Very exciting episode, I seem to be watching a TLC channel show! Turkish breakfast is so rich, it’s a blessing to have so many dishes at once, I’m drawn to that corn cheese mash! Turkish candys and desserts are famous all over the world, it's great to see how they are made! I was attracted to that guava flavor, it looks so pretty! The mussel rice and yogurt dumplings look delicious too! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing!👍😄👏

In Turkiye, the most important meal is breakfast. People don't have it everyday, they tend to have a fast breakfast with some toast, sandwich... but they try to prepare a good breakfast for their children before the school. Also want to have a good breakfast at the weekends when all of the family members were together...

Hi Luke, thank you for your informative videos about Turkey, it's really great to see the country I live in through your eyes :) By the way, the 'ı' in 'kahvaltı' and 'mantı' is pronounced like 'uh', so 'kah-val-tuh' and 'man-tuh'. And Ş is pronounced like 'sh' and Ç like 'ch', so Paçacı Şemsi is 'Pah-cha-juh Shem-see'. Thanks again, I look forward to your future videos.
Evimde misafir ettiğim iki İtalyan'a böyle bir kahvaltı hazırladığımda şok olmuşlardı. Şaşkınlıkları ve memnuniyetlerini her hatırladığımda gülümserim. When I prepared such a breakfast for the two Italians I hosted at my house, they were shocked. I smile every time when I remember their surprise and satisfaction.
It would be nice if you could share the prices of the food you had in the video. Due to the extreme inflation rate, the local people are suffering with their depricated Turkish Lira. Istanbul is like a heaven for tourists who visit there with $ or € nowadays.

Hi Luke you did a bang up job promoting “Buy in Turkey” I’m sure you mentioned to the management they should have had you offer a promo code on their order as a first time purchaser. Culturally Turks can be very be very conservative in their pricing methodologies especially with westerners. They think everyone is a millionaire outside of Turkey. Even millionaires like value for their money especially for a first time purchase. I looked at their website and shipping cost to NYC. You would have to be very wealthy to try these beautiful products.
Unfortunately, Turkey is currently in a crisis period. Gaziantep pistachio, especially used in baklava, is grown in Turkey and is very expensive. That's why the prices may be too high for you. The price of a kilo of baklava is one-tenth of the money people earn in Turkey. In fact, we buy much more expensive.
