no because a lot of the time we literally don’t know what the fuck we’re doing and then 12 hours we’ve somehow accomplished close enough to the result that we wanted and then wonder “what the fuck how did i do that”

I’ve never played this game, but this looks so good! This is honestly one of my favorite sculptures you’ve done, I love the dark purple, blue and black aesthetic! Update: I played it and finished it. It was a blast, I loved the challenge! (I played on normal, that was hard enough for me)
Be warned, I love the game to death, but it is difficult. Being a seasoned fighter in the game and exploring is almost a requirement to complete an ending. Otherwise, go for it!
@@Yellowredstone its more than difficult, this game makes you love it to the death ... be warned you might lose alot of hair and stress but hey we love the game , ive just got ending 1 and 2, died multiple time to get ending 3 against radiance (Ending 4 and 5 too much work)
@@parenthesiss Yeah, Hollow Knight is hard but you learn a lot as you progress. When I started it took me hours to beat Hornet with a couple charms and now I'm playing completely without charms or nail upgrades. You can really see your progress over time and everytime you lose you mainly get mad at yourself instead of the game.

it is genuinely my FAVOURITE all-time game. the combination of the lore, the writing, the art design, the gameplay and immersion, and the MUSIC.... i could go on about it for days. it's only 15 dollars and it was made by a team of 3-4 people, and it deserves to be sold for AT LEAST 25 dollars with how much gametime you can get out of it. buy hollow knight
Gotta say it always is a good week when Adam posts, I love his unique phrases for things, his funny comments, and the fact that he explains his steps (even his failed steps). Not to mention his skill for clay sculpting, it's a real motivation for me to continue on my own path for an art major

That is a cool choice and I'm in favor of it because most people want to see hornet or the hollow knight which makes sense but it's cool to see the other characters get some love too

Been meaning to pass along this materials tip in case you hadn't heard of it before: Aves Apoxie Clay mixed more-or-less equally with Green Stuff gives you a self-curing piece that cures rock-hard and is also sand- and carve-able. I picked the tip up from Tom Mason, a tabletop miniature sculptor who likes the combo for weapons, especially blades.
I saw this video in my recommended a while back and thought oh what the hell, i don't know anything about the game but I'll watch it. Finished the video and my interest peaked, got the game, and never looked back. Just wanted to thank you for this video and letting me find my favorite game I've ever played

I hope you know, when I saw the thumbnail, I literally zoomed in on the horns *spoilers for late-game* to check and see if this was indeed the titular character or if it was Ghost XD. Excellent job, the cloak's flow and motion as well as the *chef's kiss* mwah of the head shape being perfect are just amazing! Thank you for creating our best beetle needle knight! (Also that description of Hollow Knight was so good, I would describe it to friends as the game where you feel so great beating a boss and then go to the next spot and immediately get dunked on by a "weaker" enemy, but in such a fun way. An absolutely amazing game, would recommend to anyone who loves amazing story, lore, and mysteries, and wants to improve their "skills". I really believe Hollow Knight made me a better player for games in general, just because its difficulty curve is so good and teaches skills that can be applied to tons of different genres, even if you're not big on metrovanias, or even games in general (things like pattern recognition, connecting details, problem solving, and, yes, actual reflexes and motor skills. XD)) ((Also, since the description reminded me, if you want to meet another fun beetle knight protagonist and haven't already, the indie Bug Fables has one as well! He doesn't wield needles, but his teammate does! Very different in gameplay, but super solid if you enjoy anything like the old Paper Marios or strategized turn-based action-input rpgs, and Kabbu the beetle knight is an absolutely precious protector and the first of three protagonists you! It just made me laugh there's two beetle knight'd indies out there, that are both super great but super different!))
I find it interesting that you made the nail more like a typical sword, cause I’ve always pictured it more as a cone that spirals on itself, like the arm thing corrin does in smash bros

As cool as 3D printers are, and as much as I appreciate the effort it takes to sculpt in a virtual space, I'll always prefer watching videos like these, where the artist makes it all themselves in the real world.
This was a great sculpter of my favorite metroidvania game so it was real cool to see. Great work and maby you can make sculpters of other indie games like cuphead and mugman fighting the devil
As cursed and creepy looking it's nice and it looks good and I appreciate the clay build so I made it without using acrylic paint so I used some clay colors and it turned out beautiful
