- I did this at the end of the 8 hour stream. Thank you for supporting as always.
This is the world's first sub 16 P5 run. I'm so happy to grab this achievement.
We made history.

TAS is 13:38.80 but it’s out dated so 13:30 or 13:25 would be the current TAS with all the strats

Thank you for watching! Haha yeah, the keybinds were zxc and I moved them to vbn for the technique called insta wings (I actually did insta wings in the Absolute Radiance fight in my current pb!)

Thank you for your kind words! Well I lost at least 3 seconds to those lifeblood pickups, and some time to a few combats. Maybe there's 10s of timesave in this run.
Rainie knows more than me but I would say 15:30 is probably possible but unlikely

hey i was wondering why do u only have the default 5 mask instead of max i plan to speedrun p5 but still dont understand everything
It makes triggering fury easier and faster. For example, we only have to take one hit at Absolute Radiance to activate it with 5 masks.
GG! Why did you add 1.55 seconds to the time on screen?
It's because Grey Prince Zote can scream 1.55s earlier if you're killed by it, and you fight it again without reloading the file. And the rule is that we have to keep the time like the vanilla one.

That wasn't made in game. We edited the file with save editor.
If you want that save file, download it from the Hollow Knight speedrun community discord server is a faster way.
And the only difference between godseeker file and normal file is P5 credit roll after cutscene btw.

was it really good rng that pure vessel did that same attack twice where you got to get a bunch of hits in after the staggers?
Yes. Constant fury slashes deals a very good amount of damage in general, so that Pure Vessel pattern was very good. Plus, I haven't experienced the 2 focus attacks in any other of my runs I think
@@rainie923unrelated question but is there a trick to being able to get off so many horizontal attacks in the air on enemies or am i just bad. it always feels like im falling after two attacks.
@@shingrandfather Do you mean the shade cloak? The better dash that gives you invincible frames?
Or are you talking about the pufferfish attack that Troupe Master Grimm and Nightmare King Grimm do? In this case I suggest you move horizontally while jumping instead of just jumping directly up
@@rainie923sorry for not being clear with the question. I just meant in cases like when you’re fighting gorb and oblobbles. it feels like you get to have a lot of attacks in one jump. but looking at it again now, gorb i just need better timing and oblobbles you’re using shade soul in the air to stall. I’m bad at doing things in the air so I really need to improve that.
@@rainie923One more question. Is there a benefit to attacking upwards instead of sideways like when you do against lost kin? I thought since you already have steady body it doesn’t make a difference. I’m sorry for all the questions but i’m trying to get into speed running this and it’s hard to find info on the small details.
