While she isn't exactly the best in Marvel 2 (I mean... it's Marvel 2), she has some busted shit - not only does she have *_7 JUGGLE VARIATIONS,_* one of which is just her Jumping Light Tatsu repeated numerous times, but the Dark Sakura install courtesy of Doctor Strange gives Sakura access to an 18-hit unblockable Level 3 super (more damaging than any other Raging Demon in the game for some reason AND NOT INCLUDING DAN’S REVERSE RAGING DEMON) and a teleport that can even bypass *_HYPER SENTINEL FORCE._* Also, nice video - you earned a sub.

Fun extra bit with Venom/B.B. Hood glitch, if you have an assist like Bison's Psycho Field assist kill them before B.B. Hood grabs them, she'll finish the super on the dead character and they'll get stuck on the screen. It completely breaks the combo counter, since everything counts as a combo after that point. As far as I know, it's purely visual, doesn't interfere with scaling or anti-stun.
Listen, no shade on your music tastes but you should really have just stuck to using chill mvc music in a vid like this. Its really hard to read and follow the visual examples when i have an autotuned japanese man screaming in my ear with the worst FL studio beat behind it.
~3 minutes in, i can tell this was made with the right intentions, but i think you got a little too attached to some details that ended up hanging on certain 'bullet points' longer than necessary (alongside the seconds of footage you gathered for everything) this seems like itll be a good introductory-type video for people that dont know much about marvel 2, but in terms of an 'x is broken' video, the pace isnt nearly as fast as the others since youre going over so many things & the short and sweet format of the others is part of why they were successful videos. if you got the necessary permission, using clips of things in actual matches might provide clearer examples of why certain things are good (like storm jHP and magneto crLK) instead of showing the move three or so times. after i'm done watching i'll make a reply comment for more extensive feedback! this kind of video is something multiple people have considered but you beat them to it
- 30 seconds is unfortunately much too long to have gotten into the video, i think most of the introductory text could have been left out / you only really needed the first 3 lines - 0:30 explaining the button layout is helpful but not exactly necessary to understand what makes the game broken beyond what to call normals (while mediums can be done by pressing any light twice, some characters can go from LP to LK if they press LK, while others go from LP to MK if they press LK. mediums are about pressing any light after a light makes contact and it doesnt have to be the same button twice. you werent wrong, but theres more to it than there might seem. for the characters who can't do L->M->launcher, they can still do L->launcher so its not really bad for them to not have the medium in front, the combo will just scale a little differently without it) - 1:21, like in my first comment, i think if you got permission to use match footage, you couldve shown practical examples of what makes certain attacks broken, rather than just showing the move for 5 seconds - 2:06 to around 2:56 couldve been omitted, its still good knowledge but a dedicated 'roll sucks' portion couldve gotten the idea of 'some characters are SO bad' across - the special moves section could be tightened up some, i think the guile piece couldve been omitted, showing air ryu fireball is a good example of how mvc2 takes some characters up a notch from what you'd expect (i dont think kens air tatsu is a scaling error/glitch at all, i think they just [for whatever reason] made each hit really strong and it results in high damage combos) a list of moves you think are 'good' is nice, but i think you shouldve shown moves that people *know* are 'broken' wouldve been a better fit. most of the examples before 5:33 are good ones! - for the assist section at 5:40, i think you couldve explained why venom not having a (traditional) anti air is a bad thing, and why he would want one (space, but especially *air* control in this game is very important). while its wise to pick assists that cover your characters' weaknesses, it's also just as important to consider assists that enable them further while leaving that weakness exposed. teams like Magneto Storm Sentinel or Strider Doom Sentinel dont have a common anti air assist, but they get the job done with their overwhelming damage potential & the assists chosen supplement that - i would say 6:19 is the first 'x is broken' bit in the video so far. you bring up something and show it off while explaining what goes into why it's broken: its huge hitbox, fast frame data, and high damage (also trons assist like ken tatsu just does a lot of damage for whatever reason, i dont think its a scaling error or glitch either. it could easily be an oversight though! it would lowkey be an average assist if it did the same damage that her crouch MK actually does when she's the point character) - 9:04 dan and servbot could go into a 'horrible character spotlight' segment like i suggested for roll earlier. felicia's cat spike assist is indeed kinda trash, but sand splash is also a viable option alongside delta kick. i personally think bone wolverine has different assists so that hes even more distinguished from the regular one. his assist options might be on the weaker side as a result, but if they had the same assists then there might not be much reason to pick one wolverine over other wolverine - as a strider 'player' that uses the eagle assist, while it may cover an odd angle that isnt conventionally useful, it also doesn't throw him into harm's way the way his vajra teleport kick assist does. it only deals 1 less damage than vajra while also keeping him relatively safe, and the bird's angle lets you get combo extensions with the right setups (like doing air combos into air supers, or just tacking on some extra damage to an opponent sent into the air) - 10:53 heal assists only heal *red* health, the same health that recovers when you switch characters. you can't use them to get back to full health because of this distinction, but it's true that most of the time you'll be picking a different assist for those characters anyway. while some assists like omega red's ground assist (and dan/roll/servbot) are *effectively* useless, there are still ways to get niche usage out of them if you experiment enough- i like to think theres at least *sooome* merit to every assist, even the launchers - 13:57 i think the 'cutoff' zones for things like projectiles and stuff only exists on the sides of the screen, and since it only moves vertically, it's still 'in play' or something. i dont really know but i think this glitch is my favorite - 16:50 here we go! more broken stuff, for worse and for better - 19:49 only one of hayato's plasma combos end's with an overhead (the others end with mids), and the only low options are on the 4th hit of specific routes. the cancel windows on the routes are pretty lenient, so he can do some frame traps if the player is tricky enough. plus, most of the hits can be special and super cancelled, so theyre one of his key ways to guarantee damage! one thing you missed about him is that his plasma field super (the bubble) gives him infinite meter until the timer runs out, which is a pretty nice and unique strength on an otherwise fine character (spending 1 bar for a level 3's worth of damage can make or break a match, especially if he can hit OTG and do it a second time) - 26:36 i wouldnt say psy charge sucks *hard*, for a hitgrab i think its pretty alright. after it, cable's in that sick pose until he moves, and it actually can be combod into (even if he has better options...) plus you showed it against sentinel, who has the most defense in the game! anything would have bad damage on him - 27:14 most characters can wave dash by cancelling their dash with crouch and then dashing again (unless you mean like the smash brothers kind, in which case only some of the airdashers can) so thats not really a pro for storm like i said in my first comment, this would be a great 'introductory' kind of video, even with its length it still provides a good idea of the kinds of things the game has to offer and what makes it so unique that its seen competitive play since release! as a 'x is broken' video, i feel like you had a lot of the right kinds of information, but like some other comments have said, the way you presented it didnt always match what the other 'x is broken' videos have established as the 'format', as sometimes you had too much footage for something or had more things to say. i acknowledge and respect the effort you put into getting this video out there and i think you did a good job! i hope that my feedback can help you in future videos or if you / someone else tries to tackle this idea again! (i tried to keep it mostly objective and worded constructively based around it being an 'x is broken' video)

