he taught me to bs my way through everything I create lol I just painted the Abbey Road album cover but with actual beetles, and I literally eyeballed the whole thing. No sketching, no real plan, just vibes. I literally thought "What would Adam do?" when I was struggling to paint the cars
i love that this shark must have been made with cutting edge cyborg technology, and probably COULD have had a plasma cannon, yet still fires regular old cannonballs.
I'm always particularly impressed whenever you sculpt hard mechanical surfaces out of soft clay and somehow nail the look of it, I think that segmented shark tail is my favourite part of the sculpture by far!
This is my go to channel to watch things be painted in colour they already are. I fully appreciate priming gray shark white so that grey paint sticks better 🩶
I came up with this ideea, a Pirate ship made out of flesh with eyes for where the canons should be, a big mouth and a finger as a flag pole. I think that would look interesting and nightmare fuel

It’s like watching magic. The transformation of plain clay to cyborg shark fully immersed in an environment. I love the idea of “ failing upwards”. I’m gonna embrace that philosophy, I think. 😊
After seeing how awesome the yellow wash leeching into the resin in the deathclaw model, I have really wanted NoTB to make a specific design. It would be a diorama of the moment when a zombie dove into the water to bite a scuba diver. Load up the wounds with red washes and let the color leech into the resin just like the death claw effect but this time intentionally.
When he said cyborg shark, I couldn’t help but think of the shark from James and the Giant Peach, except that one had a harpoon shoot from its mouth. Awesome creation NOTB!

I was a *very* weird kid back in middle school, and I remember looking up different art hosting websites where people made anything and posted stuff- i.e. devianart or old tumblr -and very clearly remember searching up cyborg sharks. To see a physical model of such a verbose creation not even god himself would approve of has given me a sort of peace that I will never find anywhere in life. My shame is that I have but a single subscribe to give.
Your art is absolutely amazing Adam!! Thousands of people including myself wish that they could have the same skill as you!!! I found out about you years back and still love ur content. Also watching the process is better than skipping ahead. Watching every little detail and work put into these things. I wouldn't even be able to tell the amount of work you did and all the tiny details by just watching the end ❤️

Great idea with the grout! I'm often just lazy and tough the wet surface with a hardware store brush that's loaded up with heavily diluted dark grey paint, loads up several gaps at once when I stipple that and can sooner go to brushing off the excess on the high parts.
if i've learned anything from adams videos it's 1) he really like rust color 2) when he tries to do something and not mess up, it messes up, but when he wants it TO mess up, it stays just fine 3) he really likes sharks

I always feel like I'm criticizing the lack of trees and bushes in his builds. Just feels like you both spark a dream and idea where you can almost smell and feel the settings. Like maybe a bit of blood and rot smell mixed with old stagnate water. Wonder if you do have more expanded stories of your builds in your thoughts when you make things, or if you are only focused on the one moment caught in the builds?
If you put your finished model in the vacuum chamber (pressure pot) after filling it with the resin, you can remove the bubbles without having to worry about making more with pouring it. A little thing I saw Bobby Duke Arts do one time.
You could do a mimic shark. I think a bunch of mimic-themed creatures would be cool. A D&D there I heard about was a ship that’s run by mimics, so there are tons of mimics hidden amongst the merchandise.
A Dinosaur shark, a Dragon shark, a Radioactive shark, now a Cyborg shark? What's next, a Godzilla-inspired shark with glow-in-the-dark spikes!?
