great work. Narrator breaks it down, explains it and even color codes some of the captions.
100 years in prison is the best thing I heard in this video, what I’m wondering is, why did a baby in 2002 named Brianna Lopez who in fact was tortured, raped and murdered in her short 5 months didn’t get the same justice. Her biological father who did this has a chance of parole and could be release in 2025. How unfair and this is in fact the worse thing this nation has heard of.
It’s pretty confusing that your reaction to this video is to bring up a bunch of details about some unrelated case from who knows where, ( or why) Why disrespect what happened to this baby girl by ignoring it , or comparing it, or whatever all that is about?
I don’t think it’s disrespectful. All she is doing is pointing out the inconsistencies within the legal system. She’s not saying the father of this baby deserved any less.
@@DeeDee-rh1yc thank you. If any please consider reading about the baby brianna Lopez case. It’s a very strong case so it you can’t handle so much evil that’s okay.
Jayden's mom being emotionless was something else! How do you not want to break down crying knowing your own granddaughter is dead? It makes me wonder if she was prejudice or something. RIP sweet baby girl. Beautiful baby
There's so many differences and discrepancies in this story that it's really difficult to place total blame on just one person. The grandmother Toni seemed absolutely oblivious to everyone and everything around her. Very cold. I didn't get one vibe that she cared about that beautiful baby. Too many unanswered questions.
This case is shrouded in abuse. Rhianna very briefly said he had a demonic attitude or look. So what about behavior? The baby should not have been left alone with him or perhaps not that family. They play too rough. Who plays rough with a 8 months old baby? What is the truth per other children in the family?
thank you so much for taking the time to include accurate captions throughout the interrogation footage! it truly sets your channel apart from others who create similar content 🖤
Agreed! It’s unbelievable to me how many channels I see with large amounts of subscribers and millions of views on videos that are regularly put out that won’t even bother to be accessible with captions
@angelabrown8820 Pretty effed up to say especially young males. What about the recent case of the girl who chunked her baby in trash can? Oh, not that I think about it, most dumpster babies were dumped by their “mother.” There’s evil on both sides.
I’m shocked! A sentencing that actually fits the crime, 100 years for killing his baby, not a slap on the wrist and a decade or so and then he’s free. I actually had to listen to that part again to make sure I heard that correctly!
Yeah they need to make shaking baby a more known crime also those baby drop boxes to surrender them in safely if these kinds of parents can't deal with their child they need to make it more known there's other options then hurting your own baby that's awful I'm a mother to 5 n been through most of it alone more people need to learn to understand their child's cry's they only cry if something isn't right as long as their basic needs are taken care of their happy it's pretty basic ....I'm glad justice was served she was a beautiful lil angel on earth her time was shortened way too soon let her rest peacefully❤🙏
@@sweetdreamz1482 I’m a mother of 4! You’re very right, although they tell you about shaken baby syndrome in the hospital before you leave after having a baby, I don’t feel like they really explain just how violently you have to shake a baby to damage or kill them, and just how fast it can happen. If the penalty was higher for doing it, and all child abuse really, I think there would be more of a fear or consciousness of not harming babies and children. Like “I better sit this baby down and walk away because if I hurt them I will be in prison for 100 years” that’s a good motivation in my opinion
I think he was doing fireworks to hide the screams from baby because his mom was inside beating, and raging on the baby. I'm guessing she thought the her son and his girl were going to break up and baby would be raised by her daughter in law and her family and she didn't want that happening.
@@frances4797It’s advised to certainly make home noises so a child, gets used to noises. I’ve three kids and if a vacuum clean in the evening, when my youngest is a sleep, he doesn’t wake up. He is used to it since he was a baby. Same with my older kids. Staying quiet as a mouse isn’t the way when a baby is a sleep. It’s ridiculous. You do know in the womb they hear all kind of noises… It ain’t silent in there 😅.
@@NourKLI you know this in itself is probably the exact reason why theres deep sleepers and not deep sleepers. I cant fall asleep with any loud sound or inconsistent sound but low to mid constant sounds i can fall asleep.
The moment the lady detective came in and spoke about her severe injuries I was certain grandma knows what happened. He either told her or she just knows in her gut but she KNOWS he did this. No mother of an innocent kid would have just sat there quiet like that. She wasn't the least bit surprised by their accusations. Awful...
@@Caz-z1x I hear ya. And I suppose it is a possibility but I don't believe that to be true in this case. Knowing your grandbaby is hurt could shock you but I just can't believe that she had ZERO response to them accusing her son because of it. In shock or not, you'd be surprised by the accusation, defend your kid, cry, something. The nothingness of her response looks clearly to me like prior knowledge; like she was resigned to this line of questioning already. Not at all surprised by it. Even if that knowledge was simply that she already thought he did it due to previous experience with her son, his anger, etc. I could be wrong but in this case I truly doubt it.
