I have a Mercury Sable 08 and I am 6 3 and I love it because the heater warms up very fast and the radio is good and the seats are great. I folded down the rear seat and carried 2 by 4 by 10 from HD The problem I did have was with a cam phaser that was hard to fix and cost me 1600 dollars because I replaced a bunch of engine parts while it was apart like the water pump and timing chains. My CV was more durable but less comfortable. I drove to Ca from NM and I got 28 mpg average.
@@bass_fish_gleb That too. I miss when my grandpa had one. He had one to drive a few months out of year at a vacation home but has since sold everything. I have some stories on it.
@@42luke93 In 2022 (from June to September) I owned a third-generation Ford Taurus in a station wagon body. A very comfortable car, I sold it because it rotted very badly and its gearbox broke down. Now my dream is a 2008-2009 Ford Taurus X, but there are not 1 of them in Russia(((
That door opening on the slalom was nuts! Ford quality baby!!!
These cars just disappeared. I haven’t seen one of these in a long time.
So weird to hear John Davis NOT say "TaH-rus" in a retro review 😂

Very short-lived generation for the Taurus. Only lasted for 2008 and 2009. Kind of an oddball if you ask me
This very brief Taurus generation was actually pretty good, much better than the junky 3rd & 4th gen ones. Always liked the looks of these too.
5th gen was the best generation of taurus! And it looks awesome! My dream car!
1-4th Gen was the best. Had front bench seats and column shifter.
@@42luke93 3rd gen of Taurus looks really awesome! Also 1 of my most favorite cars! I love biodesign!

3:32 the drivers door opens …guess it wasn’t fully latched
I noticed that too!!
It’s all good until the inner water pump fails! Engineering dip shit degree to come up with this idea. Thank goodness I didn’t go to college.👍🏻
Volvo did amazing job ford should let them continue making for them
It looks similar to a fusion. Why do people even consider it ?
It's bigger than a Fusion.
Yet Ford took the Taurus away once again.. smh when will they learn?!
And the Taurus also sold as Lincoln mkz and mercury sable
