It’s great to see you again. What an impressive WIP collection. It is easy to see that you are deliberate in your choices and confident with color-what you like and how to adapt color to suit your style! When you talked about removing a large block of stitching because it bothers you…yet acknowledging that others would not notice. I agree wholeheartedly. Every time you look at that finished piece you will remember your dilemma and choice. My mother always said, If you can live with it, I can too.” I always fixed it.😊
Sharon, I love all your stitching. Your stitching is just fabulous. Your choices and changes are excellent - you have a great eye for color and detail. Please keep making your Floss Tubes!!!

So good to see you back.your samplers are gorgeous.the ship is out at sea so the detail is blurred. The frame complements your beautiful work.Congratulations on your daughters engagement shall you make the wedding dress? Frog your flower pot you will feel rewarded once you have corrected the mistake.Happy stitching.
Your comment about the "Ship At Sea" made me feel SO much better. LOL, I am a terrible sewist so I will not be making a wedding dress for sure! And yes, the flower pot will be frogged. 🐸
Your finished pieces are gorgeous 😍 You have such a good eye for color and the linens you stitch in are so pretty! Some how I have missed many of your videos even though I’m subscribed so I’m going back today and catching up
Oh, yes! Enjoy Mary Morgans. I was just stitching on her today and she just keeps getting prettier! I may just have to stitch her to completion. We'll see! 🧐
First time watching your channel. First of all, I love❤❤your shawl. Wondering what pattern it is. As soon as you said I’m not putting glass on future projects I hit that subscribe button so fast. Amen! 😂😂😂and I knew I found a great channel when you mentioned not having words in your home. Oh my goodness. I totally get that! I’m doing a piece with the Lord’s Prayer as a memorial tribute to my dad and sister passing last year. But that’s an exception . You’re stitching is beautiful 😍
The shawl pattern is the "Wick" pattern by Helen Stewart. Here is the Ravelry link: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wick-shawl Glad you are enjoying the show!
Welcome back!! Congrats on your daughter's engagement, and I'm sorry about your sick relative. I like the higher counts too, partly bc I prefer using 1 strand of floss, but with my eyesight, the magnifying light is a game changer. I've heard PTP is a little smaller count due to the dyeing process - their fabric is my #1 choice as well, and Oaken is my go-to. Bc the vase bothers you on Ann Gott, I'd rip it out and redo it. I had no idea that NPI colors varied! Very nice projects.
I totally agree with you about wording in samplers. I love some of the reproduction samplers, but many have Christian verses and since I am of another faith, I will avoid those samplers. I also am not a knick knack type of person, so many of the small projects don't appeal to me. I keep one frame (5x5) in my kitchen bay window and I interchange a project every month into that frame, but that is the only small I have. Everything else gets hung on the walls in themes.
Oh, yes! A kindred spirit...Luckily there are a lot of reproduction samplers without verses. I am not religious so I find the ones with religious verses particularly off-putting. But I get that religion was important to the girls. It's nice that we have so many choices!