People think having a baby is a joke .. it’s not easy you have to be patient, understanding, loving, giving, and mature and responsible enough … this family was definitely not parental material!!!!!! R.I.P Angel 😇 🌹🙏🏾 And the state of the home speaks Volumes
I'm feeling like God spared that baby decades of misery and ended her suffering early. If they were putting her in the basement covered in laundry. She was in for decades of torture at their hands.
I know. I don't get how anyone can hurt a child. I was told I couldn't have children and at age 34 I was heavily addicted to drugs. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I got off drugs and here I am today with a 5 year old and still clean. I knew my life was about the baby and I wanted him to have the best life. So it really hurts my heart knowing this kid could do that to his own baby. If he didn't want the baby he should have just walked away. This is just as bad as that girl who killed her baby when it was born in the hospital bathroom and put it in the trash. Humanity can be disgusting. I also forgot to mention my son's dad was an addict and also quit with me when we found out about me being pregnant too.
Watching this pregnant with my child, who is a girl. I am so utterly horrified at this “father” and “grandmother”. I’m honestly convinced the paternal family didn’t care for the baby because she was mixed, and never bonded with her. It’s so sad, she was such a beautiful baby, I hope the maternal side can heal ❤
I mean he wanted to smoke, chill and relax while his child was I'm PICU. Demonic. Before my sister passed from cancer, my dad barely rested. He was everywhere and anywhere my sis needed to be.
As a grand-mother I could have never behave like Jayder's mother.. It's shameful this lack of emotion and concern. Not surprising the son is this way. At least he is behind bars and will never hurt a child again. This little girl was so beautiful and what he did is unforgivable.
@@Meghan92Foo I think so too, theres no way she would hear all of this with a calm expression if she already didnt know about the abuse going on OR even joined in to hurt the kid
The Grandmother seems high af and seems to be standoffish and unconcerned. Almost like she isnt surprised. A mother knows her son, and knows deep down what they are capable of. I feel like new parents under 25 should HAVE to go to parenting classes and be CPR certified
She is absolutely 100% high on something, or coming down off of it. Her eyes are closed less than 5 minutes into the interrogation, she's not remotely present
@@BusinessSkrubou are spot on about that woman. She is not aware of what is being said at all. Her eyes were permanently closed. This is that beautiful baby's Grandmother. Shame on her!!!😡 And that house is like a rubbish tip. Filthy. That baby was never safe in that house. Poor little Angel. 😔💗
Jayden’s dad trying to control the interview and the detective saying yeah alright whatever man we’re charging you with murder. CHEFS KISS. Gagged that clown
You can tell he did not care for his daughter, nor the grandmother by watching them just blankly sit there and answer questions without any emotion. The fact that he had to find out about his baby’s death through the police just speaks volumes. This family did not go back to see her or ask how she was. Instead, they walked in at 2 am after being threatened to get a warrant. He thought he could get away with it. It is beyond me how people can do this to their own baby. I mean what parent hurts a child this way? Baby Raija, I hope you are resting in peace. 👼🏽
Generally true but i'd like to disagree...Personally, i don't react emotionally to any news no matter how disturbing it is...This trait personally got me scared when my favorite uncle died and everybody could express themselves outwardly emotionally but i simply couldn't (it became so concerning that i even try to fake it, and it is important to note that the only person i loved more than my uncle is my mom)...I may not be able to drive home my point with clarity of words but I simply can't express an emotion outwardly no matter how disturbing the news is or distraught that I may feel inside...Hence, if I was probably in this situation y'all would use this logic to justify your claim...I personally understand this because i've experienced many tragic experiences but never have i felt as emotionally drained as others commonly do
@@abrahamjamess I can understand what you mean, and firstly let me just say that I am sorry for your losses. I’ve experienced it myself and even though I’ve expressed my grief I can comprehend that we all do it differently. Tell me, am I wrong for thinking this kid did not care for his daughter’s well being when he did not even go back to the hospital to check on her? It’s not only the lack of emotion, but the lack of interest he had that a police officer broke the news to him. He should’ve been there if he was not detained, there was no excuse. Instead, he arrived at 2 am with mom after a stop at a 7 eleven drinking and eating. His casual demeanor was what gave many the impression he did not care. The state of the house was shocking. But not as shocking as how emotionless Toni was. Even after hearing her grand baby died, after hearing her sons charges and the fact that he's going to serve time for the end result. @@Daniel-zm1wtyeah I think she just didn't know what to do or how to react.. because she believed her son did it.. but didn't want to outright say it or blame him.. so just let the questioning continue and sat silent and unmoving because she literally didn't know what else to do.
If you watch closely, after they show Jayden take Raija outside twice (he kissed her cheek the second time) when he brought her back in she was limp then. He must have done something she they were outside. Don't get me started on the grandma. She must be in on it or already knows what he did. They are both sick.

