June 7, 2020...Ohio...I am not sure how this came up in my feed sometime after I had actually given up on ever having a successful go at making "Bob Evans" type of biscuits. Well I watched this video 2 x's printed out the recipe and made notes...I made them and followed your TIPS and even though I didn't have White Lily flour I used what I had which was Aunt Jemima's and it was 1000% success...SO thank you for your tweets ...made all the difference.

Linda, I want you to know watching your videos are such a joy for me! It's like being in my Gramma's kitchen again, watching her cook. I was only allowed to watch and only until I got in her way and then I was sent out. Watching you cook is a lot easier because I'm not getting in your way! LOL...I can watch over and over and learn so much from you. So I thank you! I can't wait to try this method. I've been doing your other method and they've always (almost--user error when they weren't) been perfect. Biscuits have always been hard for me. I don't know why, but they seem to come out more like rocks than biscuits. But I'm learning...with your help! Have a great day!!

A lot of my questions and comments do NOT show up. I don't know why but I hope this helps clear up those questions. God Bless!!
As you pointed out, there are variables with baking these biscuits creating extra questions one has. Experience has you perfecting your work R/T changes. :-)

Yummy, those look delicious! My mother used to make the best biscuits. I know, everybody says that.:) But she didn't grease the pan either. Instead, she very lightly sprinkled flour into the pan & they never stuck. She also baked them in one of those tin foil pie pans. Imagine that! I don't know how but it worked beautifully for her. For me, well, that's a different story.☺

I think the reason you have to add more buttermilk is because you are measuring it into a dry measuring cup and not a liquid measuring cup. Recipe is great. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I do that quite often and have never had a problem. I believe it was due to humidity in the house or the flour being too low....but good advice just the same!! TFW God Bless, Linda