Probably 98% of DS owners have never heard of it, but if you have played it, then it's very likely that both you fell in love with it, and it played a massive role in your development as a person. (Guilty) Part of its dev team actually worked on Kingdom Hearts, and 3 of the main characters in TWEWY appear in Kingdom Hearts: Drop Dead Distance on the 3DS as npcs.

Morrigan's crouching LP has 2 hits; she can break Sentinel and Juggernaut super armor if she caught them slipping. Her hitbox is pretty small to where she can crouch certain attacks (maybe 3rd smallest after Roll?). Her soul eraser is probably to most slept lv1 super in the game; does no chip and damage is horrible full screen *however* if you're hit a certain distance and mash, it can do 40% - 50% of damage. Not sure how much exactly but you can tell as soon as you see the other person's health bar drop very quickly when you compare the distances of when her Soul Eraser. Ruby Heart is secretly A+ tier maybe S with the right team yet no one has unlock her full potential. In my opinion, she's very similar to Spiral in terms of locking things down and mobility but Spiral just happen to have better moves. Her teleport what makes her S; Ruby Heart LV1 Super air super but if you do it in 'tiger-knee' motion, you're able to gain invincibility for that frame. Ah! I miss Marvel, ACTUAL Marvel. It's amazing how there's new tech always being discover especially after playing UMVC3 for a bit. I can't wait for my copy in the mail this Friday. :)
It will always be hilarious to me that Wolverine is a top tier character in all of these Capcom games *except* the one that has two versions of him in it. I remember there would be people in the arcades who would pick Cable just to do Air Hyper Vipers, and almost nothing else with the character. It still worked too, because AHV was that dumb. Not covering an assist, or getting a Team Hyper Combo blocked against a Cable with 3 or meters was the same as saying you don't want your assists anymore since Cable was going to kill them.
Only reason war machine is even in any of these games is because capcom wanted to avoid a tiff with acclaim, who at the time of MVC1’s development had the license to iron man

