As a side note you didn’t know for Ginyu B, if Ginyu himself gets hit and only ONE of the force summons comes out, the assist desyncs for the REST OF THE GAME and pairs together characters that shouldn’t be paired, like Burter in the air + Recoome beam, or Guldo fullscreen + Purple Comet, it’s fucking BAAAD
Burter and Recoome is a nightmare i want to unleash to people. I need to fish for them more often.

I'm surprised saibamen weren't on here. Just in general. The amount of times I've been in a blockstring only for some dude I planted like 15 seconds ago to come and save me. It feels so cheap, and I love it every time.

Worst kind of games to be honest. It's because players over-optimize gameplay present day and don't just play the games they like, everyone wants to be the best of the best of the best and it really takes away from alot of online games im playing right now. Everyone is watching someone meta game and emulates that and they pass that on to people who pass that on to people who pass that on to people and now everyone plays the game exactly the same. Apex, WoW, DBFZ, COD, hell even dragonball legends on my phone is like that LOL. I don't mind playing against skillful players(i prefer it), id just rather the people playing the games feel more human instead of animalistic. People care about winning so much, they forget their playing a video game, its crazy.

Anyway, it's not a bad thing to "over-optimize" as you call it. Increasing your chances to win is like the whole point of these games. To many, that's what is fun! Finding ways to make winning easier. If you don't like the idea of people trying to win in their competitive game, it's best to just play something more casual for the sake of your mental health.

Well, Trunks having low blockstun on that assist can be pretty useful for some characters. Specifically those with grabs in their auto-combos. You can use the Trunks assist to override the blockstun of the auto-combo and thus get around the pesky nature of auto-combo grabs whiffing on block because of the opponent still being in blockstun.
Gotenk's quadruple specials aren't a bug btw, he got buffed some time ago on *purpose*
Oh and the reason pro players don't punish Vegito is because he can cancel into 2m or 5h, or just any special, and that'd lead to big damage so better to just wait

I'd argue some things you mentioned aren't really that broken by comparison, if at all, like Janemba's j2H at 8:58, but rather than nitpick a couple of points, I just wanna say that that was a nice, wholesome end to the vid. Yeah, the game isn't perfect, it's riddled with its own share of flaws and ignorant BS, and could definitely use another, _proper_ balance patch to undo some of it (looking at you, Cell 214H), but it's still a really fun game in my opinion and holds a special place in my heart as the first FG I actually played seriously enough to learn, especially as someone who wasn't particularly interested in the genre back then. Rollback was definitely a huge improvement as well since I've been seeing so many new faces and gaining more experience lately.
Yeah I kinda just through together what I think is dumb in my head and would be easy to explain, Janemba j2H is kinda not one of those. Wanted to bring up UI wakeup option and how it just sucks but it would just take too long

We know some of the shit in this game is broken but yet we sxtill love the fuck out of it and even though our playerbase has been dwindling we see DBFZ content creators the reason why so many people are watching us even if they play it or not. Just looking at DotoDoya is one example or even Cloud.
Unfortunately Bandai doesn’t feel the same because they still are update Xenoverse 2 and they just left Dbfz to rot
I still remember when Lab Coat 21 dropped. She used to be able to combo into the buff/debuff lvl1 super. It was straight up broken. Now it’s a lot more situational.

I would have included Videls Gohan attacks. The the punch is a fast check that keeps you from immediately checking them & the bingo ball is nice cuz it’s plus & for a bar vanishing makes it so no matter what you do you don’t win against her, but the big ones are the air ones. The stomp can letter her combo off her level 1 into another level 1 giving her really easy ToD’s on point if you have ppl with level 2’s and that’s ignoring that it tracks meaning ppl can’t just throw stuff out if Shes airborne. But the dive kick controls probably the best angle for a projectile ever, hits hard by the average no commitment air projectile, gives her a universal hard knockdown & in the corner a combo into command grab to mix the hell out of you, all while being the only standard projectile in the game that *beats super dash outright.*
This means she’s a point character who gets all the benefits of offensive assists, but has a neutral game good enough to work on anchor so you just get the easiest time capitalizing on her main strengths.
Yea ever since A21 came out, this game has not been the same. I still play it every once in a while. Its just the amount of stupid shit keeps me from playing for too long

I love this game to heart and played it since beta but man the discussion they made with the patches unplayable I hope one day we get dbfz 2 with all returning dlc characters as main roaster my favorite team was season beginning of season 3
I also hope the adjustment some of the base roster in dbfz 2 for example Hit could be more like hit in the Ultimate DBFZ MOD when he has otgs

@@markhernandez3616Instead of EX Stance I would nerf EX kick to be -8 to stop encouraging raw ExStance EX Kick and I disagree with getting rid of the invincible as Hit kinda needs it and it’s worth half a bar
But the fact that Jiren got a 9 frame 2M buff while Hit had no 2m buff is frankly insanity

Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with Marvel first, but I'd take modern day dbfz over UMvC3 anyday (though, I still love both games to death)

I like how the Ginyu tab was "just Ginyu" haha aint that the truth. The Body Change nerf really hurt though. I used to pull it off in like almost every match, when you could combo into it using Guldo. Now I rarely use it, since its so situational now, it's sad to see.
I actually like it now, because people used to run Ginyu just for Body Change even though Ginyu himself is pretty solid. Now they started seeing his stuff because of the Ginyu Force buff where he calls out 2 members at once instead of just one.

If I had to choose 2 words to describe fighterz, they would be button mashing.
I stopped playing early in the game’s lifecycle when Cell was on every team. Would now be a good time to try to learn and play the game? I’m mostly a Street Fighter player and I suck at coming up with combos in the lab, but this game always looked so awesome to me
It's still pretty active, so I say yeah. Also cell is a million times better now
@@JusticeGivenForm to be fair, EVERYONE is a million times better now. They haven't really nerfed anything, just buffed everything to be somewhat equal. Plus there's no Guiles. Both 'zoners' zoning tools are very low damage so they can't really camp, plus there's a universal anti-projectile soo....'

This is probably the worst time to try and learn this game. Anybody still playing has likely been playing FighterZ for years, maybe even since launch. That’s six years worth of dirt and knowledge checks.
@@fissilewhistle That Goes for every oldish fighting game. You still got new people playing and enjoying Killer Instinct for example, and that came out before fighters, not to mention stuff like melty blood.
Sure, if you only play games to compete professionally, now might be an okay time because you can build from the knowledges of vets without any of their bad habits since the game keeps changing drastically, just look at pre A21 compared to now, so much is insanely different.
And Rollback has changed the online meta so much, Z broly and The fusions used to be much stronger when they had unreactables, well, broly had the unreactable grabs, but the fusions were just annoying, which I'd say is worse.

It is stated, but I don't think it was ever supposed to let you reset your special cancels
And now that I'm thinking about it I think it's the only special move you can vanish cancel on whiff
@@galladiated you can cancel almost every mové into a vanish and gotenks has always been able to do that, they only 236 into that

@susus13 no sir not on whiff other than Gotenks. Check the vanish section of DBFZ mechanics on dustloop pretty sure they cover this in there, pretty easy to set up in training as well. It's why beams, special grabs, and lariat style moves are all punishable when you whiff and can't be canceled during their animation or recovery. They can be canceled on hit but not whiff.
I first started feeling this way when they completely butchered Vegito's 2M, the length it goes is just comical now
