You guys should sell the yarn just by itself, because every time I try to crochet I always get frustrated because my hook keeps getting stuck, then I bought one of you kits and the game changed. Your kits made me understand crochet so much better!

@@Menhera_Clown I can definitely work much faster w chenille as well, I get you. Regular yarn kinda splits and it's easy for your hook to grab something it shouldn't.
My first "for beginners" kit came with solid white loose fraying yarn, a skinny little needle, and a standard pattern instead of instructions. I jumped in the deep end with that amigurumi bunny! 😂
I have Knit and Crocheted since about 1975 or so. I am cheap as heck and only use cotton, bamboo or wool. I started of course with my Mother's leftovers. She knit Mittens and slippers mostly. She taught me how to knit and a neighbor taught me to crochet. I am working on a dog sweater an afghan and a pair of bed socks for my husband right now. Also doing a plastic canvas house with a yard and fence napkin holder. I also Sew and have just about every kind of craft item you can buy and a few You can no longer buy unless you buy antique sewing supplies. The only needlecraft I don't like is Candlewicking. Just boring knots to me.

Sometimes I get free wool if the owner has too much and cannot get rid of it, but I am no good at carding and even worse at spinning it. That looks similar to duscontinued CYgnet Whopper Cotton (actually 50% acrylic mix) thar I used to teach my son to crochet. It was between bulky 5 and 6, which made it easy to see the structure of stitches. And it didn't fray or split... If this yarn is anything like it, I would love to buy some. (I got the cotton from an end of line sale, so it doesn't exist any more.)

Why does this look like a type of yarn that I had but the problem was it was a disaster in the sense that there was an outer coating. That looks just like your yarn, and then a simple thread inside that came out as soon as I started crocheting.
They are saying how it helps learners to start crocheting, they never said it was any new yarn. The real thing they are selling is patterns for little animals and videos/materials that will make it easier to learn without having to go and try to find them all separately

Wrap the yarn around your hook and pull it through the loop that’s already on your hook and then repeat for how many chains you need
