6:00 For some reason I first thought that you were planning to add Nosk to the sculpt, but then the longer cloak made me realize its the Shade. The smokey effect for the white glowing eyes is so goood!!! The black 3.0 really brings that contrast out!
Hollow Knight is probably the game I've spent the most hours on and also the only one that I wish I could re-experience all over again. I'm so looking forward to Silksong

i have genuinely never seen someone put so much of the little details into sculpturing. the slight bits of his firey particles on the cloak, the extra bits of white “flame” on the shade’s eyes…

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork I have seen, and I can say with confidence you did more than 97.1% of accuracy on it. I’ve never played the game Hollow Knight, although I would like to-it gives me kind of Ori vibes in terms of the simplicity of the design which in turn brings out such beauty.

Found you through your Link sculpture and I've been following ever since, watching in absolute awe... I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that goes into capturing the process from all those different angles, working the lighting, recording everything in such a cinematic way and tying it all up in the editing. And all of that on top of sculpting such an amazing piece! Kudos to you man, and please keep doing what you do. I'll watch no matter how long the interval between projects.

Thanks thanks! Yeah that paint is fun... A little tricky. Sort of thick and gloppy and it's actually got a pretty weak finish because it's so matte but it looks so good.

the fact that the low effort crap ZHC and other big social media “artists” are putting out gets so much more recognition and appreciation than this truly boils my blood.
This channel, sculpture geek, might be home to the most beautiful, intricate, captivating, and impressive artwork I have ever seen from an artists channel. (not to mention the excellent videography). If i had the money to subscribe to anyone on patreon, it would be you my friend. Keep creating these masterpieces, because ultimately, a large following doesn’t equate a valuable following. And it seems to me like most of the people who watch your videos are just as impressed as I am.

Awesome sculpt and really loved your sharing the process. When you scaled down that standard airbrush fire stencil and used it with tweezers, I was like "Wow! Thats effin' brilliant!". Had to watch that part a couple times and take in your execution with it. Excellent work!
Thanks so much! Yeah, that’s a neat little trick I thought of, I wasn’t sure it was gonna work but I think it turned out ok. I didn’t want to mess with led’s and hollowing the head out etc… I thought A quick flame job would look cool on that super black paint.

Yeah, tbh that's basically why I became a sculptor. It started with wanting to make some Street Fighter statues lol. That lead to commercial sculpting for the toy and collectible industry and that lead to wanting to get back to making passion projects which is how I got here :) Thanks for watching!

I beat the game earlier this year and loved it, but one thing I gotta say is how amazing and genius the Knight's design is. Simple, buglike and instantly recognizable. And it wasn't originally designed for Hoolow Knight but rather a simple eat to stay alive game. Props to the artist who designed em and all the other enemies and characters in the game. Not to mention your sculpting of the Knight and his Shadow, truly magnificent!!!

Thank you! I'm not a huge fan of using polymer clay, I just had a bunch laying around and figured I'd use it to avoid molding the entire work. I think I could have done a better job in another material.

Thank you! Yes definitely recommend it. Simple to get into and the more you play, the better it gets. It took me a minute before I really started to enjoy it but once you dive in, it's very addictive and it's a long game so there's lots to explore.