By calling her an "it" she is minimising the crime by not saying "her" or "baby". "It" is much easier to say and is a common tell that someone is guilty when they do this. It's distancing. First suspicious thing to me was when Jaden said, I went to wake my baby from her nap. What parent in their right mind wakes a sleeping baby?
OMG I was thinking the same thing, why would you wake a sleeping baby.
I do.

I have to say, when the father was on the phone and tried asserting his authority about “no further questions. It's really _NOT_ that hard to be responsible when engaging in this kind of recreational activity.💯👌🎆

It’s a very very sad case and I feel terrible for that poor helpless baby 😢

Over 20+ forms of contraception and yet, people who have no business having children are still out here making them and then neglecting them ... this angers me to no end.
Edit: Seems I've caused some sort of divide, as I said in a reply: "My rational is, don't have intercourse to begin with if you're unable to accept the responsibility that could arise from it, abstinence is the most effective form of birth control. Stick to oral or abstain completely. Abortion should be the VERY last resort if there are complications, or if there's a very valid reason to consider it. adoption after birth is the better option."
(Though it can be argued that adoption could also be horrible for the child if they end up going from home to home without a forever family).

I felt like Toni breathed a sigh of relief when she was told that the baby had passed. Her coldness toward the whole situation was so shocking to me.
@@MissyBlongs2GodHe loved her??? How?? By being abusive to his lil girl?

