this game is still the best Tekken to me, specifically the Wii U version for Tekken Ball and all the Nintendo crossover stuff too but i really liked playing it on the other systems too. really wish we could have gotten a PC port of it

i haven't tried the original but I do have Rumble Roses XX on my Series X since it's a backwards compatible game and it is really good, but I do need to play it more tho.

Every time I see anyone talk about rumble roses in this day and age, I keep saying d*** we are never gonna get another rumble roses like this ever again. Double x had the best set up for a brand new game in the series and all it needed was an expanded story and some more content but now we'll never get something like a Ramble Roses, especially not in this age where if we TRY to get anything sexy involving women, either hit with censorship or people on Twitter will complain like it's what everyone was saying back then when Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball came out. Sigh, at least things like this video exists and it is still nice to hear people talk about Rumble Roses.

Never played this PS2 game. I do own the Xbox 360 sequel and that was fun 4 sure. But I do hear that this game was better.

Cable's jumping lp is one of the best moves in top tier for its speed, range and priority and should be used often as a zoning tool when people have broken through your traps and are getting inside of your zone. It is one of Cable's go-to tools to disrupt a pressuring opponent when they've penetrated his defenses. It's crucial to understand and utilize this button if you ever want a good cable.

Morrigan's crouching LP has 2 hits; she can break Sentinel and Juggernaut super armor if she caught them slipping. Her hitbox is pretty small to where she can crouch certain attacks (maybe 3rd smallest after Roll?). Her soul eraser is probably to most slept lv1 super in the game; does no chip and damage is horrible full screen *however* if you're hit a certain distance and mash, it can do 40% - 50% of damage. Not sure how much exactly but you can tell as soon as you see the other person's health bar drop very quickly when you compare the distances of when her Soul Eraser. Ruby Heart is secretly A+ tier maybe S with the right team yet no one has unlock her full potential. In my opinion, she's very similar to Spiral in terms of locking things down and mobility but Spiral just happen to have better moves. Her teleport what makes her S; Ruby Heart LV1 Super air super but if you do it in 'tiger-knee' motion, you're able to gain invincibility for that frame. Ah! I miss Marvel, ACTUAL Marvel. It's amazing how there's new tech always being discover especially after playing UMVC3 for a bit. I can't wait for my copy in the mail this Friday. :)

Anti-Chinese sentiment is a thing in Japan, and it's not uncommon for Chinese characters in Japanese media to be portrayed as less than fluent in the language (Jam from Guilty Gear comes to mind). I'm guessing that Mongolia was close enough for Khan to have been given the same treatment and that carried over to the English translation.

Khan talks like that to IG reference how that Khan guy in history was barbaric. The others talk normally with usual 2000's voice acting. At any rate based I think I'll be picking this up.

I tried this game for the first time the other day and I had SO MUCH FUN. Yeah its bad, but its fun bad. Def something to show friends and have a few drinks while playing!

You should check out the Muscle Grand Prix duology sometime in the future, it's an arcade wrestling series based on the Kinnikuman manga and I've heard it's pretty great. But yeah, Japanese Pro-Wrestle is shamelessly *_insane_* and even someone who doesn't care about the usual _kayfabe_ such as I can't help but affectionately make fun of it. Plus it's surprisingly impressive how Rumble Roses aged gracefully over the years, both visually & mechanically. (Edit: I forgot to mention the Face/Heel feature and how much I *love* that kind of stuff. Samurai Shodown also did something similar back in it's mid-late 90's games with the Slash/Bust modes as well, and it might have inspired RR to adopt the feature, given how well it fits with the kayfabe of Pro-Wrestling?)

Rumble Rose and its sequels has wrestling moves, mainly leg submissions, you will not see anywhere else in the world. I would love to know where they got the models for some of these moves, such as the arm held indian deathlock variant from schoolboy

Glad you liked the game, this game's awesome. My favorite of the storylines was easily the villain's storyline, Anesthesia, who despite having a "sexy nurse" face gimmick, is secretly an evil mad scientist who wants to defeat every single wrestler on the roster, so she can steal their DNA and create "Lady X". She's the only character who is evil regardless if she's in her face or heel form, and it's implied that she's responsible for a lot of the bad things that happened to the other characters. Playing Anesthesia's storyline first is great, because in other main storylines, Anesthesia is still doing the Lady X stuff in the background, and even has some interesting conversations with some of the characters. Just such a cool game.

Rumble Roses wasn't just insane. It awakened a part of me I never knew existed through Mistress Spencer... a part of me that wanted to be dominated.

Hey Khanage, I wanted to say that your videos have improved a whole lot, especially over the last few months. From the audio quality to the video subjects, it's been awesome to see you get better and better. Keep up the good work! Also you inspired me to pick up a copy of this game for my old ps2. I initially brushed it off as being more style than substance but the gameplay actually looks pretty good and a lot of people swear by the quality of the Yukes wrestling games.

People can complain all they want about sexualization, but spend any time with it and you'll realize that the creators wanted to make a fun game first and foremost, and they absolutely succeeded.
