I keep shooting high and it's frustrating. I hope it get it ready before season.

Be patient with it. If you are consistently shooting high, then make the slight sight adjustment, otherwise practice makes perfect! You got this!👍🏼

Your top cam may be hitting before the bottom. Check your timing. It will cause you to hit high.

Stop grabbing the bow at the shot. Rest your finger tips lightly on the front of the riser. Grabbing actually moves the pin whether you can see it or not. Also, it’s obvious your draw length is short because your bow arm elbow is bent way too much. That arm should be almost straight out just barely barely bent at the elbow.

How to do measure yardage from a target when sighting in the bow?

There are multiple ways. You can step off the yardage and sight your bow in to the amount of steps/yards you set up at. You can also buy a rangefinder that tell you how far away you are from an object by aiming it at the target and pressing a button. They are nice but can be pricy. Usually you can get a reliable one for $100 and they go up in price from there. Hope this is helpful!

Is that what i need to do is seperate my pins evenly and then move the sight frame up or down to sight in ? Im new to bow shooting. I got a brand new x9 i sighted in at about 25ft for my closest pin i moved back to about 75 feet to sight in the second but i seem to be shooting high still and if i keep moving my pin itll be damn near touching my first pin. Which seems wrong to me. Any thoughts ?

It depends. How much weight you are pulling back and the weight of your arrows makes a big difference in what to do with you pins. You can start with them spaced out evenly. Sight the first one in for 20 yards, then move back to 30 and use your second pin and see what it does and if it needs to be adjusted then move the pin. Start with the first pin and build from there. Best of luck!

@@MidwestOutdoorExperience ok. Ill do that. I'm pulling close to 50lbs. Havnt made it to 70 yet comfortably. As far as arrows. I'm still using some mid priced ones from Walmart. Figured I'd work on form and consistency some more before I step into the world of which arrows are for me. Lol. It's alot all at once. So I'm taking small steps.

Most people shoot in yards not feet. Set your sight to yards rangefinders are in yards or meters.