Cable's aHVB is 90% of the reason why he's broken; the other part is that he can 'armor break' incoming opponents. Using good timing with air heavy, you can time it so the projectile hits as they enter, and won't recover until they hit the ground, leaving them open for a few frames. Magneto has a 1-frame cr. L, meaning most of the cast starts the round blocking, except Mega Man, who can trade due to his 1-frame cr. L. He also has triangle jumps that are fast, leading to ambiguous mixup, including overheads, lows, and throws leading to full-combos. He also can easily weave in lights into his combos, leading to resets that are easy to recover. Storm has triangle jumps, too, but her greatest strength is being a battery without contention. That is, she can super jump and whiff heavy to build meter in combination with float when necessary and there aren't many in the cast who can contend with that. No Hailstorm? No problem! Hailstorm also deals incredible chip damage, allowing Storm to always be able to pressure an opponent. She's still paying for her crimes in future installments. Sentinel, through use of his flight, can call assists at super jump height, something that's very limited within the cast of MvC2. With the right assists (Commando, looking at you), this makes judging where the assist was called incredibly difficult. He, too, is paying for his crimes.
I remember being a teen and playing this in 2000-2002. Was difficult beating my friend, who was equal to me, when he played Magneto. This was before we knew about the games brokenness. Took me 1.5 characters to kill Mags usually. This is how I figured out the game was broken. So, naturally, I (and a friend who also played) argued online on forums about why the game was broke. We were met with "you shouldn't have gotten hit" and "you're just a scrub". Years later, universal consensus became the game is broke. *Shocked Pikachu face* YOU THINK!? I still hold a grudge against people to this day about the whole thing. 😅

- 10:53 heal assists only heal *red* health, the same health that recovers when you switch characters. you can't use them to get back to full health because of this distinction, but it's true that most of the time you'll be picking a different assist for those characters anyway. while some assists like omega red's ground assist (and dan/roll/servbot) are *effectively* useless, there are still ways to get niche usage out of them if you experiment enough- i like to think theres at least *sooome* merit to every assist, even the launchers
- 13:57 i think the 'cutoff' zones for things like projectiles and stuff only exists on the sides of the screen, and since it only moves vertically, it's still 'in play' or something. i dont really know but i think this glitch is my favorite

- 19:49 only one of hayato's plasma combos end's with an overhead (the others end with mids), and the only low options are on the 4th hit of specific routes. the cancel windows on the routes are pretty lenient, so he can do some frame traps if the player is tricky enough. plus, most of the hits can be special and super cancelled, so theyre one of his key ways to guarantee damage! one thing you missed about him is that his plasma field super (the bubble) gives him infinite meter until the timer runs out, which is a pretty nice and unique strength on an otherwise fine character (spending 1 bar for a level 3's worth of damage can make or break a match, especially if he can hit OTG and do it a second time)
- 26:36 i wouldnt say psy charge sucks *hard*, for a hitgrab i think its pretty alright. after it, cable's in that sick pose until he moves, and it actually can be combod into (even if he has better options...) plus you showed it against sentinel, who has the most defense in the game! anything would have bad damage on him
- 27:14 most characters can wave dash by cancelling their dash with crouch and then dashing again (unless you mean like the smash brothers kind, in which case only some of the airdashers can) so thats not really a pro for storm
like i said in my first comment, this would be a great 'introductory' kind of video, even with its length it still provides a good idea of the kinds of things the game has to offer and what makes it so unique that its seen competitive play since release! as a 'x is broken' video, i feel like you had a lot of the right kinds of information, but like some other comments have said, the way you presented it didnt always match what the other 'x is broken' videos have established as the 'format', as sometimes you had too much footage for something or had more things to say. i acknowledge and respect the effort you put into getting this video out there and i think you did a good job! i hope that my feedback can help you in future videos or if you / someone else tries to tackle this idea again! (i tried to keep it mostly objective and worded constructively based around it being an 'x is broken' video)

