Looking good I have the rear link riser I haven’t installed it yet but this weekend it’s going on & the rest of my H Tech stuff. I just received a Injora order so I have a few items for mine. I have Treal link mounts I believe they have 3 setting holes I also have the pan hard mount. I have to order the HTech front grill I have the Red Ascent. I’ve got Rock Pirates red shock mounts & body stiffeners & Desert Lizard shocks. I have Treal metal axle on the front & waiting on the rear. I swear I’m almost done 😂. Next few day here in the Ojai Ca. area is going to be freezing with a high of 55 deg & low of 37. It cracks me up that’s summer weather for some. 😂
Nice!!! Sounds like you’re gonna have a super sweet ascent! I’d love to see it when you’re “done”! 😂 I’m really tempted to try some treal axles so I’d definitely like to see your build 👍👍
Thank you sir. I have been super impressed with h-tech parts. Fit and finish is excellent. So glad the video was a little helpful. Thanks so much for watching!!
I’ve heard of that DSM chassis but haven’t looked into it yet. Definitely will, you’re not the first one to suggest it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!🙏👍
Very nice. I like the vids. FYI it's called a C.H.M.S.I.L. in the automotive manufacturering world. Pronounced "chimsl" in the shop. Center High Mounted Stop Indicator Light.
Thanks so much! Still not 100% sure how to pronounce that “chimsl” but good to know nonetheless. Did not know that. Thanks for watching and commenting! Much appreciated!👍
very nice, clean job, you have about the best looking one i have seen, did you check the gears in transmishion, are they plastic or metel???? sooooo clean
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! Yes sir, I added the mild overdrive gears and greased everything up while I was in there. They are plastic gears.
It’s better than something like the FMS 1/10 Atlas but not as good as say the element Ecto, vanquish or an axial. The front end setup is its short fall, particularly the front axle and output drive shaft angle. I’m not familiar with bump steer, it maybe happening and I just don’t know. Not sure. Thanks so much for the comment and watching!🙏
Yeah looking good man. Love the lights and the tail light for the Rear window looks good. Testing in the cold can be a bit of a hassle with testing wheels but it should give you an idea how they run. Nice overview. Like the way it came out. Oh and are we EVER really finished when it comes to our rigs? lol
Thank you I really appreciate that. I had high hopes for those Injora tires and silicone inserts but I’ll be posting a couple videos today with the comparison and I was a little disappointed. Always appreciate your input!! Thanks so much for watching! 🙏👍
When I first saw them I thought to myself They don't look like they would fill out the tire.. Right to the edges. As if you cut the corner off the insert before using them. I guess that is suppose it increase traction?? @@NEO-RC
They fill out tire nicely but not sure if the contoured insert did much of anything or if it the temperature outside but traction definitely was an issue.
Hello,
Great video and was very interesting again!👍

When you can I highly recommend you get the DSM Offroad Rock Warrior chassis. It's worth the $100 in performance and weight savings.
I’ve heard of that DSM chassis but haven’t looked into it yet. Definitely will, you’re not the first one to suggest it.

What’s your thoughts on how the front end articulates compared to other crawlers? I’ve heard others complaining about bump steer

Which battery Trey did you order to fit the ascent ? There’s a couple different options on the website . Killer build btw
It was the mini plank battery tray.
Here’s the link & Thanks so much for watching!!