I think Toni was a dealer (and a user) as she was always popping in and out the house, going here, there and everywhere (dealer)? No emotions at all, which is why I’m feeling “user”. Even I shed a tear for that baby. Not the most twisted case ever told by EWU, but certainly horrific, and I’ll never understand the mentality of a parent that could purposely hurt their own child.
This is a good observation. Also why have security cameras all over for that craphole of a house?
I think the mother did it and pinned it on her son.
Yeah, I got the same feeling. Lots of "stopping to see a friend" for 5 mins. It's def suspicious. She doesn't seem fazed by what her son is being accused of doing.
@@survivingitall5263 that's why she has cameras no drug addict has cameras. She's got to be a dealer ontop of a drug addict
I was thinking the same thing when they said she ran into a friends house and only stayed a few minutes, and she looks high as fuck
Different place, different court, different charges
It’s pretty confusing that your reaction to this video is to bring up a bunch of details about some unrelated case from who knows where, ( or why) Why disrespect what happened to this baby girl by ignoring it , or comparing it, or whatever all that is about?
@@icu3869 disrespect? Damn you snowflakes are weird.
Sue the fuck out of Mercy hospital there's no way baby girl had to go through this by herself Just sad
She's pissed the kid was biracial. Plain and simple. Probably happy about what happened but hid it
This case is shrouded in abuse. Rhianna very briefly said he had a demonic attitude or look. So what about behavior? The baby should not have been left alone with him or perhaps not that family. They play too rough. Who plays rough with a 8 months old baby? What is the truth per other children in the family?
@@iamthatbxtxh I have a feeling that you are right about that.
She was jealous of the baby's mom!! She sat there cold hearted asf! Totally enabled her sons behavior 😠😠😠
thank you so much for taking the time to include accurate captions throughout the interrogation footage! it truly sets your channel apart from others who create similar content 🖤
Agreed! It’s unbelievable to me how many channels I see with large amounts of subscribers and millions of views on videos that are regularly put out that won’t even bother to be accessible with captions
I only watch interrogation videos with captioning and there are not many of them. But EWU is in a league of their own.
Teenagers cheat on eachother.. and can lose their cool with a baby especially young males..
@angelabrown8820
Pretty effed up to say especially young males.
Yeah, no shit.
Yeah the prosecution smashed it on this one. 👩🏾⚖️👏🏾👏🏾
I thought it was so sad. His mom did it and let her boy get locked up for it.
When the mom said “I wasn’t there” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Setting off fireworks DURING THE DAY while your 8 month old INFANT is NAPPING?? Okay, buddy.
My thoughts exactly, who lets off Fireworks during the day, whats the point of that
I think he was doing fireworks to hide the screams from baby because his mom was inside beating, and raging on the baby. I'm guessing she thought the her son and his girl were going to break up and baby would be raised by her daughter in law and her family and she didn't want that happening.
Exactly. We couldn't even make popcorn while the baby was napping! 😂
Awful...
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
You clearly don’t know what it’s like to be in shock.🤦🏽♀️ his mom could be in shock, u don’t know these people personally.
💯
Mom looks bored. Prob on heroin
People think having a baby is a joke .. it’s not easy you have to be patient, understanding, loving, giving, and mature and responsible enough … this family was definitely not parental material!!!!!! R.I.P Angel 😇 🌹🙏🏾
And the state of the home speaks Volumes
I'm feeling like God spared that baby decades of misery and ended her suffering early. If they were putting her in the basement covered in laundry. She was in for decades of torture at their hands.
Enough people have children to know that. It’s simply some evil people in this world. We gotta start being real about that.
@@lenacheneyCongratulations on your sobriety and starting your family ❤
That’s why kids shouldn’t be having babies!! Both were too immature to be raising a child!!
"I can fix him." That logic never leads to anything good.
There is no freaking way that the mother had no idea that Jayden was abusing their baby. How she wasn't charged with anything is shocking
Fr, seeing a demon in someone, staying with them, and having a whole baby with them, AND RAISING THE BABY WITH THEM is crazyyyy
All his emotion came out when he was arrested- not when it came to his daughter. Tells you everything you need to know.

I feel like new parents under 25 should HAVE to go to parenting classes and be CPR certified
She is absolutely 100% high on something, or coming down off of it. Her eyes are closed less than 5 minutes into the interrogation, she's not remotely present
You just have to use common sense as a parent and be a decent person
And if they don't pass a quiz on what they learned then, like a license, their right to have kids should be REVOKED for life!

He didn't cry until he was told he was under arrest.
@ambermchugh9381 Yeah, all the stops for food seemed really odd
The state of the house was shocking. But not as shocking as how emotionless Toni was. Even after hearing her grand baby died, after hearing her sons charges and the fact that he's going to serve time for the end result. Is it just me or is it weird that the GRANDPA was the first to make any sound after hearing his granddaughter died?
Imo she seemed upset when she found out, but that she was trying to stay strong to get through the interview.