Morrigan's crouching LP has 2 hits; she can break Sentinel and Juggernaut super armor if she caught them slipping. Her hitbox is pretty small to where she can crouch certain attacks (maybe 3rd smallest after Roll?). Her soul eraser is probably to most slept lv1 super in the game; does no chip and damage is horrible full screen *however* if you're hit a certain distance and mash, it can do 40% - 50% of damage. Not sure how much exactly but you can tell as soon as you see the other person's health bar drop very quickly when you compare the distances of when her Soul Eraser.
Ruby Heart is secretly A+ tier maybe S with the right team yet no one has unlock her full potential. In my opinion, she's very similar to Spiral in terms of locking things down and mobility but Spiral just happen to have better moves. Her teleport what makes her S; Ruby Heart LV1 Super air super but if you do it in 'tiger-knee' motion, you're able to gain invincibility for that frame. Ah! I miss Marvel, ACTUAL Marvel. It's amazing how there's new tech always being discover especially after playing UMVC3 for a bit. I can't wait for my copy in the mail this Friday. :)

It will always be hilarious to me that Wolverine is a top tier character in all of these Capcom games *except* the one that has two versions of him in it.
I remember there would be people in the arcades who would pick Cable just to do Air Hyper Vipers, and almost nothing else with the character. It still worked too, because AHV was that dumb. Not covering an assist, or getting a Team Hyper Combo blocked against a Cable with 3 or meters was the same as saying you don't want your assists anymore since Cable was going to kill them.
Only reason war machine is even in any of these games is because capcom wanted to avoid a tiff with acclaim, who at the time of MVC1’s development had the license to iron man

i think the weird part about servbot's assists and specials that summon the servs... i think they are just singular versions of the ones from the supers thus dealing little damage cause they are supposed to come in with swarms of them... i could be wrong though. and naturally the grabbing serv is from tron's move

Iron Man's Unibeam has a WEIRD Bug(?) It does MORE damage on Blocking Characters then taking the damage outright.

MvC2 is so busted that characters have to have ToDs just to qualify as mid
Cable's aHVB is 90% of the reason why he's broken; the other part is that he can 'armor break' incoming opponents. Using good timing with air heavy, you can time it so the projectile hits as they enter, and won't recover until they hit the ground, leaving them open for a few frames.
Magneto has a 1-frame cr. L, meaning most of the cast starts the round blocking, except Mega Man, who can trade due to his 1-frame cr. L. He also has triangle jumps that are fast, leading to ambiguous mixup, including overheads, lows, and throws leading to full-combos. He also can easily weave in lights into his combos, leading to resets that are easy to recover.
Storm has triangle jumps, too, but her greatest strength is being a battery without contention. That is, she can super jump and whiff heavy to build meter in combination with float when necessary and there aren't many in the cast who can contend with that. No Hailstorm? No problem! Hailstorm also deals incredible chip damage, allowing Storm to always be able to pressure an opponent. She's still paying for her crimes in future installments.
Sentinel, through use of his flight, can call assists at super jump height, something that's very limited within the cast of MvC2. With the right assists (Commando, looking at you), this makes judging where the assist was called incredibly difficult. He, too, is paying for his crimes.

I remember being a teen and playing this in 2000-2002. Was difficult beating my friend, who was equal to me, when he played Magneto. This was before we knew about the games brokenness. Took me 1.5 characters to kill Mags usually. This is how I figured out the game was broken.
So, naturally, I (and a friend who also played) argued online on forums about why the game was broke. We were met with "you shouldn't have gotten hit" and "you're just a scrub".
Years later, universal consensus became the game is broke. *Shocked Pikachu face* YOU THINK!? I still hold a grudge against people to this day about the whole thing. 😅
