I had one, been loving it for 2 years, then the rubber ring worn out rendering the pressure to escape. Replacing the ring not only expensive 20 euros and it is difficult to find. Note: the ring is made of rubber not silicone, thus worn out much faster. Now the electronic pressure cookers are all automatic and don't have babysit to adjust the temperature.

The product is a piece of junk: I bought one 4.5 liter from CoolBlue in Belgium, used it only 4 or 5 times before discovering the lid is locked and cannot be open anymore. The lids sliding knob is not moving down to unlock. The WMF service is of no use.
Junk german made, 150 euro goes to trash.

Sorry to read about this. You've just convinced me not to buy one. Thank you.

@@sashineb.2114 Buy a cheap Tefal, one third in price and works fine. Better than the overpriced faulty german junk.

@@hrh2092 Thank you. My niece has the Tefal one and we both like it. I've read other bad reviews for this expensive WMF pressure cooker. Sorry you got a bad deal and no service from them.
