I can’t believe you didn’t open this with “The pain, the price, and THE PERMANENCE”. The alliteration was sitting there hitting the script writer in the face!
There are writers for short circuit? I thought it was supposed to be quick videos where they just kinda go on the fly (some prep in like what is the item and such) but otherwise it should be more reactionary
And it's more meaningful in this context than "commitment" too. You can get out of a commitment one way or another. Removing tattoos? Even with the best methods so far, your skin will never be the same again.
Prefer Riley. He doesn't "actually" say the "actually" worthless word "actual" all the "actual" time as he "actually' speaks, though you'd "actually" think Linus would have "actually" learned this by now..."actually".
I think the biggest problem was none of them actually figured out or even wanted to figure out exactly how it was working. Spending time with the app, maybe not using just apple shit? and then how does the actual print process work, does the unit have a motion sensing optic or does it just spit out the image and leave it to you to be moving at the right speed when it gets spit out? All of these are key to a good print.
Honestly, a lot of the issues can be sorted out with software. The device itself seems good, so really they just paid a bunch of money for publicly available beta testing.
Every comment is mentioning Sarah. Sarah has a very nice vibe and she progressed a lot in front of the camera. From a shy and reserved person to a super comfortable and vibrant personality. She really bloomed.
I think this is a problem. A lot of people have when they go in front of the camera, they're super worried and self-conscious, but then they slowly realize that that isn't really doing anything apart from making the content worse and making you not have fun and when you have fun on camera the audience will enjoy it. So just stop worrying about it, It also helps that Sarah has Linus like energy, which is what a lot of the viewers of these channels are accustomed to
Sarah! Seeing her in these videos always makes me smile, she's great. And love seeing more "off the wall" tech. Stuff like this, the Playdate, the Cricut and the... uh... lamp... show us some crazy stuff!
Like someone else pointed out, Sarah has almost Linus like energy and Maria has Luke like groundedness (I don't think that's exactly what they said, but Maria is quite similar to Luke), So they can just bounce off each other real well, If WAN show is ever on a Friday for the first hour or so they should have these two do the WAN show
I dont usually comment but I'd probably suggest to the team that they include a wheel that turns at the speed you're meant to move the prinker. So you press it to your skin and it turns. Obviously a very simple wheel might get hairs and such caught in it but something along those lines seems smart, if the software can't intelligently adjust to your individual movement speed (which to be fair sounds really complex)
If they aren't already, I think putting a cheap mouse optical sensor on the bottom would help greatly with compensating for speed and handling alignment better. Should also be reasonably cheap to add and not require that much processing power to handle
@@EikottXD the microcontroller in the unit almost certainly has an integrated timer as this is standard in nearly all controllers. This timer coupled with the black and white image data from the sensor (or vector data if the sensor features an integrated decoder) can be used to determine both speed and direction. Having those is enough for the controller to perform rudimentary tracking and adjust which part of the image it jets onto the skin and when as it is moved to prevent distortion.
I know everyone has bad days, but Sarah seems like that sort of special person, who’s able takes those days in stride and turn them right the f around 😊
Thank you for this video! Always great to see the staff having so much fun with one another in a semi scripted environment. It really makes me want to see multiple hosted video content more. @@sheep4483 If it is written horizontally, usually yes, you are mostly correct. But if written vertically (top to bottom), the next "row" is to the left. Vertical writing is the traditional way and still very common, especially in paper writing, although academic papers and foreign nowadays are left to right. Software also generally uses left to right writing, likely because of compatibility reasons. These are a consequence of post-ww2 western influence, as horizontal text was also right to left before. Sarah is the best presenter !!😊 Never miss nay video with her)) Secret shopper with her was the best, rewatched it several time how nice she was with the support people.
I'm laughing so hard that no one seemed to notice the size of the tattoo underneath the image which makes the tiny ones hilarious because they don't even expect it
Living in a college city all I can think about is taking this to a stadium game or one of the super popular student bars and selling custom school spirit tattoos.
On Aliexpress, I brought 20 a4 sheets of temporary tattoo paper and adhesive for £40 to give out at an event, it's a bit of a pain to print them and of course printers don't print white, so on darker coloured skin they won't work too well, but otherwise they look significantly better than this product and they're a lot cheaper!
Like a decade ago and ex and I had an idea to buy a airbrush kit and then make stencil tatoos. I think I ordered some expensive ass airbrush kit and then cancelled realizing I would do a horrible job. Still no tattoos but I lost half my body weight and will get them when I am at the form I want. This thing is pretty cool. Enjoying this video and I am only halfway through. Good job LTT team and Sarah! More tech-adjacent products!
Seems like a better product would be something that prints temp tattoo sheets that are applied after the print instead of printing straight on skin. Less flashy but actually might work
Im guessing that the "resize" problem is actually solved by cropping the source image as tight as possible. The software isnt smart enough to remove white borders so you are printing a bunch of blank space.
Sarah not catching on that the 18mm max-width is the reason that all of the "prinks" are coming out microscopic - really made this video so much better 😂
The idea of trying tattoos is great and yeah, for party purposes this is amazing, I'd rent one for my wedding! Staying hopeful this kind of tech gets good at some point. For actual ownership, the ink cartridge is a major turnoff, a replacement probably costs half a new device.
